Star Wars

Silver Dread...

had stopped to watch the interaction between the Emperor and Ganor. She had seen the Emperor riled before but this anger was unusual. She looked at Ganor in a new light. He knew how to push buttons that one. She felt as if the longer she was in their combined presence the more of the dark force she felt. She could feel any sense of humanity that had plagued her ebbing. She felt cold, calm and in control. She felt the weight and balance of the sabre in her hand. Briefly she wondered if it were possible for her to kill either of the men before her. Maybe one, she conceeded... but which one?

She heard the faint sound of pistol fire. She turned her attention back to the pit. One of the humans had attempted to fire at one of the guards. The blast evaporated before it could cause any harm. She approached and looked down at them. Even armed with laser pistol's they seemed so vulnerable to her. Her eyes glanced over them with detached interest. She turned once more to the Emperor and executed an elegant bow. He inclined his head in acknowledgement. Silver faced the pit again, closing her eyes briefly to feel the force ebbing and flowing about her. The Emperor had been correct. She felt the faint energy patterns of the humans below. She crouched and leapt and with a clean sommersault she landed in the middle of the pit. Her sabre instantly humming to life she cut through three of the men closest to her with startling effeciency. The nine others took a moment to realise what was happening. One moment too long. With almost feline grace she sprinted over and with two well placed thrusts downed two women. Seven remained.

Her breathing hadn't even changed. She calmly turned. Now, realising their intended fate they fired at her. She smiled... her eyes flashing with excitment. She jumped avoiding the fire... spinning she came down knocking one man out with a well placed kick. Her cheeks were lightly flushed as she turned quickly. The other side of her sabre humming to life with a quick backwards thrust she gutted the fallen man and as she withdrew the forward thrust killed a woman who ran screaming at her from the front. Five remained. Where as initially they looked at her in confusion... then anger... now she felt their fear.

The five remaining men circled her warily. Their weapons didn't need to be close. Her's did. They weren't going to approach and be killed. She stood still. Her eyes not even bothering to follow them. She looked up out of the pit at the audience peering down at her. She ignored them all. Her gaze caught Ganor's, she could feel him probing even now. Her lashes flickered down to cover her amusement. She felt the Emperor too. If ever they worked together as one... those men would be formidable indeed. She sensed the fire. With sudden speed she deflected the fire easily. Just like practise really. More fire, she could taste their desperation. Maybe a little more cat and mouse?

She moved forward quickly catching them off guard she sliced off one man's arm just above the elbow. Not his firing arm but he dropped his weapon to clutch at his new stump. Her eyes glinted. The others were torn... help him... watch her? Luckily the heat of the sabre strike tended to sear the wounds inflicted closed. Two men suddenly ran at her in union. She stepped back and ducked. Holding her sabre straight between her hands she simply rolled forward. Slicing them in half. She didn't bother to turn and watch them die. Two and three quarters left she thought to herself as she turned to face them.

She turned off her sabre. Holding it in her hand lightly as if mocking the remaining prisoners. Her eyes telling them that even now she knew they would be dead. It was only a matter of time.

OOC: The Emperor wanting to 'get into' Silver Dread? Gee, poohlive... we're up to 28 pages and the ultimate Star Wars bad guy might 'get some' first? And he's not even my 'main' character! *sulks* I had almost forgotten that this was a sexual role playing thread... thanks for reminding me! LOL!

The Emperor's Palace on Sithius

"Magnificent, is she not?" the Emperor said, to Ganor, "she has much potential, she will make a potent ally".

Ganor turned to look at the Emperor, as if assessing him. The Emperor smiled slightly. Darth Ganor had annoyed him - but annoyance broods anger, and to a Sith, anger was power, if nutured. Oh, he could hardly wait untill Ganor saw the next entertainment, if it were not for Silver's display down in the pit.

The two Sith turned back to watch Silver Dread playing with the last three of her victims.

Farlo Truan - the White Hawk
I sensed Sha'ara first, then the rest, down on the planets surface. The gathered Jedi there were a better beacon than any surface-to-orbit distress flare.

The White Hawk descended rapidly through the thin atmosphere, and I landed beside the battered-looking X-wing that Zen and Ronag had used to get here. The Millenium Falcon looked in a real mess...

I was soon out of my ship and at the Falcon's hull, looking for a way in. I soon found access, where it looked like the hull plates around the exhaust had been pushed aside, and not from the crash. Probably where Zen and Ronag had entered. Quickly, I entered, finding my way to the rest.

"Is everyone all right?" I asked, as I saw them, moving up to Zen's side, concern on my face.

Tawain

Tawain...Tawain...
The strange voice came across the darkness of oblivion.
Tawain, listen to me...
-Who are you?
-One who is on your side.
-Oh? And I should believe that, should I?
-I already helped you.
-You...the food? You were the one who gave me the food?
-I was the one who made sure the food reached you.
-Where am I? What happened?
-Your ship was attacked. You are unconscious.
-Why am I not dead?
-Those who attacked you thought you were dead and left you. Their sensors showed no life readings.
-Why?
-I saw to that, Bright One.
-Bright One? My name is Tawain. I...
-Tawain, Bright One, you have many names, given to you by many people, thought you do not know it. But names are no protection against the Dark Side. Hear me, Tawain. The Fang of Death has arisen. The Starblade must be found. Remember that, Bright One.
-Fang of Death? Starblade? What are you talking about? Who are you?
-Remember, Tawain. Remember...

