Ha movies portray werewolves to be these ugly half man wolf creatures but tell me how could they survive on this world if they became something so easily seen? The truth? A werewolves' transformation is into that of a large wolf nothing more and were not a blood thirsty as Hollywood makes us out to be. Shea was from a wolf clan deep in Ireland but she was a very independent women and when her family began to tell her that she needed to pick a mate she had had enough of living in a pack. They never went or traveled anywhere believing that saying in an area they knew was safer and she would be damned if she would do the same thing everyday for the rest of her life.

She traveled the country both in the wolf and human form seeing things she had only dreamed of. For once she enjoyed her life rather then living a sheltered safe one with her family but that all came to an end when she came to America. The people were different here even when it came to wild life, one night when she was roaming around in her wolf form she could smell the scent of a human miles away but she didn't think much of it. That was until she heard a loud bang and felt the sting of pain as the bullet entered her chest just missing her heart. A loud yelp could be heard for miles and she tried her best to run from the area. She had managed to lose them but at the same time she was losing more and more blood as she moments passed by and she was even too weak to hold her wolf form.

She found her self walking naked through the forest holding onto her bag that was filled with the only things she had left in this world while the other hand pushed on the wound above her right breast. She went stiff as she could hear the sound of people but their scents were familiar to her, the goddess smiled down on her now leading her to her own people and she just hopped they would help her but she didn't get very far. She collapsed onto the ground and was found moments later by one of the older women of the wolf clan. With help she took Shea into her home and began her efforts to save her.

Days passed as the members of the clan stopped by to see the mysterious she wolf, they wanted to get a glimpse of her because rumors were circulating that she was quiet beautiful and to see if she might live. Shea did indeed survive and as she finally woke she was greeted with an unfamiliar sight. The wolf clan was huge larger then she could ever remember seeing but then again she wasn't sure either. When she woke she didn't remember who she was nor her name the only reason she knew it now was because her name was written on the bag she carried. The old women that took care of her was nice enough to give her new clothing and let her continued to stay with her until her memories returned.

Everyone was so nice to her but things began to grow tense between the men as they began to talk of who was to be her mate and several gave her gifts to sway her to picking them but she refused them all. There were rules when it came to a clan of such a large size and when more then one male wanted an women for their mate there were contests to see who would win her. She didn't want that, she didn't want the clan to fight over her and neither did the leader. He wanted his clan to live in peace and before Shea came along it was quiet peaceful. So in order to keep the peace he did something that soon he would regret, he announced to his clan that he claims Shea for his own mate and she wasn't very happy about it.

The story begins with a contest beginning between a handful of males, the winner would have the right to take Shea as their mate and this is where the leader will come in with his announcement. If your interested please pm me.

It was night fall when the men began to gather in the center of the large town created out in the middle of no where. The clan had done very well for themselves the place looked like a large village and everyone helped out to make the place the best it could be for all of them. A crowd began to gather around them as per tradition with the men fighting for Shea in the center of them. Shea sat there on a tree stump on the hill looking down at the display, something inside of her recoiled at this sight like she had seen it before but some where else. For some reason the fact that a bunch of men were fighting to claim her as a mate wasn't new to her and it made her sick. She didn't want to be tied down to a mate, she wanted to be by herself left alone and not haven't worry about satisfying a mate.

Its not like she tired to stop all this, she turned away every male that came to her and turned down every gift they gave her but still they pursued her. Several women of the clan didn't like her because a couple of the men in the circle were to be their mates and they felt as if Shea had stolen them from them. She sighed softly as she pulled her knees into her chest and let her head rest on her knees. Her long red hair fell down her legs and hung off the stump that she use for a seat. She didn't want to sit here and watch this but a few of the old women of the clan had prevented her from leaving. She just wanted to transform into her wolf form and run off into the woods but since her injury her memory wasn't the only thing that was lost to her.

Since that night Shea couldn't seem to transform, the most that happens when she tries is her eyes change to a bright blue, her canniness drop down in her mouth and her nails grow out long and sharp like claws. The healers of the clan didn't understand why this happened to her, the bullet didn't hold any silver to it nor where it hit should it of affected her like this but here she was. The only thing they could figure was that it must by tied to her memory loss and when she got her memories back so to would she be able to transform once again. Shea huffed softly blowing some strands of her long red hair out of her green eyes and she sat there watching the scene below her.

