No way does Vinnick win this. If they were going to cancel the show, they would have done it after the first ep of season five and spared the diehards the cluster they got with the rest of that. S6 was better, but still not up to the Sorkin days. Dammit.
If Vinnick wins they'll have to cancel TWW, repackage it and bring it out under a different title. What viewers they may pick up in the shuffle won't overcome the loss of the fans who won't follow a whole new crew into a new show. (Me. Everyone else I know IRL who watches the show.)
Besides, Alan Alda has said repeatedly - even a few months ago - that he will never do another TV series. This means cameos only for the new prez, leaving the bulk of avx airtime to his staff.
Uh, anybody know anything about his staff?
