Sitting with benefits

It was a perfect little family of four! Only if she was as old as the head of the house. Unfortunately, that was not the case, but she sure as hell played a nice role of a good companion. Perhaps not as good as a role of a companion than the caring individual she was portraying to the two boys. She really was not doing it to get a better tip or anything. All of this, it came naturally to. It was almost as if she’d bonded with the three of them. If felt as if she’s known them for a while now despite this being her second day with the man and first time with the boys.

It was almost too odd but good. At least they were smiling and had a sense of some completeness as they sat sitting at the table. Just when she was done serving, Cam caught her off guard. She knew he was only a child and he was curious. She almost melted right there, coming so close to actually telling him no, that she wasn’t going to be his mommy but he could call her that if he wanted to. Her heart raced but also she tilt her head knowing what these kids might be going through. Even Mr. Havers. She was surprised he hasn’t broken into tears until now.

Forgetting someone wasn’t easy. She messed with his hair and leaned down to kiss the top of his head before she walked around and ran her hand across Mr. Haver’s back, knowing how he was apologetic for what Cam had said. He’s handled the situation well as she squeezed his shoulder just as she walked past him, almost like a consoling touch. Coming to take her seat, she looked up at him, nodding no, mouth the words ‘don’t worry about it’ as she shrugged it off. “But, I can marry you! Such a handsome boy! Tell me, would you marry me, Cam?” she tried to cheer them all up.

Once they were done eating, she helped Mr. Havers in the kitchen while the kids watched some TV. To cheer them up, she was going to go sit with them on the couch but the man sent them to their bedrooms and then possibly to bed. It was quite all of a sudden, turning to look at Malcom sitting at the kitchen table. She wiped her hands and came over when he started to speak to her, coming over to sit in the same chair as she placed her left hand on his right forearm, “Please, you don’t need to apologize. I didn’t feel bad. Besides, he’s a kid. They both are very nice and you have a nice thing going here, Mr. Havers,” she said to him while he poured some wine in his glass. When he asked if she wanted, she tilt her head to the side, shaking her head no, “Um, no. I’ve never…I can’t.” She said to him, being a good girl as she was. “Thank you, for the dinner. It was amazing. I am stuffed and ready to pass out!” she sighed.

Her hand on his forearm was sending shivers through his body, it was a light touch, and yet even through the thin material of his shirt he could feel her warmth, her energy. He gulped down some wine, feeling the alcohol start to have it's effect as he stoppered the bottle after she politely declined his offer of a glass.

"Well, don't pass out quite yet. I am sure the boys would love you to put them to bed ... if that's not to presumptuous of me considering Cameron's early remark. Let them finish their homework, then I let them have an hour of tv or computer games or whatever it is young boys do these days when dad's not around." He chuckled. "Then lights out around 10pm. But ... if you don't mind, maybe ... um, maybe you would like to keep me company after they are asleep?"

Sudden nerves almost swamped him, he felt like he had back in high school asking his first girlfriend out on a date. This was ridiculous, he has not plans for this evening apart from maybe chatting to the lovely girl or watching tv or a movie with her. Totally innocent, and yet he felt his face flush slightly, his pulse quicken, his lips dry as he looked into her eyes ... such gorgeous eyes.

"You don't have to of course, I'll quite understand if you wish me to drive you home, I am sure you have a lot of other more important things you'd rather be doing than hanging around with a man as old as your father."

The young girl was not doing this to tease him or with a motive in her mind, no. She was simply offering empathy to the man who’s lost a lot. His boys, too. Having no idea what her touch was doing to him, she let her warm hand linger on his forearm as she gave it a gentle squeeze before pulling back.

Watching him put away the bottle, she thought how she’d tried beer once. Just once, when she was at one of her friend’s for a sleep over and her father had a whole bunch of beet in his cooler. One missing would not be noticeable as the girls decided to have a sip before another friend of hers finished the whole thing. She wasn’t going to fight over it since she didn’t like how it tasted. Though, she assumed it would pretty much taste the same way, maybe a bit differently, but she also knew she’d have plenty of time to explore.