Marcus growled as Anthony stepped forward to claim his mate, he could feel it pulsing in his blood. She was meant to be his, "NO! She's mine!" he roared. He stepped forward towards Anthony who was trying to claim her.

"If you know what's good for you Marcus, you'll step back right now," growled Anthony.

Marcus snarled at him and said, "Not until you step away from my mate," it was like a burning urge driving him. Just the faint scent from her body sent his crazy. He needed to claim her, needed to make her his.

Anthony snarled his claws extending, he leaped at Marcus and slashed at his chest. He grunted as searing pain flayed him. He lashed out at him as he came close again his claws slashing his arm and chest. He ripped off his shirt and quickly tore away his pants and transformed. He charged at Anthony as he tore off his clothes, he went for the throat and whimpered when he hooked his arm under his neck and slammed him off. He choked for a moment while Anthony finished shredding his clothes.

The change rippled over him, this was a full out dominance battle. One that he would win without question, he wasn't going to let him land a single finger on his mate

Shea's body tensed as the leader of the clan stepped forward to lay claim over her but another male stepped forward to challenge him. To see two men fighting over her, to lay claim over her as her mate whether she wanted them or not angered her and quickly her eyes turned a vibrant blue. Her nails grew into sharp points and they dug into the tree trunk she sat on. The other females around her watched her, they all hated her and felt sorry for her at the same time. Shea didn't want any of this, the poor girl had been shot by hunters, she lost her memory and the ability to change. All she wanted was to be left alone but once the men saw her beauty they all wanted her. All of this seemed so familiar from the men fighting over her to how she seemed to react to the entire thing like this all had happened before but at another time and in another place.

She watched the leader and a male named Marcus change one after another into their wolf forms and jealously filled her. They were so easily able to shift into their other forms but no matter how hard she tired and how strong the call of the full moon was she was stuck in her human form. She couldn't stand to watch this, she stood her nails leaving long gashes in the wood in there wakes and she turned her back on the entire scene. The woman around her watched as he form dissolved into the shadows of the night. At first Shea just walked but as her emotions filled her body her walk became a run and soon she was jumping from tree to tree trying to get as far from the village as possible so she could no longer hear the sounds of the men fighting.

Shea didn't stop until she reached a lake not far from the village and she dropped down into the sand laying among it her eyes looking up at the full moon. Still she could hear it calling out to her, inviting her the shift into her other form and run among the trees but her body was still. She could hear now only the sound of the water is it rush up onto shore and then retreated once more into the body of water. She closed her jade green eyes as she lay there, her mind began to wonder over the only memories she seemed to recall in the past few days since she had woken up. They had only been faces that she couldn't put names to and as she searched her mind for them pain moved through the wound in her chest. She sat up quickly her hand moving it over her heart to steady herself and tears began to move down her cheeks from her eyes. "Oh moon goddess help me..." She whispered out a soft prayer to the lycan god, the moon goddess the very one that had created her kind and watched over them now.

Marcus snarled at Anthony as he lunged at him. He dived out of the way and charged at him, digging his fangs and claws into his rump. Anthony yelped and threw him off, he slammed against a tree and wheezed as the air was smashed out of his lungs. He got up and charged at him again, he was not going to lose.

Anthony growled as he came closer, power flickered in his eyes as he backed up slightly and braced for the mipact. Marcus charged into him his claws raking his chest. Trying to snap his fangs over his muzzle. Marcus glared at him with murderous intent as he brought his claws up again. He'd prove himself to be a worthy mate to her, he knew that she had run off. He'd find her after he dealt with this.

He stared at him intently, locking his eyes with the alpha's. He would not back down from this.

Slowly the pain from her wound began to fade and she sat up carefully. She could still hear the howls of the clan in the distance as they cheered on the two fighters and she growled softly. She moved to her feet her hands slowly working to remove her clothing until she was naked underneath the moonlight. She moved to the water walking in until the water came up to her knees and she sat down. She wouldn't be able to submerge her body completely because her wound was still healing and it wasn't good to get the bandages wet. Shea leaned forward so her hair could dip into the water and she lifted water with her hands up onto her head to wet her hair. She took her time washing her hair and then moved to wash the rest of herself. It was an annoying process because of the bandages but she did the best she could. Suddenly she could hear the sound of footsteps and she turned to look over her shoulder growling softly as a warning to them to stay away.

