Six degrees thread ... rebooted

OK, so it didn't take long to identify a couple more I know ... one of which I figured I'd find out who the actress was who played in the role, and find out it's the real person who has done a little acting.

Did not know that.

OK, I've identified all the people I would do a facepalm with except the woman in green ... and still there are 7 I don't know.

Well...dagnabbit.

Here are some clues:

- The first girl had a major role in a movie with the SLA member...and recently killed someone with her car.
- her first name is the same as the last name of one of the Chicago 8
- Her son saw dead people.
- Her husband is an Indy Car racer.
- Her last name sounds like a gangster's girlfriend.
- Her Oscar win came from playing Christy's mum
- An aussie (that's why she's wearing green) who mostly plays Americans, for example, Dennis Quaid's wife.
- Her namesake should have said, "No, shit, Sherlock."

- Christy
- He's not really a skinhead, he just starred as one in the movies.
- Earl's brother.
- He and his hunky brother started off as singers/rappers. Now they're both actors.
- Ahnold's best little friend and Sara's son.
- Threw the pitch which signaled that the fix was in for the world series.
- He received the chocolate covered pretzel from Brodie which made him ill.
- His last name is the type of wood which causes a lot of smoke

OK, I definitely would not have gotten the first woman without a clue:

Amy Locane was in Cry-Baby with Patty Hearst

I had decided Patricia Hearst must be last on the list.

I didn't know Australians had to wear green. Interesting.

I had worked through most of it with a bunch of work, but never would have found the first picture if it weren't for the clue. It wasn't on the first 150 or so pics I found of her.

I still haven't figured out:

- Her namesake should have said, "No, shit, Sherlock."

- He and his hunky brother started off as singers/rappers. Now they're both actors.

I'm glad you got the others, though.

So...if Sherlock Holmes said to someone..."Elementary, my dear man." Which character should have said, "No shit, Sherlock."

The hunky bro of this actor was also an underwear model, prolly cuz how he filled in the briefs. not that I looked, I just heard.

I don't think they have to, it's just that green and yellow are their national colors - at least on the national sports level.

As far as the clues ... the clues for the very initial pic was a big help. As I said, Patty Hearst has been in so few movies, and I found only the next link, not the first one. (Well, I saw it, and had looked, but didn't see this picture in the first set of batches, so I said "nope, not her...")

Oh, I'm a big Sherlock Holmes fan, have been for years and years. I got the reference immediately, but can't figure out the actress this applies to. I am assuming we are not talking about an actress named John.

OK, forget it, I found her. I even looked at her earlier, but didn't see this picture, so I said -- no, just looks like her.
