Once when I was in college I took this really pretty girl on a hike to a mountain stream. We, um, had some fun swimming in these deep, dark pools. My shoes and clothes were up on this sun-drenched boulder. So we climb back up after a while, and the girl knocks my shoes off--plop! into the water. I was only able to find one of them. So I had to hobble back all the way to my truck. I guess that's the price for sweet memories...

Honestly, I do that often. Where I live I can take a dip in a stream, under a waterfall anytime the mood hits.
Great story - some of the best memories are laced with a few mishaps. Lol

Morning Y'all - TGIF and in a big way. Been a tough busy work week and plumbing problems at home.....

And hopefully these rains will go away so I can get in some pool time this weekend.

And ummmm - yeah - drinks are in order by the pool.... it's my pool and my rules.....

Oh darlin - don't be shy. I promise I'll be on my best Southern manners and not look - ;)

And there is something about having a drink on the veranda while the dew is still fresh - isn't there? lol.... I sound like my daddy.....

And looks like rain today - dang Florida weather - so monopoly or yahtzee inside.........
 
What are you looking at? I haven't seen a drop. But then, I'm here stalking ladies and drumming up business.

OK, so Danny Tranor is hard to watch in the morning since I think he drinks a lot, but there was a sufficiently rosy forecast that my two female friends went to the beach.
 
omg - Danny Treanor - lol.... he'll give you any forecast you want for a six pack. I remember his comments during the hurricane season - told us not to worry that we were not in the way - 3 hurricanes and 3 weekends later.

And surprisingly - there is some sun here but only for a little while at the time - then clouds.

I was out at Lowe's for a kitchen faucet and now waiting for the plumbing guy. I think I'll jump in the pool real quick.

These days I only go to the beach for a sunrise/sunset - too many things in that water - lol...
