So... Anyone ever grow a pineapple?

.
I used to come here for the pineapple, but now I'm here for those boots.

"215 🧡's and still counting. RIP. 🐢🏝 "

I have no idea what the boxes are supposed to be. Can't you just use words?

Are you talking about the bodies at the school? If so, you're off by quite a bit.

But this thread is about Marsha and Jan, no?

I only came over to say I had my first zucchini from my garden today :p

You can check code? You're awesome. :D
I think he meant my signature line. Hopefully better now (?)

Sigs?! Wow - unchecked that option on day one
But yea - emoticons break the internet

I love this thread. Marsha is beautiful and the boots are adorable. :)

Thank you. :) :rose:

But are you as excited as I am about my dry socks?

Adrina, you can get that make of wellies with pineapples on!

The Evil Amazon did not have the ones with pineapples but I looked them up and I gotta say they really should be bigger pineapples. Those are kinda small. If I were a pineapple I'd look at those tiny ones and say "hey, wtf, I'm a pineapple!"

I also liked the basic red ones but they did not have them in my size. I think the pink tie dye ones were meant to be.

Zucchini bread.

Ants in my plants

I'm finally repotting the azaleas. They had ants in them. It made me unhappy. So they got a soaking in insecticidal soap water. Diatomaceous earth was applied for their replanting.

*thinking about ants, and their ranch of aphids on your plants*

I have seen just one honey bee, this summer.

This thread would really pick up if you posted your tits. Like, hold a potted plant while topless......just a thought. :D

Adore the London Fogs and Marsha is impressive. I don't know anyone who has attempted to grow their own pineapple. Also a very healthy Marigold.
What climate/zone are you in?

I'm thinking of my own flower garden. Lol. My peonies do super super well. Spanish lavender too. But. Got a Limelight Hydrangea like two years ago and it is sad. I mean. So sad. I've tampered with the soil, etc etc. Possible it was just a lemon, and will try again with another, but if you or anyone else have any tips, please, do tell.

Florida - subtropics. I haven't grown hydrangeas for years - they don't grow down here. I know hydrangeas like shade and you can change the color of the flower by changing the pH of the soil. That's about it. :D

The Mutant Zinnia...

I planted her from seed - I forgot to plant them last year so I said, what the heck give it a try, see what I get. Well, I got something alright. Three seeds popped. So far the other two have not matched their big sister. They're about 6 to 8 inches tall. We'll see what they do as the summer progresses.

While I'm not the tallest, 5'7" isn't considered short. She's past mid thigh and getting taller still.