She smiled at him, leaning on the table as she sat on the edge of her chair, “Oh, no, I was just saying metaphorically. I mean, if I tried going to bed, I wouldn’t be able to fall asleep so early. I usually spend time watching TV or something. Time to be lazy, you know.” She shrugged her shoulders and added, “Yeah, I don’t mind putting them to bed. Don’t worry. I have this under control. If you have something to do…”

She added but then realized how his plans had cancelled out. When he asked, she nodded in response, “Sure, it’s not like I have to be somewhere. That is if you don’t mind me bugging you around and then you having to drop me home late again?” she asked in reassurance. She leaned back in her chair, her chest protruding forward with the pose she’s taken, “But yeah, you kidding me? I rather spend time with you than my father. You are much cooler. Yeah, my father wouldn’t offer me wine…” she shrugged her shoulders, “Just saying, you know.” He would see she was natural, relaxed even though the age gap and able to converse with him with ease, almost about anything and everything.

His eyes couldn't help, again, glancing down at her chest as she sat back. She didn't have the biggest breasts in the world, but she she did have were pushing against the white shirt she wore. But as she spoke he realised something. In the short amount of time they had spent together she had acted far more mature than he had expected. Why he had just realised this he wasn't sure, but it made him look at her with new eyes. He smiled and gestured to the wine bottle.

"Well, if you change your mind it's right there, ok?" He leaned forward now himself, his elbows on the wooden table. "You think I am cool? That's possibly the nicest compliment I have had in ages young lady, thank you. And no, I don't mind dropping you home any time you want and you could never bug me, Selena. Having you here with me ... with the boys is amazing, we feel like a real family again ... if you know what I mean." He didn't want her to think him and the boys alone weren't a family in his mind, but her added spark and light had healed a scar in them. "If you like tv I am sure we can find something to watch, maybe find a movie on Netflix? And of course I will pay you for however long you are here."

He stood, picked up the wine bottle and his now half empty glass and led her into the large living room. He had a 56" wide screen tv hanging on one wall with surround speakers and a high end sound system and stereo. Sitting before it was a large soft white rug on the wooden floor and then a large comfortable looking couch. Several other armchair sat around the room with end tables and a drinks cabinet in one corner. Pictures of the family dotted the walls and mantelpiece above the fire and light was delivered by several soft embedded ceiling lights and a few corner lamps.

"Would you like to watch something now? Maybe listen to some music? I don't know what you prefer music wise, I probably don't have what you kids listen to these days. I am more into 60's and 70's rock myself. Helen loved classical music and I have no description for the racket that the boys listen to in their rooms." He grinned and chuckled.

Selena couldn’t have known to catch him in the act as she was distracted herself as she glanced out to the backyard. The sun’s settled long time ago now, the outside was pretty much pitch black and nothing else. However, when her gaze returned back to him, she furrowed her brows when he gestured at the wine bottle again. She was not afraid that he’d tell her father, no. She knew he wouldn’t. She just wasn’t sure why she didn’t want to try it. Maybe it was because she was full and that taste of his fine meal still lingered in her mouth and she didn’t want to wash it down.

“Thank you, Mr. Havers,” she said to him once more and nodded silly, “Yeah and you deserve that compliment. You’re a nice guy.” She truly believed that, the love he has for his kids and Helen, she could see it in his eyes and demeanor. When he commented that her presence here completes this family, she smiled, not even thinking of them being incomplete without her. It was a nice thing to say and so, she smiled wider, “Yes! Real family. And I am a mommy!” she smiled, recalling Cam’s comment and stood up when he started to move towards the living room, “He’s too cute!”

Selena said as she stood up to follow him, “I’d like that, a movie! It’s much better to watch on your TV than the tiny one in my room. And thanks, but you don’t need to. It’s not like I actually did any work today.” She shrugged her shoulders at him as she moved around the living room, catching all the pictures there while he continued to speak in the background. “Yeah, we can start something now, pause it’s time for kids to go to bed and then resume?” she said as she came over to sit on a large couch with recliners that was right in front of the TV. It was more of a seating for two or three people. “Or music…whichever is fine. As long as you are not getting bored from all this.” She sat with her legs crosses. So young yet classy, mature and understanding.