Shea stopped though as she saw the medican woman standing on the beach with a towel for her and fresh bandages to treat her wound. She owed the woman her life for pulling the bullet from her chest and taking such good care of her. She was really the only one she trusted in the clan and slowly she lifted herself from the water taking the towel from her. Shea wrapped it around her body and took as seat on a nearby rock so the woman could work. The medican woman removed her old bandages and began to clean the wound which caused a growl to sound from Shea's lips. She then began to rub a healing lotion into her wound and then began to wrap it as Shea began to look up into the night's sky.

He suddenly broke contact with Anthony's gleaming eyes and lunged at him tackling him to the ground digging his front claws into his vulnerable stomach area. Marcus growled at him, he didn't want to kill his alpha, this was a mate fight not a dominance struggle. He would protect his interests.

Anthony bowed his head against the ground, conceding that he had lost. He hoped that Marcus didn't have any ill intent aganst the girl they had rescued.

Marcus released him and looked around at the crowd that had been encouraging them. He stared at them carefully, daring any of them to step forward and challenge his claim. They all stood unmoving.

He lept off into the forest tracking the female's inticing scent made all the more richer by the small of her blood from the gunshot wound. He growled thinking about it, when he found out who hurt his mate he was going to rip out their throat.

He prowled towards the pond he knew she sat at, the first thing he would do was try and get her name. He would prove himself worthy to her, he knew from her absense that she didn't really care for his display. It made her different from any other female he knew, he just had to find out what she wanted from a mate.

He walked up to the water and found where she sat the healer rebinding her wound, he found it odd that she was away from the their display. He walked up to her and sat next to her still in his wolf form.

Shea's body stiffened as she felt someone come out of the woods and out of the corner of her eyes she could she a male making his way towards her in his wolf form. The healer tried not to pay attention to him as she finished wrapping Shea's wound and then quickly retreated to leave to two of them alone. She tried to stop her, she didn't want to be alone with this person, not one bit. She stood with out saying a word to him letting the towel drop from around her body and she moved to walk over her where she had shed her clothing. Shea wasn't a shy girl nor was any lycan because they spent half their time naked anyways so nudity was a regular thing.

She began pull on her jeans now zipping them up quickly and then pulling her t-shirt over her head. "If you think because you won some competition between some of the males that now your my mate...your wrong." She said harshly her eyes changing from their jade green to the deep blue of her wolf form, "You all fight to claim me but did you ever once think that i wanted to be claimed..." Her blue eyes turned to lock onto Marcus as he sat there in his wolf form, it made her sick, it was so easy for him to take on such a form but no matter how hard she tried it would never happen. "I will never be your mate..." Shea said quiet harshly now as she turned her back to him and began to walk down the beach. All the males fought over her simply because of her beauty nothing else. They didn't want her as a mate because of what kind of person she was on the inside but how she looked on the outside which did nothing but piss her off and make her feel like nothing more then some prize they had won.

He chuckled to himself, he could feel the aura of anger just pouring out of her in waves. She was certainly his mate that was for sure. All that fire locked up inside of her, he decided for now to stay in his wolf form. He certainly wasn't self-concious, but he didn't want her to get the wrong impression of him. Telling her the truth about what he did would probably make her inclined to hate him even more then she seemed to right at this moment.

He needed to approach this with calm, he needed to crush the urge to claim her now. He needed to seduce her and win her over. He was patient, he would get what he wanted in the end, now he didn't have any other competiton for her. He could pursue her at will, he needed to think of something that would impress her. His fighting skills were something she clearly wasn't interested in right at the moment.

He followed her down on the beach his black fur gleaming in the bright moon light. Tomorrow was the full moon he could feel the energy burning through his veins, he knew that tomorrow was going to be especially hard. He didn't know if he had the self restraint to stay away from his mate when everything told him to go and claim her.

