Star Wars

Sha'ara

I know Ronag is concerned about me. He feels a great responsibility toward getting me trained. I admit that I do need to be trained, since I lack the fighting ability of my family before me. Suddenly I feel the weight of the entire Universe lying on my shoulders. I place my hand on Ronag's shoulders and tell him, "Don't worry about my eyesight, I am fine. Just make me the best fighter that you can. If I am the last Skywalker then we'd better make the most of it."

Orias B - the Emperor's Palace on Sithius

"Intriguing" the Emperor mused, "very well, Darth Ganor, we shall see... Admiral Thorne! Order the search detail in the Jedi Temple to proceed to the area Ganor here has indicated... the 'tavern'... disable the planted explosives for the time being..."

He turned back to Ganor. "And the death star is almost complete, you say? Excellent. The rebels have found one in the past to be a grave threat... but two..."

"Two?" Ganor asked, as he sat down again.

"Why yes, Darth Ganor. This system houses not only one of the largest Stormtrooper cloning facilities of the Empire, but one of the largest Imerial Shipyards also. You think I have been 'digging in the dirt' all this time? I have been preparing... as I said, the Imperial space fleet is at a new height... and that includes a new death star of my own".

Farlo

"Neat" I said, with a grin. The others threw me a look, like I was reducing this remarkable teleportation thing down to one word. Tawain frowned at me, and I slapped him on the back cheerfully.

"Well, it is!" I laughed, "now, lets take a look around..."

The settlement consisted mostly of small, squat buildings, but from the numerous antenna and dishes that topped them, this was obviously not some native alien settlement. A larger building stood at the centre, and appeared to be a hanger bay of some kind.

"Looks like we might have hit paydirt" I said, as a small group of green-skinned, pig-faced guards approached.

"What human do here?" one gruffly spoke, "Nrada the Hutt not want visitors".

Tawain

Tawain tried hard not to stare.
Oh my God, not a Hutt!

"This could be trouble" h murmured to Farlo before sidling over to Zen and whispering to him
"Zen, are you sure this is a good idea? Shouldn't we rather try somewhere else?"

ooc: interesting twist, Kepic!

Sha'ara

I come up behind Farlo and Tawain. I wrinkle my nose in distaste. "Hutts.. not too far off ... I can smell 'em and it ain't pretty."

I motion with my head for them to follow me, "This way."

Farlo and Tawain look at each other and Farlo just shrugs, "This new attitude of hers is kind of fetching."

Tawain just sighs and walks off after me.

Zen

I put my hand up to perform the old jedi mind trick "We must see Nrada the Hutt about parts for our ship. Nrada will see us about this and you will take us."

The one that seemed to be the leader of the group told the others "We will take them to see Nrada the Hutt about the parts they need. Come with us." With that we began to follow them as I turned to the others and warned them to be prepared for the worse incase the Hutt is of a strong mind...

ooc: Renegade darling... I'm soooo sorry sweetie... look... if no one else will have ya I'll give you a little tumble so to speak... [winks]... you just think of a way to arrange it... [ggls]... just be warned though... I'm having a lot of fun being the bad girl so I might have to kill you straight afterwards... [lol]... oh... and sorry I bailed on the x-men thread... it was getting a bit hard to follow and my time is severely limited at the moment... damn... and i almost got you in that one too... [grins].

Indika... why thank you darlin'... that is most kind of you to say... however, may I add that the admiration is mutual. You really are quite talented yourself... [smiles]

IC: Silver watched the Emperor and Ganor carefuly. She could sense a little shift, just ever so slight. It seemed that the Emperor was revealing more of his hand than Ganor was. Ganor... he was starting to intrigue her. Why had he returned? After what the Emperor had told her... she expected that he was on his was to destroy the Rebel's himself.

She picked up the chalice before her and sniffed the contents. Checking for poison. She had no real trust in the Emperor yet, there was no reason for him NOT to harm her until she felt she had some bargaining power. She sipped the beverage carefully letting the taste of it coat her tongue before she swallowed carefully. She felt Ganor's eyes on her but didn't return the glance. She sighed softly... drawing the Emperor's attention.