He stood watching her walk around the living room, a small smile on his face. Helen would have liked her he decided, very much. They had the same warmth about them, the same heart, the same smile that could reassure you, lift you and make you happy because the smile was more than just on her lips, it shone through her eyes as well.

"Don't you think it's about time you called me Malcolm, Selena? After all, you did just stay for dinner." His smile lit up his face as he watched her sit cross legged on the couch. Wine in hand he sat down beside her and reached for the tv control, activating the set and clicking to Netflix and signing in. He sat back and relaxed sipping his wine as the list of shows and movies came up and he glanced at her. "So what would you like to watch? Action? Sci-fi? Comedy? Romance? How are you feeling tonight? Which would go with your mood?"

He again could feel her body heat beside him, he let his eyes trace over her as she looked at the screen. She truly was an angle, in looks and personality and yet she had this physical effect on his body he couldn't deny. Again her closeness fired his blood and he blinked as a sudden desire to lean in and kiss her flashed through his mind. He coughed, took a sip of the wine and tried to settle himself as his face flushed again.

Though Selena was a tiny framed girl, her smile would exude happiness, warmth and genuine kind soul. The smile was infectious but she was not aware of it. Just how she moved about the living room as she twirled and noticed the pictured frames in the living room, he would be able to admire her from far away without making it too obvious.

She technically knew he was looking at her, them being the only two in the room, he had nothing else to look at. So she didn’t find it odd; she just didn’t know with which sort of lustful gaze her looked at her. Turning to look at him with a surprise, quite for a few seconds before she shook her head no, “No, Mr. Havers?” she said and added, “That would be calling my father by his first name.” So far, it was odd for her to call him by his first name, especially with his fatherly figure in her eyes.

When he started to scroll through Netflix, she sat back and rolled her eyes, “Maybe some comedy? I guess. You need to smile more!” she said to him as it’s something she’s observed. “There…there go back up,” she said as she nudged his shoulders when a good funny movie passed by, “Have you seen that one?” she asked and added, “You should watch it. I think you will like it.” She said as she wasn’t keen on watching something new, her goal, though unknowing to her, was to make him smile more.

He laughed at her infectious energy as she told him which movie he should watch. He felt a little sad she refused to address him by his first name, but maybe in time he considered. He read the synopsis of the movie called The Babysitter.

"So the boy stays up late and finds out his sexy babysitter is really part of a demonic cult who want to shut him up?" He looked at her with a raised eyebrow and a smirk. "You're my babysitter ... you're not part of a satanic cult are you, Selena?"

His lips spread into a wide grin at his joke and looked back at the screen. The young actress playing the main role was indeed very sexy, but Malcolm found himself realising that to his mind Selena was far more beautiful and sexy. Maybe it was simply that Selena was real and sitting beside him while the girl on screen was pure fiction. Still, he decided to try to insert a spark of flirting into the night.

"You know, you're much sexier that her. They should of cast you." He nudged her with his elbow to make it a joke, worrying his years of not needing to flirt or tease may well have caused those particular skills to rust.

When he started reading the synopsis of the movie ‘The Babysitter’, she sighed as it wasn’t the one she was referring to. However, she hadn’t see this one so if he wanted to watch this one, she was all up for it. “I’ve seen the trailer. It looks good too!” she said and nodded in agreement.

Trying to pass off an evil grin, she was far too sweet and had too innocent of a face to belong to some satanic cult, “Well, you won’t find out until later! Why ruin the surprise!” She tried to give him an evil eye, completely faking it.

When he nudged her, flirting her by calling her sexy, she scoffed at his comment. It was true, his flirting skills may have rusted a bit but she still got the point. “I know I am. That’s why I am not in there and I am here.” She laughed a bit, “The kids are going to be okay?” She asked just to make sure, “Should we like…check up on them?” she asked curiously.

Malcolm checked his watch. It was probably not a bad idea for them to get an early night in. It would give him more time alone with Selena without the risk of them wandering in. So he nodded.

"Let's go put them to bed then we can relax and watch this masterpiece of a movie." He chuckled and stood helping her off the couch and leading her to the stairs.

