So I'm in New York.

Nobody seems to understand my accent here. Dash it and hang it all.

My brother tried to get me to see a show. Then he told me about some great movies playing here. Then he said I should visit some galleries. Then he remembered who he was talking to, and showed me how the internet connection in his apartment worked and left me to enjoy my vacation.

Actually, I really, really :heart: NY.

And I'm just goofing off in the apartment becuase I know my brother is going to take me out so much I'll need to conserve my energy. But I refuse to see that new Eric Idle show. It's food, booze and music for me. The fact that this apartment is one block from the red light district is a bit annoying and distracting, frankly. All those flashing neon ladies make it hard to sleep at night.

That's jet lag. You can't see it, but it's all skyscrapers outside the window. I don't get them back home. You probably don't either. They have something called traffic here. It's when a lot of cars honk their horns and the drivers curse in Albanian to each other.
 
How long are you staying? Hopefully, the grey sky will clear up soon.