"So... if we are to have no fireworks M'Lord... what will be the following entertainment... it seems I have done nothing but work thus far..." She glanced up at him her clear blue eyes not flinching from his penetrating gaze back at her.

OOC

Moneytalks said to Renegade:

-------------------------------------------------------

Ahhh... hell, if it will prevent the untimely demise of a great Jedi Master... then maybe I should try working you into my busy schedule. *checking my appointment book* Hmm... well, let's see I've got Tawain from 9-9 on Saturday - he likes to spend hours, you know, that whole Tantric Sex thing... *sigh*... and then for the rest of the week I'm scheduled for several appearances around the universe saving planets from certain destruction by Imperial Forces ... and then on Friday Farlo is scheduled from 8am - 12, then I've got a break while he gives flying lessons to the YMCA kids, and then he will spend the rest of the day with me from 3-11. How do you feel about Sunday? Will that work for you? You know it's really tough being as self sacrificing as I am!! *wink*

Ooc: I leave for one second, and look what happens. Sex schedules... we're gonna have a problem here. lol Thanks for being subtle everyone, lol.

Ronag

He stooped down, picking up a small stone.
"I am going to throw it in the air, keep it there..."
Sha'ara cocked her head, and nodded.
Ronag threw it high, it started coming back down, but then stopped. He concentrated pushing on it, lightly at first, but then harder. The stone waivered, then slowly fell back to his hand. He caught it.
"No fair, you overpowered me."
Ronag closed his hands around the stone, "Thats exactly what the Emporer is going to do Sha'ara. He is going to try and overpower you. You did very well though, much better than I thought."
She smiled, and thanks him.
"I want you to try something bigger now... Zen."
She giggled, then used the force and picked him up. He didn't even notice, he kept walking. Sha'ara looked like she was really concentrating, but Zen was only a foot in the air. She focused within herself, Ronag nodded in agreement, that was where she needed to go to find the force. She lifted him a few more feet. He gasped as he looked down.
"Hey Ronag, this isn't funy."
Ronag shrugged his shoulders, "It isn't me."
He pushed himself down, again very slowly. The two forces acting upon each other.
"I'm sorry Zen, "Ronag said, a huge smile coming to his face, "I needed something bigger than a stone."
Sha'ara giggled again, walking on. Zen gave them both evil glares, before smirking himself.
"That wasn't easy."
Ronag nodded, "And it will get tougher, are you ready to continue?"
She shook her head, "That last one wore me out, give me a few minutes."
Ronag understood, walking by her side.

Ganor

"You keep staring at her, you know..."
The Emporer grinned at him, mischieviously.
Ganor grinned back, "So do you."
"If you are lying to me about this artifact..."
Ganor rolled his eyes, "Our minds may not be linked anymore Emporer, but surely you can tell when a Sith is lying... well according to Vader maybe not."
He cracked his knuckles.
"Vader was a simple man, who momentarily caught me off guard. If you keep pestering him about me, I will blow up that planet. Everything that can destroy us is there, including the last Skywalker. I gain ultimate power with it's destruction."
Ganor felt a lump in his throat, it was true. With the destruction of that planet, everything fell into the Emporer's lap, including his loyalty, for e would become a simple apprentice then.
He tried not to let it phaze him, "Then do it. You have your own death star, why don't you just end it now. Take all your chips, and rule the galaxy."
The Emporer simple stared at him, "What would be the fun in that?"
Silence entered the room, Ganor looked at the ceiling, before bursting forth with an evil laugh. It boomed across the hall.
"You do have a sense of humor, and here I thought it was all gloom and dark."
The Emporer shrugged his shoulders. Ganor looked at Silver again, memorizing her features. She was so beautiful, he wondered if he should tell her. No, it was too soon, he would wait until they were alone, where prying Sith would not see them.
She took a sip from her cup.
"You're staring again."
Ganor leaned back, corssing his arms around his chest, "So I was."