He let her go first, more out of instinct to be a gentleman, but as he started up behind her he found his face so close to her jean clad ass. He admired it as she walked, the cheeks of her ass moving under the denim as she walked up the stairs, he gulped and licking his lips again. Finally at the top he led her to a bedroom door that a handwritten sign in crayon stating 'OFF LIMITS!!' ... Cameron's room. Malcolm knocked and stuck his head in.

"Hey champ, homework done?"

He and Selena walked into the bedroom which was a typical young boys mess. Cam was sitting on his bed reading a comic book and looked up as they came in, a smile immediately flashed on his face as he saw Selena.

"Yes, dad, all done."

"Ok, bed time then. You need an early night, you and James have been staying up late lately and don't try to deny it, I see the light on under your doors." Malcolm grinned ruffling his sons hair as the boy moaned in protest, but slipped under the covers as he was already in PJ's. "Selena wanted to say goodnight. I'll go make sure James is ready for bed to, his room at the end of the passage when you're done in here, Selena. Sleep well champ, see you in the morning."

With a smile at his youngest son, Malcolm placed a hand on Selena's shoulder in thanks at her wanting to say goodnight to his boy, then left the room to check on James. Luckily his oldest was already in bed and again reading, although his taste was for The Hobbit, a book his father had lent him a few weeks back.

Looking at him as he watched hi watch, looking at the time before glancing back at her and agreeing to put the kids to sleep. It was like couples, wanting to put the kids to bed so the married couple could spend some quality time together.

Though no married, Malcom definitely wanted some alone time with her and Selena was more than willing to just stick around, for she didn’t want to go home too early. She wasn’t staying because of the money, well that yes, but she was more looking forward to just being away from home. The good thing was that her parents didn’t even bother her while she was out babysitting, opposed to calling her a few times when she’s out with friends.

So yes, it was a free pass for her too. “Yes, let’s do that,” she said to him and walked ahead when he allowed her to pass. Quickly, she moved on the stairs, having no clue how he was able to enjoy his view. It wasn’t the only thing he will get to enjoy, her feminine scent would also be noticeable as he was right behind her. “Let me guess? Cam’s room!” she said and smiled, the very smile turned wider when she saw him on his bed and reading comic.

She let Mr. Havers stand and speak to this son while she took a seat on the edge of the bed. Her hand fixing his comforter as she patted him there, at the same time his father patted her shoulders, “Yeah, sure thing. I will be out.” She said and then turned her attention to the young boy, “You want to tell me what you read in the comic?” She asked as the door would shut behind his father. After about a few minutes with cam, she stepped out of the room when he fell asleep, almost after good 5 to 10 minutes. It wasn’t so bad. She could definitely get used to this.

Once she was outside, she didn’t know which one was James’s room, walking down the hall, she opened a door and found out it was the bathroom. She closed it again and walked further down and opened another door. At first, it was a small hallway so she couldn’t tell how big the room was and if it was his older son’s room. Though, a few more steps in and she realized it was actually the master’s bedroom. It was Mr. Haver’s room and she could tell from the master bed, spacious room, fancy all over and the portraits of him and his wife. She rolled her eyes as she didn’t want to invade the privacy, taking steps back without turning around, she would move probably to exit the room.

Usually Malcolm would come to the boys rooms at night make sure they were in bed, turn off their lights and say goodnight. But as he waited for Selena he could see how tired James was. He stood from where he had been sitting on the edge of his son's bed and reached to turn the light off.

"Sleep well, son. See you in the morning."

And with that he stepped from the room, quietly closing the door and turned in time to see Selena walking out of his bedroom. Rather than be annoyed he smiled and walked towards her.

"Get a little turned around?" He asked when standing next to her. "It's ok, I guess this place is a bit bigger than your house. I have just got used to it ... maybe if you visit more you'll get used to it to. It would be nice to have a woman around the place again." He slipped his arm around her waist, guiding her away from James room and toward the stair. "James is asleep, he was a little tired, so don't worry about saying goodnight to him. I am sure you made Cam's night though."

With a chuckle he guided the young woman down the stairs and they were wide enough he didn't have to remove his arm from her waist as they walked side by side back into the living room. He let her go unwillingly and walked to the drinks cabinet to mix himself a whiskey and soda.