He wouldn't be able to even go near any of the other females, now that he found his mate there was only one way to quench the desire. He would have to run ahead of the pack, hopefully far enough ahead that he wouldn't be trapped by her alluring scent that called to him even now.

Shea could easily pick up the mans scent as he began to follow her down the beach and she growled at him softly once more. Just to look at him in his wolf form sent anger through her, did he not believe the remors about her. She usually stayed away from the pack durning the full moon because it was such a tease to her. Everyone around her was able to take on their other form but she was left behind. She stopped quickly now and turned to look down at him with her blue wolf eyes, "if your going to follow me then do me a favore and turn back into your human form...I don't like to be around the clan when their in their wolf form." She continue to walk forward now, it felt so good to have her bare toes dig into the sand but it wasn't anything like how it felt to have her paws in the sand.

She stopped once more sighing softly and she sat down where she stood. "I don't understand why anyone want a damaged mate anyway...you've heard the rumors right? Well their true since I was shot I can no longer transform into my wolf form and to be around the others durning the full moon is just torture..." shae pulled her legs up against her knees now and laid her head on her knees.

He winced, he was hurting her un-intentionally. He heard her words flow of her like warm honey, a shudder travelled down his spine as he watched her entranced. He bowed his head to her and shuddered as his body rippled morphing back into his human shape. He stood up and said, "My name is Marcus, I haven't had a chance to get your name."

He suddenly remembered the looks the women gave him as he walked away from the campsite. He knew some of them would be upset, he was supposed to be mating with one of them during the moon. It certainly wasn't going to happen now, he was bound to her. What sprung to mind was that it was some sort of mental blockage, you had to learn how to control the beast. But that didn't explain how her memory loss stopped her from changing during the moon.

"I only want to prove myself worthy of being your mate. You're beautiful, I want the chance to get to know you better," he said softly as he stepped closer to her. He knew most of the women were intimated by him. But not his mate, he grinned she was a hellhound for sure.

She could fell him shift into his human form, it was a very distinct wave of energy their kind gave off and it the very thing she missed. He kept her head on her knees as he told her his name. She knew who he was because the one that was to be his mate sat next to her and Shea felt sorry for the woman despite her hating her. To have your heart and mind set on someone only to have them change their mind tossing them aside for another, it must of hurt greatly.

When he spoke of not getting a chance to get her name she lifted her head and stared at him with her deep blue wolf eyes to growl at him once more. Shea stood quickly as he stepped closer to her and she reached out to place a hand on his chest and push him back a step. "I'm beautiful...that is the reason you fought for me because of what i look like on the outside...you don't even know my name but still you step up to claim me..." There was anger in her voice and in this moment she had every right to be angry at the man to stood before her now.

"If you really wanted me as your mate you should of asked me my name and gotten to know me better by have conversations with me rather then taking any challenger in the village to establish your claim over me...it didn't matter who win tonight because i pair can't become mated unless the female excepts..." She turned her back to him now and continued to walk down the beach. She stopped on for a second to look over her shoulder, "You haven't earned the right to know my name...if you want to know so badly then maybe you should ask around the village because i won't tell it to you..." Shea held a bit of sadness in her eyes as they slowly turned back to her normal jade green and soon she turned her head forward to continue to walk down the beach.

Shea thought at first she had been too harsh with Marcus but something inside of her told her she could never settle with a normal mate. She would have to ignore her urges during the full moon to mate like everyone of them felt every cycle, she wanted someone she loved to spend the rest of her life with not just who ever won the contest for her like several females did. Her animal urges would never be enough for her because her heart wanted more then just lust.

He couldn't help it but his wolf side was pissed at being rejected like that. The moon had fuller control over his emotions and he knew he was going to regret this but he couldn't stop it from happening he growled at her and said. "It looks like you don't know much at all about wolves, even though you have lost your memories thats no reason to deny your instincts. Don't you feel the magnetic pull?"

He felt like he was dying inside his mate solidly rejected him, with his wolf in control it was really hurting. Tomorrow was going to be hell, not even being allowed to touch her was going to drive him mad.

He knew going into this to expect this sort of reception, she certainly wasn't a normal female that would have jumped at the chance to be mated to an alpha wolf. But he was glad for that, because normal females were far too docile for his tastes. He just hoped he wasn't going to be burned by his chosen mate. He would pursue her until she gave in, he wasn't giving up on his mate wanting him.

