So... Anyone ever grow a pineapple?

And why exactly are your melons in the front yard???

I'm sure there's a perfect smart ass answer out there somewhere, but the truth is that's where the best sun is where I have water ran.

I figured you were just showing them off to the neighbors.

:)

Sun and water makes sense too.

You've been hacked!!!

Don't feel; bad. I looked out at the peach tree the other saw and saw a fat and happy squirrel cheerily chowing down on fresh peaches.

It was my only cantaloupe. Going to get netting next time. Watermelon seeds can be planted in August. I'm going to try again.

.
Well that's a damn shame.

Hopefully Marsha's thick skin is enough of a deterrent to avoid a repeat of that travesty.

Any idea what got at it???

.
I couldn't really tell from the picture, but it seemed like a lot of the cantaloupe was still left. I'm surprised it wasn't totally devoured .

Maybe it wasn't ripe and gave the perp a belly ache.

It would serve them right.

:D

There are raccoons in the area. I've seen them scamper on the back patio at night sometimes. It might have gotten sick as there was some animal vomit in my rose bed that I had to wash away.

It sounds like some small slice of justice was served,..........along with your cantaloupe.

:D

.
What????

No new pictures of Marsha????

Now I'm worried.

I need proof of life. A picture of Marsha with today's newspaper in the frame will suffice.

TIA

:D