"If that movie isn't what you wanted to watch we can watch anything ... or just sit and talk." He said over his shoulder as he made his drink. He turned finally to look at her. "Can I get you a drink? Coffee? A coke? Juice?"

After realizing she was in the wrong bedroom, she quickly turned on her heels, especially after she heard someone moving outside in the hallway, making her way out to see the tall figure, knowing it could only be Mr. Havers.

Keeping her voice to low and minimum, “Mr. Havers! Yeah, got a little lost. I think that’s your bedroom, right?” She asked for reassurance before nodding at his request, needing no affirmation as they both were headed down stairs. Feeling his hand on her waist, guiding her, she walked with him down the stairs, “Oh good, James too? You would be at ease then. I know it can get tiring with the boys?” she said as a matter of factly.

Once they were on the first floor, his hand continued to guide her and that’s when she first wondered if he was getting too handsy with her. It wasn’t disturbing but odd. She didn’t think on it for too long and finally took a seat on the couch as he gave her options again. Sighing out loud, remembering that he wanted to talk last time…just about life. Shrugging her shoulders at him, she smiled, “Well, I know you we didn’t have much time last time, but I am here now, if you want to talk. Not pushing…” she raised her hands in ‘no offense’ gesture, “So it’s up to you, Mr. Havers.”

"And I will have what you are having!" she said before quickly adding, "hah, I am just kidding. No, thank you, I am good."

"I would like to talk. It's been so long since anyone wanted to listen, I mean really listen ... but I feel you do, you would actually hear me." He looked at her, then making up his mind turned off the tv.

He walked around and sat on the couch, patting the empty space next to him. As she moved to sit next to him he took a swallow of the whiskey and placed the glass on the table next to the couch and sat back, running a hand through his hair, his eyes looking at the ceiling as Selena settled herself.

"Helen was 42 when she died. Cancer. We didn't even know she had it until she started to feel tired all the time. After a few months she decided to go get checked out but by then it was to late. It had spread to fast, to far and was inoperable. The Doctor told us she had maybe two months. In the end she lasted three and died in hospital in her sleep." His voice broke a little at the end and he felt a tear forming in his eye. He gulped and tried to steady himself, casting a glance at Selena, trying to smile. "It hit the boys worse of course, I think that's why the responded to you so positively. But I admit, it's been hard for me too. She's the first thing I think of in the morning, the last thing at night, but she will never be in my arms again."

As he began to speak it was like a floodgate opening. Everything he had been locking away all these months came out as he looked at Selena.

There was some part of her that knew he wanted to talk to her. The last time they were together, it felt as if he was just getting started but the fact they had met for the first time, it would feel odd to open up to a stranger like that. She had definitely noticed in his eyes that night, something that she was beginning to see once again as she looked at him after taking a seat next to him.

Instead of sitting facing the TV, she sat with her right leg bent at knee and her feet grazing the floor. Her right knee would graze his knee while her left knees was facing the back of the couch, sitting facing his side. “Thank you for thinking that, Mr. Havers. I am no expert but I am a good listener…” she shrugged her shoulders.

When he began speaking to her about his wife, she simply nodded, acknowledging that she was listening to him intently and that she was here. When he informed her the time when they’d found out about it, and that it was too late, she reached with her right hand to caress his right forearm. Soon after, she watched him feeling the moment, his eyes getting watery as she whispered, “I know it’s painful, but you are handling the situation very well. The kids as well. You need to be strong….” The young girl comforted him and shook her head no as he paused, “I can’t imagine what you must be going through. The kids have you but you have no one to lean on. It’s hard.” She’d see the bedroom when she’d accidentally walked into the master bedroom.

Everything was a bit mess but the bed was properly made. It was almost as if he hadn’t been sleeping there at all. She didn’t want to press on the matter because she was not sure of it. Maybe it reminded him of his wife. When she felt as if he was about to break into tears, she moved forward, caressing his shoulder with her left now, the right moved to hold his hand, “Please don’t cry, I feel bad for bringing it up. I just felt it was best if you let it out…” she felt responsible now that she saw him in pain.