She just had to feel something or he might just physically die from it. He'd heard of powerful mating connections before but this was way beyoind what he felt.

Shea stopped now at his words, her fists clenched and unclenched in her anger and she had to do everything she could to prevent from doing something stupid. She turned slowly now here eyes locking on his from where he stood and for a few moments she just looked at him. Everything inside of her told her to give into her instincts, when he fought it made her react to him because nothing turned a female on more then a male to compete for her but she didn't give into that. He was an alpha and she could feel the dominance pouring off him but what made her different then any of the other females and would beg for his attention was that she was born an alpha female whether she remembered it or not it was how she acted as well as carried herself.

"Of course i fell it...ive had to watch a full moon come and go with out me transforming...think about it to have the moon call out to you and your body not respond. I'm pent up with all these emotions between just wanting to run wild in the woods in my wolf form to the sexual frustration the full moon brings but i can't let my body influence me...we mate for life and in the end i want it to be with the one i love not someone i don't know that was the winner in the contest for me..." Shea was filled with some many emotions she felt she might explode from them all and suddenly pain moved through her body. She moved a hand quickly to her wound and the other to her head a she fell to her knees into the sand.

This wasn't new to her but i would be to Marcus, it always happened when something triggered a memory and thankfully until now she had been alone every time it happened. Shea began to breath heavily her eyes glazing over and then the memory began to reveal its self as she cried out in pain. Shea sat there in her memory just as she had done before when Marcus fought for her but her memory took place in a different time and place. The people around her this time weren't angry woman but people that seemed familiar to her and seemed to be there to support her. The ring down below was a blur to her, she couldn't see who was fighting but she could feel the same feelings moving through her as before. She didn't care for the contest and even as she watched it in her memories it seemed her mind was made up not to except who would win.

Slowly the memory came to an end bringing her back to real time but it pained her so much that her body quickly became weak and then suddenly things went black. Her body went limp and began to fall down towards the sand.

He grinned she was certainly his mate, that was one thing for sure. Her fire and her stance was aggresive, he knew exactly what she was and why he was so hungry for her. She was a female alpha in her prime. Exactly who he needed to be his mate, now all he needed was to figure out why she couldn't change. There must be some sort of condition because the moon forces the change.

She suddenly fell down to the sand, his eyes widened in panic. He dove towards her and caught her body as it hit the sand. He held her as her eyes clouded, she muttered something about a fight as her body trembled. Then the vision passed over and she collapsed against him.

He picked up her limp body and ran as fast as he could back towards their campsite, he had never been so scared in his whole life. Worry dug its talons into his chest as he reached their campsite, what if she wouldn't wake up?

The moment Marcus ran into the campsite the old healer walked out of her hut and the moment she saw Shea in his arms passed out she call out to him. "Marcus bring her in here..." she said waving him to followed her, "Put her down on my bed..." The medican woman began to move through her things now pulling out some herbs and tossing them into a bowl. She grabbed a few more liquids and began to mix them all together. She looked to the young alpha seeing the worry on his face and she gave him a soft smile. "Don't you worry Marcus...she had just fainted...it seems since she was shot every time Shea remembers something it overloads her in a way until she passes out...i think the silver her the bullet left something behind and until i works its way out of her system she won't be able to change nor remember everything right away."

The old medican woman gave him a warm pat on the arm as he set Shea down, "I'm working on a few more things to work the poison out of her system...ill need you to remove her shirt so i can get at her bandages."

'Fucking silver,' he thought as he reached over her and carefully pulled her shirt off.

"What's her name Aliah?" he asked.

"Her name is Shea, and I think you have your hands full with this one Marcus. Especially what I heard just happened before. Though I think Anthony had that ass kicking coming, he was to sure of himself. He needed that confidence shaken so he would really look at himself," she said back.

He grinned and said, "Well he was trying to claim my mate, she's mine but I have to make her see that. Is there anything you can give me to try and cool the burn? She's not going to want to come near me tomorrow."

"Unfortunately not Marcus, there isn't anything I can think of that can calm those urges. Though maybe hunting and eating could help it, but it is going to be a challenge," she said.

