I know that my post is lame, but it is really the best I can come up with at the moment. Still a bit fried out after writing up a storm yesterday :)

If I recall correctly, I was supposed to be a high tech commando bodyguard for a scientist. Something biotechy had gone out of control on some remote science station. She was to go in and deal with it, I was to protect her and make sure nothing got out.

I intentionally left Grundy's actions vague. Wanted to give you a chance to get some shots in. Figured you would definitely be able to land some hits, and Grundy might even have landed one or two back, but ultimately, the symbiote is faster than Grundy and it is sort of like watching boxers, a lightweight and a heavyweight of equal skill going at it. The heavyweight is used to taking much harder shots and isn't likely to fall anytime soon, but the lightweight is faster and is going to be harder to squash than the heavyweight might think. Of course this is one of the few times when Venom ould qualify as a lightweight lol. But yeah. Grundy is nigh invulnerable, and has near superman level strength. Imagine if he were a little smarter. Maybe next time.

I didn't really intend that ShadowPax' injuries would parallel Ollie's.

But I think it's a nice dovetail, in retrospect.
 
I had this really cool post written up this afternoon, about to post it and then my internet went down and I lost everything, so the piece of crap placeholder I just posted will have to do for now, because technology sucks donkey ass.
 
Yeah I know how you feel Nevyn. Been posting a lot from my phone due to work. Lost a couple that way.

In any case, your current post did the job and did it decently well, I would hardly call it a piece of crap.

Meanwhile, has anyone heard from Wombat?

We haven't had a post from Static in a couple pages and I worry-- tangled knot of self-consciousness that I am --that I did something to put him off. :/
 
Sorry I've been 'absent' myself everyone. Aside from the holidays, I caught the *sickness* that's been going around as well. So wrestling with that fun jazz -- hate this time of year, could only hold out so much I suppose with a sick wife and so many others I was exposed to the flu/cold! -- but I'm looking to catch up this week with a Bart post!

And looks like I've got some good 'reading material' to bury myself in, huh? You guys are quite devoted writers if nothing else! :)
