it's a new NBC drama starting in the fall on wednesday nights (WW's old time slot maybe?)... dennis hopper plays the head of something or other in the E Ring of the pentagon where all the really covert spy shit and international threat resolution happens.

there's some shit about it here. nbc's site has a video that my poor little dialup connecton would have a stroke over.

oh... and it's a jerry bruckheimer production... that goes a long way in my book.

EJ, if you're looking for more to watch, i recommend watching the shield. absolutely fantastic. i know i raved about it a few months ago, but season 1-3 are available on DVD now.

it's been on for three seasons already?!?!?!! i had no clue.

i'm not looking for more to watch... i just switched over from cable to directv (sans dvr) so my video taping ability has been cut in half. the truth of the matter is that as long as i get to see "west wing" and cnn, i'm pretty content.

if i have the time and it works, i'll prolly watch survivor, E Ring and a couple of other shows just because i like to have an hour or two of mindless entertainment from 8-10pm-ish (see my post in the "besides the west wing" thread).

plus, if you read my "buy a bike" thread, you'll see that i'm contemplating the conversion to a car-free lifestyle quite seriously. one of the key factors there is minimizing or eliminating tv. the computer, on the other hand, is a necessity as it's how i earn my living... and let's face it... where would i be without LIT????
