Shon F. Barnes

It seems like every post in this thread is on a completely different subject.

We learned, in this election, that when times are bad, we all hurt together. COVID and the subsequent COVID spending inflation hurt everybody equally (even the rich who lost customers). Now, with the election, we return to the Kennedy lesson, the rising tide. Similarly, when crime was considered Racist, one group was hurt disproportionately and when war in the Middle East raged, religion was tarnished and diminished and we reacted politically in interesting ways, but in the center there remained left a hunger for law and order and international peace. It took strong people to stand against the cultural tide and not command it to stop, but to remain stalwart, an anchor point. It takes a leader to unify strong people. We have a leader if we are strong.

YOU made him our candidate by making the guy nobody likes and many hate viscerally, the popular guy.

YOU put him in charge.

Carry on. You can still get JD elected in four more years... You CAN do it.

Or four more.

Or four more after that.

Favors the bold and the bold are prepared.

It starts with The Boy Scouts, but they fell out of favor as did men and chivalry.

I think people want the bathwater back – it may not have been so dirty after all.