OOC: Well, I thought a Hutt would be interesting... can't remember the name of those pig-aliens though... anyone? Also, poohlive - as far as the Emperor is concerned, the last Skywalker is dead! I don't believe either Ganor or Silver know of Sha'ara's heritage themselves. Silver killed Luke, and I6T9 blew up killing Leia.
And, as for you two, Indika and Moneytalks... ROLFMAO...

Farlo
"Er, I've seen pictures of Hutt's, and heard more than a few stories about them - generally unpleasant - in fact, all unpleasant - but I've never met one..." I said, "and I can't say that I really want to..."

C3P0 chirped up. "If I may be so bold, Farlo sir, I worked as a translator for a Hutt for a while, and I believe I have gained a certain affinity for dealing with the species... if you would allow me, I'm sure I could smooth things along and~"

R2D2 whistled and beeped, interrupting the golden protocol droid, and C3P0 looked down at his droid companion, "Jabba was planning on taking me apart for spare parts?"

R2D2 bleeped a few times, and C3P0 suddenly stopped. "Perhaps, perhaps I should wait outside..."

"Oh no, C3P0, we'll need a translator... I don't think Hutt's speak any language bar their own..." said Ronag, pushing the suddenly hesitant droid forward, as they were led into one of the small buildings. A wide stairwell led downwards.

The Emperor's Palace on Sithius

"The next entertainment is a little more mundane, but should be interesting..." the Emperor said, with a slight smile. It had better be.

The doors swung open again, and a procession of musicians and dancers, jugglers and singers, began to file into the hall, of various races. They all looked like they were trying not to look nervous - especially since they saw the remains of the captured rebels being dragged out of the opposite door by Imperial guardsmen.

"Begin!" the Emperor commanded.

ooc

Renegade, what do you mean you want to write yourself out of the story?!! You can't do that to us!!!
Hell, you started this thread, now you're gonna stay with us, until the bitter end!!!

Zen

Han Solo waited outside in case Nrada would recognize the man who helped kill Jaba The Hutt. We forced C-3PO forward as we made our way down the wide stairwell. It was dim inside of the small building and had a terrible smell to it. The pig creatures led us to what appeared to be a throne room. There were a few bounty hunters and slaves in the room but all of them seemed like nothing when we came face to face with Nrada the Hutt.

Once inside Ronag and I used the jedi mind tricks to make the bounty hunters leave the room as well as anyone else that wasn't chained down as slaves. I looked into his mind and saw that he could be manipulated but only to a certain extent. Nrada began to talk out against us for a moment then stopped to wait for our response.

C-3PO told us "Nrada the Hutt, demands to know why you have interrupted his dinner and why he should not kill you where you stand?"

Stepping forward I tell C-3PO to translate to him what I am about to say "We apologize for our interruption, but we need your help. We are in need of certain parts to our ship. This R2 unit has the information on what we need in his database."

C-3PO translated to Nrada what I had said then Nrada spoke back with some anger in his voice. C-3PO translated "Nrada the Hutt demands to know what you have to offer in exchange for the parts?"

Smirking Ronag and I waived our hands in front of him together to penetrate his mind as I told him "Nrada, you will give us the parts and not ask for anything in return except that we leave this planet. Now have you men give us the parts and let us leave."

Before C-3PO could translate that Nrada told us what I wanted to hear. C-3PO began "Nrada the Hutt says you will be given the parts and only asks that you leave this planet. He will have his men fix the ship for you as long as you wait outside. I do suggest we take that offer." Bowing to Nrada we wait outside while R2 and C-3PO tell him what parts we need.

Silver Dread...

ooc:... Renegade... don't you DARE leave this thread... [sharp glance]... this is the only thread I get to play with you in at the moment... [evil smile]... you CAN'T leave it!