"I know that, I just wish there was an easier way." he said.

"Nothing is ever easy when it comes to mating," she said as she dribbled the crushed herbs with water over Shea's skin.

Shea could hear voices through the darkness and slowly her body began to stir as Aliah began to pour the herbs over her wound. The herbs soothed away the ache of pain coming from her chest as she slowly began to come too and he green eyes fluttered open. Things at first were blurry but quickly her sight cleared to see Aliah the medican woman and Marcus her so called mate hovering above her. Shea cleared her voice now, "What...what happened..."

Aliah moved a hand to her forehead now and brushed strands of her long red hair out of her eyes. "Shhh...dear you fainted again..." Shea sighed softly, "I'm going to try that treatment again so prepare your self." the old woman turned to Marcus now, "I need you to hold her down...last time it two three lesser males to hold her down...the woman has quiet a bit of strength and the treatment hurts like hell so she will fight to get away."

Shea growled softly at the thought of going through all that pain again but the last time Aliah performed it things seemed to get better and her memories came easier to her when she remembered them. She just had to be patient like Aliah kept telling her, the sooner the sliver worked its way through her system the faster she would return to normal and Shea would do anything it took. She closed her eyes as the only woman moved to her bandages and began to remove all of them. The wound was still quiet deep, usually a lycan would heal from such a wound quickly but because of the silver it slowed down their fast healing to that of a humans pace. The old woman grabbed a vile of a red liquid but before she proceeded she turned to Marcus to make sure he was ready and in that moment Shea quickly closed her eyes.

The red liquid was poured into her wound and the moment it hit her Shea screamed out in pain. Every muscle in her body began to tighten as the potion moved through her body seeking out the sliver in her blood stream and she fought against Aliah and Marcus as they held her down. Her body thrashed on the bed as pain filled every nerve in her body and as soon as it all had started it suddenly stopped. Shea suddenly looked ill and Aliah helped to roll her over just as she threw up into a container the old woman had ready. "That's it Shea let it all out..." She said in a soothing manner as she rubbed her hand against Shea's back, "She will be fine now Marcus a few more of these treatments and she will be back to normal...i just can't do them to close to one another or it could kill her...the potion leaves her quiet weak for a few days so i suggest you do your best to stay away from her until the full moon passes..."

Shea rolled back over onto her back now her body laying limp on the healer's bed and her weak eyes looked at Marcus for a moment before they closed once more as she drifted off into sleep. "You can stop by tomorrow during the day if you wish to see how she is but the moment night fall comes i suggest you get as far from the village as possible until sun up..." Aliah waited a moment to make sure Shea was really asleep before she spoke once more, "If you force your self on her she will never trust you nor will she ever come to love you Marcus..." The old woman moved and hand to his cheek for a moment giving him an encouraging smile. "I believe you will be good for her but you can't truly get to know her until she knows who is really is..." The old woman laughed softly now before patting him on the cheek.

His soul was hurting, every moment he spent with her that she didn't accept him in was sheer torture. He stood there unmoving as he watched her body move, he needed to comfort her. Silver poisioning was agony something he thought only demons could possibly dream up.

He pulled back the sheet draped over her body and slipped in next to her. He wrapped the sheet over both of them, her skin was like fire, he needed to comfort her. He didn't know how the hell he was going to stay away from her during the moon. But he had to forr both their sakes, hurting her would be like cutting out his own heart.

Aliah watched as the young alpha pulled back the sheet and slipped in next to her. She could do nothing but smile at him, she had heard of soul connections between two lycans but never seen it before. It seemed that Marcus could feel it between him and Shea but in the girl current condition there was no way she could feel anything but her own pain. "Give her a few moments before you move her..." Aliah moved about her room grabbing a few things and packing them into a bag. "I'm trusting you to get her to her hut...its just two down from this one. The medicn for her wound is it this bag as well as the bandages make sure you wrap them up as soon as possible...we don't want her to get an infection. It seems the silver has slowed down her healing abilities to that of a normal human but that's only until the silver is out of her system. Now if you would take her back to her own hut i have a mess to clean up."

