Some of us suffer from impotence that ED drugs can't fix. I've published a few stories with this as a feature, from my comeback after surgery (She Tastes like a Peach) to the recent The Black Cloud, which now has two chapters. If you are interested, there is also His Last Time?, a little darker take on it(but with a HEA payoff).

But this is not just about self-promotion. This thread is about the fact that even those for whom conventional sex is contraindicated, intimacy still matters.

The germ of the idea is about a REAL Mature story - two seniors in a retirement home who hook up beause they miss the warmth of another body beside them in bed. Maybe one is doivorced, the other widowed? i'm not sure. Like
i said, just a seed, not yet sprouted.

I don't see the story fitting in the Non-erotic wateland, because in my mind it could be very sensual (though i'm not sure that I could do it justice, so if you can, grab the idea).

But in the Mature category, does this have to lead to sex of some sort?
If so, what sort?
How much sex is enough sex if the theme is supposed to be more about intimacy than orgasms?

I can imagine two oldsters, still enjoying the intimacy of being naked in bed, touching each other erotically.
Yeah, perhaps the man can't get erect anymore, but maybe he can still orgasm. It could be entirely oral which is still very satisfying.

Two very old people, way too old to fuck, but still love cuddling and touching. And watching. They convince two young people to have sex while they watch, and the youngsters call each other by the old farts' names so they can pretend they are watching themselves.

Well, a slight addition to what @Carnevil9 said...(without the "old fart" comment)

The body can't do it, but the mind can. So the older couple direct the younger couple, control their movements and actions to feel more a part of the passion they are watching while they are touching each other.

I really like that idea. I hope you write the story and post the link. I think you can be erotic and sensual without PIV. Perhaps take it in the direction of what's going on in each person's mind. I did something similar with my flash fiction story Fragments - First Love posted in the lesbian sex category