Poohlive... ooops... was there a subtlety clause in here somewhere?... [wicked grin]... you better make a booking fast darlin'... [lol]

Kepic... what're ya laughin' at?... [scowls]... [then giggles along with you]

IC: Silver was only vaguely aware of the performers before her. They were clearly nervous and their intense attempts to please the Emperor was not helping their execution of the act. She had enjoyed the little excercise earlier, but she was bored now. She took another sip from her goblet as an Imperial Guard approached her with a message. "A message for you..." he saluted sharply. Silver looked up at him slowly through her lashes before she held out her hand for the consol. The guard handed it to her before retreating hurriedly. She glanced down at the small metal sheet and pressed her identity code into it to reveal the message. She scanned the contents before wiping the message.

She had been expecting this. There was no news of Drakon. He seemed to haved disappeared without a trace. She wondered if now she could finally put him behind her. She turned to see Ganor studying her. She felt a little thrill run through her. He could perhaps help ease some of her boredom. She smiled slowly and deliberately. He inclined his head in acknowledgement a wry smile on his own lips. He was a hard one to decipher that was certain. "M'Lord Emperor..." Silver addressed him drawing his attention. He smiled in encouragment. "I thank you for the entertainment, but it has been some time since I've been able to clean myself up, and I would ask your permission to retire and to perhaps purchase some new clothing..." she looked down at her rather bedraggled state. The skin tight jumpsuit did in fact look quite dusty with travel but apart from a few fray's she still looked remarkably fresh. The Emperor inclined his head, "but of course... the guards will show you to your rooms..."
"My thanks M'Lord..." She rose elegantly to follow the guard.
"Darth Dread..." She paused at his words...
"Don't forget I have a rather hectic schedule planned for us tomorrow... be sure to rest well..."
"As M'Lord commands..." She lowered her head politely. As she lifted her head she caught Ganor's eye. She held his gaze deliberately before turning again to follow the guard.

Tawain

As soon as they were out of the building, Tawain let out a sigh of relief.
"Well, that went remarkably well." he said to Zen, a touch admiringly.

But he was not fully at ease. He had heard many stories about the Hutts. He was not going to trust any one of them, Jedi mind trick or no Jedi mind trick.

ooc:
I just re-read some of the earlier pages...golly, it nearly broke my heart, reading about Tawain and Sha'ara in happier days...
Really, if the thread ever finishes, someone should transcribe it into a story!

[Edited by Lightman on 10-02-2000 at 11:03 PM]

Ooc: You mean to tell me the Emporer, who knew exactly what power that Ganor used to acclaim his stability of the foce, and pinpointed the spot where he got it, doesn't even know there's another skywalker kid hanging around? Isn't that selective thinking?
Moneytalks, I am trying, but I can't get the damn copyrights down. Stupid government.

Ganor

"She's right you know."
THe Emporer glanced at him, "What?"
"This sucks."
The Emporer leaned back in his chair, "So it does."
"I believe I want to retire myself."
The Emporer called for a guard, showing his room. Ganor thanked him, hating every syllable of it.
The guard placed him in an extravagent room, it definitally had a dark theme, but it was rather extravagent.
Ganor laid down on the bed, relaxig for the first time in forever. He quickly went up to one of the comm's hailing his Death star.
"How is the training coming along?"
"Perfect.. we are almost ready."
Ganor smiled, "Perfect. Head for this station, we make our last stand here."
The apprentice nodded, "Yes sir."
He sighed. The room was bugged, he could almost see it. It didn't matter though, there was nothing he had to hide from the Emporer, yet.
Finally, for the first time in a while, life felt good....
no, wait, it felt bad. Cause he's a bad guy...
Wait...
no... wait...
yeah.

Zen

Once Nrada's people finished the repairs we prepared to leave. Once inside, Han and the Droids checked around for any tricks the Hutt might have pulled. Tawain had good reason not to trust a Hutt. They are some of the most tricky race in the galaxy. That's one of the reasons the Empire never tried to take away any of the planets they had control over.

