Silly thing heard during the Republican debates

Bachmann aint the messiah.

My crystal ball indicates that Obama is toast if the economy tanks before the election; if not, none of the 7 Dwarfs excite folks enough to defeat him.

The GOP exposed its greedy paws too early, and now it looks like they wont win the Senate.

Silliest things I heard during the debates were the questions.

Hobson's Choices, False Dilemmas, and questions based on false premises. The whole "This or That" schtick was geared to an audience that would sooner watch, and probably mentally on a par with, a "Ms. MTV" contest show. (Or is that "Teen Mothers?" When deviancy is spiraling downwards at such an ever increasing rate it's hard to get ahead of the curve.)

Yeah, thanks to the GOP "greed," Florida's a lock for Obama...

:nods:

Carrie Budoff Brown of Politico reports:
Granted, it was a fundraiser, not a free rally. But the empty seats were hard to miss.

The top level of the 2,200-seat concert hall at the Adrienne Arsht Center for Performing Arts was entirely empty, as were the seats along the side of the second and third levels.
The Obama campaign has a big problem that goes beyond his miserable performance in office. There is no way to recapture the magic of his first campaign for the presidency precisely because it was built on a manufactured image of hope entirely lacking in substance. Compared to reality, that image now seems phony. Like a geriatric rock star, Obama's past haunts his present.

as much as I despised MOO CURRY before, its more so now

on a serious note

Why would anyone consider

it

SILLY

to talk of 23 adopted kids?

or for that matter

about a DOWNS SYNDROME kid?

Oh, I know

To LIBZ, the NUMBER of so called alleged THINGS, that masquerade as a "BABY" and are GOTTEN rid of

IS A BADGE OF HONOR

Which ones?

THEY TOLD ME IF I VOTED FOR JOHN MCCAIN, we’d be bogged down in unpopular, undeclared foreign wars. And they were right! “A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 26% of Likely U.S. Voters feel the United States should continue its military actions in Libya. Forty-two percent (42%) are opposed and 32% are undecided.”

Hey, hey, Barack Hussein — how many kids did you kill today? Well, no. We won’t hear that unless they bring back the draft.

In fairness, they haven't hit her where it hurt Palin most, in her family and private life.

Palin has been punching herself in the eye since day one. You can't shine a turd, but since she's a republican, you're certainly going to give it a shot.

Bachmann Smart, Media Dumb

June 14, 2011 8:27 A.M. By Stanley Kurtz
Seems like only yesterday when Michelle Bachmann was supposed to be dumb. Come to think of it, it was yesterday, until about 8:30pm anyway. I found out how silly it was to think of Bachmann that way late last year, when I heard her speak at David Horowitz’s Restoration Weekend. I was sitting at a table full of professor types. We kept turning to each other and saying, “This woman is sharp, not at all the dunce she’s been portrayed as.”

Liberalism nowadays may be the last great holdout of old-fashioned prejudice. By telling themselves they’re against group hatreds of all kinds, and dismissing their opponents’ arguments as nothing but bigotry in disguise, liberals grant themselves license to despise. They swear, mock, and hate with a clean conscience, never guessing they’re turning liberalism itself into an outpost of bigotry in reverse. The flip side of liberal guilt is this hidden license to hate.

The greatest targets of this wave of liberal bigotry of late have been Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann. By joining the pariah class of conservatives, Palin and Bachmann turn themselves into legitimate outlets for the left’s suppressed prejudice against women. That yields shock when Palin’s emails show her to have been a good governor and an admirable person, or when Bachmann shines in debate.

The liberal mavens of the media have enabled these slurs on Palin and Bachmann. What a pleasure to see these two women expose their tormenters as fools.

it's New Hampshire , dumb ass .
Howard Dean had ZERO Blacks in his administration by the way .
You know what's funny about this? You're citing a charge made by Al Sharpton.

You know what else is funny? You're citing it wrong.

Sharpton meant his cabinet, not the whole administration. (Dean had senior staff that was black.)

Other than that, a fine, fine post.
