Southern Bells

So glad to have a kitchen faucet again. And I swear the people at Lowe's are almost as funny as the peope of Wal Mart - although I do love a guy in overalls with no shirt - mmmmm hmmmmm - lol...

Of course no rain so got some quality pool time in - more freckles for me!!!

And the best conversation with a friend back home - dang I love that Southern drawl y'all - and ma'am..... oh yeah - I was melting....

Isn't it nice to know that there are still people with manners? Seems like certain areas of the south have the politest people in the country.

We're finally getting the rain that our drunk weatherman may or may not have predicted.
 
I will always love people with manners. My mom was the typical Southern woman and I was taught yes ma'am and no ma'am and yes sir and no sir... and to this day I still say it. Some of my patients get a kick out of - especially when I use that accent....

No rain for us - not even thunder - some clouds but no rain.
 
I love it when a lady does a double take because I held a door or said "y'all" or "ma'am" to her.

I can see them thinking. Too bad I can never set the hook.

Who am I kidding? They're mentally crossing me off of the list of available men that they would sleep with.

Too bad they don't look me up here; I give good prose. :D

I would be happy to offer my opinion. Where would I find this prose? And I've been told I give good chat - but again - maybe they were just being generous and kind.....
 
Hope all is well this am in the great state of TX! GA is alive and kickin' this am, 'cause I got a busy day planned.
 
Well since I haven't been outside the A/C yet, I wouldn't know how hot it is here. But soon off for church, lunch with friends, bridal shower, and then out to dinner with family for hubby's birthday.....have a great one and stay cool.