"No, it's ok. I think I need to let this out. I've been bottling it up inside to long." He managed to say without his voice quivering. He smiled at her even as one tear rolled down his face. He slowly reached out, stroking a loose hair from her forehead, looking at her face. "Your so beautiful, Selena, like her. She would have liked you a lot. She could always see the good in people and was an excellent judge of character. She could listen to, like you. Just sitting with her a person felt they could tell her anything and not be judged. She could manage people without trying, make angry people calm, make sad ones happy ... I don't know how she did it, but watching her you could feel that she could do anything ... anything but stay alive."

Now his walls finally crumbled as the pent up emotions swept them away, his head fell to his chest as he began to sob, heavy tears rolling free now and he didn't bother trying to stop, he doubted he could anyway. And the fact this young girl was sitting watching him fall apart didn't even register as embarrassing. If anything he felt she would support him, be there for him. His eyes came up to look into her's. So beautiful, a man could fall into them and never see light again and be happy for ever. And he could tell she didn't even know she had that power. But he wonder as the years rolled by and she aged if it would be revealed to her. Reaching out again he took her face gently in his hands, a small smile on his lips.

"Never change, Selena, whatever life brings you, never change from the beautiful caring woman you are. You are singular, unique and incredible."

Selena couldn’t agree more. ‘Let it out,’ that’s what she’d say to her friends when feeling down. To bottle it up inside was not the way. It eventually bursts. Besides, it wasn’t a healthy habits as your mind takes on that stress. Don’t the emotions control everything? They say listen to your heart but it is the mind that acts on its place. It’s that inner voice that tells you to do or don’t do something.

Her tiny hands continued to caress the grown man’s hand and seeing him in tears meant nothing to her, as in she wasn’t judging him one bit. It only made her feel he was more of a man to let his emotions out. She could almost feel his pain as her eyes glanced up at him, hearing him speak about his wife, the love of this life. It was hard to get over it, that’s for sure.

When his hand came up to push the strands off her face, she smiled, lighting up the room as she tilt her head, “Aww, thank you. And you mark my words, things will get better. You will find someone else.” She said and leaned forward to wipe his tears with her right hand before stretching her arms for him, wanting to give him a hug, “I think you need a hug! I think that’s what Helen would do?” She smiled cheekily as she gently rose on her knees, considering the man still sat taller than her. She had no idea if he had tried dating, maybe another woman in his life may change things, but he certainly hadn’t moved on yet.

Moving into the hug he laid his head on her shoulder, her hair cascading around him, the scent of her overpowering, not her fragrance, just her natural wonderful scent. His arms slipped around her back, holding her to him. His eyes closed as the hug deepened and the tears began to stop. He caught his breath. He could feel her body in his arms, slim, toned, youthful, her chest pushed into his, her head on his shoulder as his was on hers. His hands began to slowly caress her back, feeling the bra strap beneath her white shirt. Slowly, having collected himself a little he gently pushed her back so he could see her face. A flickering smile flittered across his lips, a smile of hope, need, but also showing he was vulnerable right now. His hand cupped her face as his eyes examined each and every inch of it, utterly amazed how beautiful this girl in his arms was. Almost as if he was on auto pilot, as if something inside him was controlling him, he slowly lowered his face to hers, his eyes fixing on her gorgeous full lips, his eyes slowly closing and then their lips touched and he kissed her as his hands again slipped around her to hold her close.

It wasn’t just a simple hug. Selena’s slender frame moved into his, not holding back in his moment of need. She could feel he was at his weakest and seeing him like that, she couldn’t hold back but be there for him. Especially when he gave her so much important, involved her in his family and his kids almost wanted her as their mommy.

The point being, she felt connected. Finding his warm breath on her shoulder as they were small but carried his face, at the same time, hers landed on his. Her small hands barely were able to wrap around him but wherever they landed, she stoked him there, caressing him to quiet down. The sole purpose was to comfort him, and comfort him she did. His hands stroked her back over the thin fabric of her shirt, over the straps of her bra and back down.

When he gently pushed her back, she was almost an inch away from his face but levelled with his as she had to slightly support her weight on her left knee and right foot. She smiled softly when he cupped her face, watching him look at her face as she found it a bit odd, yet she did not stop him. She hoped he wasn’t finding his wife in her. However, when he moved into her, she simply froze. She could have backed away but couldn’t, finding his lips on hers as he kissed her. His hands slipped around her once again as her hands moved over his arms and to his shoulders. Slowly but gently, her grip tightened on his broad shoulders.