He blinked for a moment and nodded, he lifted her off the bed and grabbed the bag. He brought her to her cabin and carried her inside. He wasn't going to leave her, he didn't want to. He placed the bag down and then carefully placed her down on her bed. He opened the medicine bag and pulled out the ointment.

Carefully he rubbed it over her bullet wound, biting back a growl at the sight of the injury, he'd find the mongrel responsible and rip his head off. He'd hurt his mate now he was going to pay for it. Once he had finished placing the oil over her injury he wrapped it up tightly with the bandages.

He then pulled off her pants and slid in the bed next to her and wrapped his arm around her warm body. He'd protect her keep her safe, once again he thought that he didn't know how he was going to survive being away from his mate tomorrow.

Warmth, she had never felt so warm in her life then that night and she slept so soundly with out really moving at all as he held her. That night had been different from all the others, she was at peace but when she woke she would find a surprise that would bring that peace to an end. It was the sunlight coming through the window of her hut that woke her up and slowly her eyes opened to looked around the room. As she tired to move it was then that she noticed a pair of arms surrounding her and she climbed up off the bed out of them.

She looked at her self first before seeing who it was, she still wore her underwear but her jeans were gone and only part of her chest that was covered was from the bandages on her wound. Her blue wolf eyes came to rest on the person in her bed and a growl of anger sounded through her hut. "How dare you..." She said picking up a pair of jeans and pulling them out before pulling a button up plaid shirt to cover her chest. "What the hell are you doing in my hut...and in my bed with your arms around me." She had to move against on of the walls of her hut to stead herself, she was still weak from the treatment the old woman had given her and she knew for a few days she would be a bit weak.

"I'm grateful for you helping me but that doesn't give you the right to sleep in my bed with me..." Shea moved to walk out of the tent but it was then that everything caught up to her and her head spun making her lose her balance. She began to fall to the floor, her mind had moved into a fog of confusion as it tried to keep up with what she was doing and now her body was falling down towards the floor of the hut as it had on the beach last night.

He climbed off the bed quickly and scooped her up off the ground and placed her back on her bed.

"Being my mate gives me the right to spend the night with you, considering I can't be around you tonight because the wolf would want his mate. And I know you don't want that, but you will have other things to do with our mating. I am going to help you through this so you remember everything. So you know that you're my mate, that silver messed up your head for a while. I'll be here for you when you do remember," he said.

He didn't want to leave her but he had to in a few hours or he'll want her too badly to resist. If only she gave in, but it wasn't going to be that easy for him. He knew she wouldn't make it easy, she's and alpha that demanded only the best. He would be that best, he would control himself and keep away tonight. But beyond that he wasn't going to, he'd spend the next full moon with her under him and next to him.

Shea could feel arms close around her quickly lifting her up into his arms and he moved her back onto the bed once more. Her head was dizzy for a few moments but it began to clear as he spoke and she barred her head into her pillow. She didn't understand him nor why he was being so nice to her and something inside her wondered if it was just to get on her good side so she would give into him.

Shea sighed softly now, "I can't do this any longer..." She was so tired. Tired of walking around with out knowing who she was or where she came from. She was tried of being only half of what she really was and she was tired of having to fight everyone off her. "I don't know who i am...where im from or who my family really is...i feel like an empty shell walking around without a purpose..." She could feel the pain move through her head now as something began to break free from her mind and she moved a hand to her head to steady herself as the memory began to play before her eyes.

"Devan..." she spoke softly as a man with long blond hair stood before her and she remembered who that man was to her. He was just like Marcus, the one that won the contest to claim her as his mate but Devan only wanted her as a prize. Others stood around her but before she could remember who they were the memory ended and the pain left her body. Her hand on her forehead moved to massage it now and she let her body curl into a ball besides Marcus. She knew he had to of heard her call out the man from her old clans name and she wondered if he would press her for answers.

He hugged her to him and said, "I'll be right here for you, you suffer this here alone." he gritted his teeth and held back a growl at the uttered name. She couldn't be mated or everybody would have smelled it on her. And there would be no way he could possibly attracted so strongly to an already mated woman.

He bit back a groan as her body curled up against his, the writhing urge to claim his mate was getting harder to contain. He needed to leave soon or he'd end up hurting her, that would just kill him.
