Star City- The Heroes of Tomorrow OOC

Actually, there's two OOCs and two ICs now.

"Beyond Star City" is where the magic happens.

You've got some reading to do.

I have seen it before. I can't remember where. But if I remember correctly it was a proof of concept.

Yeah it was a bit from a pilot that never got shot, a few years ago. No one ever did anything with it. I came across it in my research of the Beetle.

I like my grown-up version of Jaime and Khaji better. :D

Younger Jaime definitely has a special place in my heart.

But I also love yours. His spirit is definitely in keeping with the world we're making.

Just saw Stephen Amell, sitting ring side on Tonight's Monday Night Raw, and having a slight confrontation with the wrestler Stardust.

Okay, Lachy.

Supergirl is fighting Rose's dad, who's Dialed a super-scary superspeedster.

I was thinking that on their run together, Bart and Constant-C would see the fight on live TV and that Rose would recognize her dad and run to join the fight, and that maybe Bart would run after her. Maybe they could help Supergirl together?

What do you think?
:))))

Kara is special's, so that would be fun, for sure!

Uhm...posting wise. I'm probably looking at my next set of days off(next Mon/Tues) to get a Bart passage out by the way. Hopefully that works okay with you, and lovely Rose!

I'm certainly looking forward to that though -- it should be lots of fun to have that speed pitch in the post, between the two characters....and the forthcoming one, as you say, that her father might have taken! Oh the thrills, danger....and what a way to 'bond', then meeting a psycho-killer-dad on that first meeting, huh?

....i hope my character is prepared(for the 'big leagues')! I'll be concerned about Rose's emotional pathway, admittedly though....*gulp's?*

Did I braked it? You all must be busy with those silly things called 'real lives'. Humans are strange.

I have a rough draft of the first round of a Supergirl/"Savitar" fight in my PMs, but the pacing's coming out all wrong, need to rewrite.

Gonna try and post for Black Alice in "Beyond" in a few and then take another crack at Kara v. Grant.

Hey, if you're nervous about Bart doing an end run with the big guns, we totally don't have to. It was one thought how the storyline could go, but it's not the only thought.

I just figured, Chris had been quiet for six weeks, time to thrust him back into the spotlight. But it doesn't have to intersect with Bart, as such. Hell, he could talk Rose out of running over there if you wanted.

It would be pretty epic, though, having all that speed happening in one fight...

...but if Bart's in the wrong place in his arc for it, then by no means do I want to shoehorn him into a role he's not developed for.

Can't blame him for trying to set fire to the herpetology wing. If I could destroy a next of arachnids, I would gladly do the jail time for it. Evil creatures.

It's kind of hilarious to me that Indy would try to wipe out his greatest fear using J'onn's. Kind of telling.

For the record, for those of you who haven't been writing with me for nearly a decade, the conceit of suggesting that one of J'onn's guises is Indiana Jones actually belongs to AmenRa, who has done this with his version of the character in the universe of "Last Daughter of Krypton." Given that AmenRa also originated this version of the character before having to bow out, I thought I'd pay feeble tribute to that by revisiting the theme.

I think that's awesome!

..but..does that mean...Mister "AmenRa" is NOT coming back to this thread, by any chance?? :(

Maybe the best bet will be, to "see how my next post shapes up" kinda thing? I tend to do that a lot. Go with the flow, the momentum, the moment. Sure, a lot of times I have an idea of what I might want to accomplish going in, but until I'm actually there...and ready...to write. I cannot be entirely sure. Y'know? *offers her a lil' smile*

I appreciate your willingness to allow me to...have the choice, for either-or scenario. And like I said, I'm sure it would be fun.

...so, at the least, let's hope to see. And see to hope, 'kay? :)

I'm going to bank on Tuesday as to getting my Bart on! And I know it'll be more about the post after your next one that is what we're referencing(probably?)....like you say, it doesn't hurt to get on the same page and brainstorm a lil'...

...either way, I'm sure I can Bart-it-up as in necessity, Miss "ChasNicollette"! ;)

...hopefully I got that terrible typo before you saw it!

Doh!

AmenRa will always be welcome here, if he feels the desire and ability to return. And I sincerely hope he does.

That's partly why I'm writing J'onn as close to his work as I can manage, so it wouldn't be contradictory if he did come back-- but if he doesn't, his voice and presence will still be felt, which is as it should be.

Oh, it was always a choice. Always always. An opportunity, but one that could be turned down. I wouldn't want to harsh on Bart's fine, bubbly optimism!

But I'm always excited about chances to weave arcs together, so I wanted to at least ask you if you were interested. Going with the flow sounds very Max Mercury, and I wholeheartedly approve.

Doh!

I have no idea what you mean, dearie-duck. So I'd call that a win!

But just because I'm super-fastidious about my own typography, doesn't mean you have to be. I'm totally cool with writing with people who can't spell that well, or for whom English is a second language, what-have-you. I'm super-obsessed with my grammar and spelling and so forth because writing in English is my only real skill, but I still make plenty of mistakes.

I'll give people shit for improperly punctuated trademarks, like taking the aforediscussed hyphen out of "Spider-Man" or putting a period in "Dr Pepper," but we're all only human here.

(Okay, I'm a ghost, but I'm the ghost of a human.)