The kiss deepened as Malcolm let other suppressed emotions come out. His sexual needs had been ignored for many months now and having this gorgeous young lady in his arms was to much. Over the last few nights she had teased him without knowing, being totally innocent to how she made him feel, but he had still felt it whether innocent or not. He had felt it growing and now his lips pressed to her, his hands glided down her back to the top of her jeans, then down cupping her wonderful taut ass cheeks as he felt her hands on his shoulders. His lips left her momentarily as he took in a deep breath.

"Selena ... god, I need you so much right now." He whispered in a deep husky voice before kissing her again.

His mind was a ball or cotton wool. No logical thoughts existed, his body was responding and acting on pure animal instinct and need. A small part of him at the back of his brain was screaming to stop, that this was wrong, but the moment had pushed way past caring.

Selena could feel the man’s lips on her, suckling gently on her lower lip specifically as his upper was between hers. She wasn’t kissing back as she was caught off guard, yet she couldn’t manage to pull herself off.

She knew he was holding onto her tiny frame but she could have easily stopped him or break the kiss now, yet she didn’t. The need he had for her, or any woman, it was evident. She liked to believe he didn’t need her, he just needed a woman. It could be anyone, someone, whomever but her. How can it be her?- she wondered, since she was so young and he was almost three times older than her.

When he paused, she had few moments to spare, catching her breath and come out of the shock. However, his words fell on her ears and she melted once again. However, before she could react, she found him kissing again and this time, it was merely for few seconds as she tried to get his attention by patting on his shoulders. When that failed, her hands moved to cup his face, pulling and peeling him off, “We….we can’t. Mr. Havers. This is wrong…” she said and felt his grip loosen a bit. Maybe it didn’t, but she was able to move a bit and so, she quickly moved to sit facing the TV. What would be really wrong is if there was Mrs. Havers. She knew it, yet it was wrong. Nodding her head no, she looked back at him, “God…we shouldn’t be doing this. Wh. What were you thinking?” She stood up as she stood facing him, almost as him demanding answer or an explanation.

He sat, looking up at her, face flushed, unable to speak, her taste still on his lips, the feel of her body, her warmth still tingling through him. But the look in her eyes is what snapped him out of it and his expression changed form confusion to abject apology.

"Oh, God ... Selena, I'm sorry." He raised his hands, clasped together as if begging her. "I don't know why I did that, I didn't mean ... I wasn't ..." His words were stumbling as he felt embarrassment start to turn to humiliation.

What had he done! What if she told her parents, what if she told her friends?! He would be finished. He wouldn't be surprised if her parents didn't try to have him arrested for molesting their innocent daughter. It wouldn't go down in history as much of a molestation, but he doubted they would see it that way, but more importantly he had wrecked his budding friendship with this extraordinary young woman. He slowly stood, but that just made him tower over her and placed him close to her again so he quickly stepped back to put space between them, almost falling over the couch he was so scared.

"I just got lost in the moment. Please .... forgive me?"

Kiss was sensuous and deep. Though it only lasted for very short amount of time, Selena found the kiss to be perfect. Only if it was some young boy kissing her. But then again, she knows how they kiss, she’s been in a relationship or two. So the kiss wouldn’t have been same.

Whether she liked it or not was the issue, he was a lot older and the father of the kids she was here to babysit. Her mother knew him. So there was a risk she was taking. However, if she decided to ignore who was kissing her, she would find herself kissing him back. She turned around, “Maybe I should leave…” she said as if talking to herself. When he started with an apology, she couldn’t only feel it in his tone of voice or words but the way he looked up at her. His apology was sincere and it could be the bit of alcohol’s doing.

She could feel the tangy taste of alcohol on her lips now, running her hand through her hair as she sighed, “Look, I am not mad. I am not angry. You are a nice guy and I feel your pain. I see you are in a lot of pain, Mr. Havers. I wish I could do something to help you.” Selena was exhausted, not knowing what to do as a 45 year old male just kissed her.