"Everything checks out Zen sir. Shall we get going?" asked C-3PO after everything was checked out.

Nodding I tell him "Let Nrada know how much we appreciate his help." C-3PO told Nrada what I wanted him to do as I boarded the ship.

Han pats me on my shoulder "Thanks for helping save the Falcon kid. I really appreciate it." Smiling I told him "Anytime Mr. Solo, now we better get out of here." After everyone was aboard the ship we all took our seats with Han sitting in the pilot seat.

"Hold on" warned Han as he switched on the Falcon. Looking out the window I thought I saw Nrada smirking at us but everything checked out so I put that at the back of my head for now. Sure enough the Falcon slowly hovered into the air and took off in a flash of light for our next destination.

OOC: poohlive... [ggls]... geez, you crack me up... [smiles at you warmly]... poor Ganor all confused about good and bad feelings... [winks]... time to throw him a curve ball maybe?

IC: Silver Dread found more than enough clothes waiting for her in her quarters. She dressed in a silky creation. Simple yet daring. It was silver, metalic, it draped across her curves as if it were poured on. Her back was completely revealed right down to the two sweet dimples just above the curve of her ass. It was held up by two thin straps and it dipped teasingly about her breasts hinting at the bounty hidden behind the fabric.

She heard the blip of the computer hailing her. "The Sith Ganor has retired to his rooms.." came the calm electronic voice. "Thank you..." Silver replied. She smiled to herself. She opened the door and saw two guards there. The attempted to stop her but she easily forced them back into position. When they came to their senses they were convinced she was still in her rooms. Silver padded barfoot down the corridors. She could feel him. She moved unerringly towards his rooms.

Again guards were placed at his door and attempted to stop her. She waved her hand impatiently and they fell the to floor sleeping. She pressed the chime hailing him. She heard his voice calling out for whoever it was to enter. She blipped the chime again. This time he paused. She could feel him probing. She smiled... he knew her. The door opened and he stood calmly before her. His gaze taking in her appearance. Without saying a word he moved aside and allowed her entry. She seemed to glide into the room, looking about as she did so with seeming interest. "Nice choice in decor."
"Well, unfortunately I didn't decorate it..."
She smiled, glancing at him over her shoulder.
"Hmmm... luckily I didn't come here for decorating tips then isn't it?" So saying she sat on his bed and drapped herself attractively across it.
"I'd say, you don't require any decorating tips, you seem to be quite capable in the decorating department..."
She smiled... this time it was a clear encouragment.

Sha'ara

The Falcon takes in a sputtering, bumpy manner, and finally evens out. I dont realize that I was holding my breath until I release it.

Looking straight ahead, I say to Zen, "So, what now? We can't go back to the base, obviously... what are we going to do?"

Zen

Turning back to Sha'ara I answer "We should head towards another one of our bases. There should be another one coming up in two hours. Once we get there we could regroup on what to do."

With that the Falcon and the White Hawk take off towards the second rebel base.

OOC: I was thinking we might be able to join the rebel/new alliance fleet that's readying at some system... Admiral Akbar (old fish-head) getting ready to go stomping at Orias B...

Zen

It took us a couple of hours but sure enough we had finaly met up with the rest of the New Alliance. The Falcon and the White Hawk both landed safely onto the planet as we all unboarded the ships. We were greated by Admiral Akbar and General Lando Calrissian.

Han and some of the others broke away from me to talk with them about strategy for our next move. I walked away to think about what has happened during the last few days. We underestimated the Empire and payed a very big price for our overconfidence.

Sitting down I meditate on the things that have happened but then catch the glimpse of a young lady holding a pair of Gemini flowers, just like the ones I gave to Madison long ago. I was going to have to forget her to help the others... but I didn't want to.

Standing up I go to look for the others to see what we do next...

Ooc: Curve ball? Oh my goodness. It's about time this whole sexual role playing finally lived up to it's name, lol. Ahem... anyway it's time to play.

