Hell, Sparky's not that bad at all...
I opened up an innocent looking thread titled "Geez" by Mistress today and was confronted with a picture of a breathing abortion. I'd rather hear about Sparky's bowel movements any day.

I was thinking of starting another thread for this, but why load up the BB with more Sparky related nonsense? Here's my suggestion:
Lets take up a collection and buy Sparky a nice long vacation - somewhere without internet access... I've been worried about him lately - all this posting and thinking he has got to be stressed out and probably flirting with carpel tunnel syndrome as well. Its the least we can do for him...

Sparky has stopped bothering me for a couple reasons.
(I think it's safe to say I have NOT mellowed, so don't even try to argue that.)
Sparky MAY post a whole bunch of threads each day, but they are not "Hi" threads. The threads that irritate me to sin are usually titled something like:
BOB
And they usually contain the following type of posts:
Post #1: Hi.
Post #2: *grin* Hi.
Post #3: *giggle*
Post #4: You're so funny.
In the WORST days of SHeeP grazing, there would be 3 to 5 posts labeled "BOB" 3 to 5 more labeled "SALLY" and a half dozen or so tossed in with titles like "OMG" "Have You Ever..." and "WOW!"
Sparky might wiggle his butt for attention and play the fool, but when you see a post labeled "Boy, does my shit STINK" there isn't a lot of mystery as to what will be inside. And, it is easy as PIE to skip over it.
He clearly labels his self-indulgent banter, and even though it is BANTER it is not utterly SENSELESS banter. He rarely stars a thread that just says "Hi" (although he might do so now, just to spite me). Usually there is something in there to shock you, amuse you, offend you, or converse with you, no matter how trivial.
Unlike the KR1 abortion, he doesn't base his shock-humor-nonsense on malicious attacks. He is just gross to be gross, offensive to be offensive, etc. He might show a spike of jealousy from time to time over the fact that someone else is taking the spotlight off his hammy butt, but he’s not hateful about it. At least I haven’t seen him be hateful.
ALL of these reasons make him significantly less irritating now, than my first impression of him led me to believe.
Moreover, if I will defend Sparky on any one issue (am I really DEFENDING SPARKY? Hell, I need a nap...) it is this: he does NOT play the fool and THEN turn around and preach peace love and happiness.
He’s less hypocritical than almost anyone on this board – I think even including me. He makes no bones about it.
Sparky can act like an egomaniac, but then he’s the first one to say, "Yep, I'm an ego maniac." He doesn't spew malignant crap and then post about Care Bears and peace, love, and happiness.
I can't say I enjoy all of Sparky's posts, but they have long since ceased irritating me. In his own morbid little way, he's pretty considerate about things. He doesn't try to pull any underhanded playground intrigues. He just says "Hi, my name is Sparky, and I'm an ass. Take me or leave me. Speaking of asses…"