Ronag

"But it's the Millenium Falcon..."
Ronag nodded, "Yes it is."
"You can't even lift it."
Ronag considered this, with his newly aquired talents he was sure he could do something to it, but actually lift it...
"Try, I am here, and I will help you."
She still seemed doubtful, but her mind started concentrating again. It immediately went into the flowing mode. She let the force flow througout her body, then concentrated it, used it on the Falcon.
Ronag helped her, he stood behing her, holding her hand. The force flowed through both of them, reaching out to the ship.
Suddenly there was a violent lurch as it rose a few feet in the air. Ronag smiled pleasently.
"Ok.. thats enough..."
"I can do more."
"I don't doubt that, but we don't want to train too hard today, let it down gently."
It remained hovering for a few seconds more, before going back down to the ground. Sweat covered both of them. Sha'ara's legs gave away and Ronag quickly grabbed her.
"Are you all right?"
She smiled, "Yes, I just kinda felt faint."
"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?" They both looked up.
Tawain stood there, his saber in hand.
"WE were just..."
"Let her go."
Ronag felt the hate inside him, he gently leaned Sha'ara back up, making sure she could stand.
"I said," he ran at him, pushing him to the ground, hard, "LET HER GO!"
Sha'ara grabbed his arm, "Tawain."
Ronag slided a few feet before stopping, he quickly got back to his feet.
"No, it's ok. Tawain, please stop. I am just helping her train..."
(hey, I want to build this up, if anyone else does? I think it would be interesting, if not well i tried, anyway...)

Ganor

"I would ask you to make yourself at home, " he said, taking a seat beside her feet, "but it seems you already have."
She giggled, leaning her head back.
Ganor immediately took one of her feet, and started massaging it gently. She seemed to purr at this.
"You were always the best at this Ganor."
He smiled, "You always had the sweetest smelling feet. You ever smell Mask's feet after a hard day of work? That was just nasty."
She giggled again.
"Well, I would ask why you came here, but I think we both already know why?"
She leaned forward, "I think we do."
"Do you love him?"
"I love power Ganor, you know that. That's why I went after Mask for so long."
"Thats not what I asked Silver, do you love him?"
She turned her head, "I.. I don't know. Do I have to love him?"
Ganor switched feet, "No, I don't suppose you do. I would feel better knowing you were loved, and were with someone who loved you."
She put her arms around him, whispering in his ear, "I am."
Ganor turned to her, placing a kiss gently on her mouth. She returned the kiss.
"There was another reason you came in here isn't there..."
A guilty look came across her face, "Maybe..."
Ganor let go of her foot, "I am not finishing till you tell."
She pouted, "All right, get going."
Ganor took her foot, massaging...

(talk about a curve ball, that thing is defying gravity)

Zen

I had arrived on time to see the whole thing between the two happen. At first I was going to jump into this but stopped myself.

Tawain and Sha'ara were so near being fully trained Jedi Knights that it was time for them to move more on their own. After all I wasn't always going to be around.

Sha'ara

"Tawain, the least you can do is hear me out." I seethe at him. I know he can feel my anger toward him. But, then I can feel he is just as angry with me.

"Why should I?" he shouted back, "It's just the same as back at base isn't it?"

I look at him bewildered, so he continues, "I was almost to the point where I might tolerate losing you to Farlo, because I figured you were probably in love with him... but now I know that you just ... just ... like to toy with people!!" he practically spits the words at me and walks off before I can respond.

"I don't understand.." I sigh. His words have hurt me more than if he'd run me through with his saber.

Ronag is behind me and puts a hand on my shoulder, "It's a confusing time for all of us, personal feelings are intensified in times of stress... don't worry abut him, he'll come around. Besides you have more pressing matters to be concerned with."

"Yes, you're right." I say wearily.

Ronag smiles, "But, now you need to rest. Go spend some time with you father... perhaps talking with him will calm you and clear your head."

I take Ronag's hand in mine and squeeze it, "Thank you, Master Ronag. You are a true gentleman."