The darkness of unconsciousness turned into the grey of painful awaening.
Tawain opened his eyes. He was still in the Millenium Falcon, but the ship was heavily damaged.
Why couldn't I have died? If I died, Sha'ara would just take Farlo, and none of us three would feel the pain anymore...
Suddenly, he remembered the dream. Or had it really been a dream?
Where were the others, anyway?
Slowly, Tawain stood up, a painful groan escaping from his throat...

ooc: Thought I'd throw in a plot twist of my own. Hope you don't mind...

Zen

As soon as Farlo caught up to me inside of the ship, we heard a low groan coming from inside. "Tawain?" I yelled into the ship as we saw him stepping from the shadows of the ship. We ran to him and helped him out of the ship as he and Farlo gave each other a look that didn't look very friendly.

Once we reached the outside of the falcon we let Tawain rest on the floor for a moment as we all stood there feeling our first real defeat ever. Leaning against the Falcon I asked to nobody in particular "So... what do we do now?"

Ooc: Kepic, I was reffering to getting inside her mind, not her body. But you are totally correct. We need some more sexual inuendo's, even if we don't have the actual thing. I think a Sith threesome is in order, lol, well maybe not that far....

Ronag
He pulled her down to the grass, making her sit upright.
"Are you all right?"
She gave him a dazed look, but she nodded slowly.
"Good, I was scared there for a minute."
"You are Ronag, aren't you?"
Ronag smiled, "Yes, I am. We haven't formally been introduced."
She looks at him, still dazed.
"It's ok. Relax now. We have a long way to go, and a lot of training ahead."
"Training..."
Ronag smiled, unwrapping his cloak, and forming it into a pillow.
"We will discuss it more, now you need to rest."
"But my father... Taiwan."
Ronag glanced back to the ship, "Lay down, they will come out soon enough, but you need to at least lie down."
She slowly put her head onto the pillow, keeping her eyes open. Ronag smiled, she was a strong one. This would be helpful, very helpful.

Sha'ara

From the grey haze which covers my eyes I can hear everyone's voices. Farlo catches up to us, and I say, "Nice of you to show up hot shot." I hear him laugh and pull me into a hug, "You think I'd leave you here kid? Not a chance!"

Then I hear Tawain's voice, from the hull of the ship. Laughter bubbles up, even though it hurts to laugh, "TAWAIN!! I'm glad you made it! What a relief that all of us are still here."

I hear Zen ask what we think we should do now.

It's then that Farlo notices that I'm not looking around, "Hey Sha'ara... look at me." He says concerned.

Remembering his rugged, handsome face and Tawain's sensitive and beautiful eyes, I sigh, "I would love to, but I can't."

Suddenly Zen and my father are at my side, pushing Farlo aside, Zen asks, "You mean you can't see anything?"

"Just barely. A few moments after the crash, I could make out some shapes and colors, but now, it's just fog."

ooc - Damn it! Janet!

OOC - Cross posting again... I think that one wasn't too bad though! Heh heh!

Ooc: It's ok. Actually it doesn't looke that bad... if you squint really hard.
I am sorry, I tried to post that earlier today but it wouldn't let me, so when I just got on, I copied and post.

OOC

S'okay, Poohlive. I agree that it's not that bad.. Sha'ara could have been trying to look at him and since she can't see (right now) Ronag could've assumed it was merely dazedness. Right?

I actually have a plan with my story line this time!!

OOC - But now...

... I am going to bed. It was a very long week!!! Will post tomorrow when I can!!

Good night..

Zen

Great now this had to happen to her as well. As if she hadn't suffered enough. Leaving her to the aid of the others I turn to the droids and ask "Do you think we can get the Falcon fixed? It could be a lot of help to us if we get her off the ground again."

C-3PO explained "If we had the right parts perhaps but out here in the middle of nowhere it would be impossible to salvage the Falcon." Perhaps a parts dealer in a nearby town could be helpful but would it be worth the time?

Turning back to the others I ask "Do you think there might be a place around here that we could get parts to fix up the Falcon and get her out of here?"

Farlo

"I think I passed over a small settlement of some kind earlier... would have missed it completely if it wasn't for the White Hawks sensors... but since this place is rather off the beaten track, maybe they're trying to keep a low profile... perhaps a pirate or smuggler's den?" I said, "we could take the White Hawk and have a closer look... though it hasn't got a lot of cargo space for bringing parts back, assuming they've even got some they're willing to give or trade..."

Zen

Now we had a chance here "We could make more then one trip if there is not enough room for all of the parts. We have to at least try this."

I turn to the droids and tell them "C-3PO, I want you to come with us since you know what parts we'll need. R2, you stay here and help fix whatever you can with what we have right now. Anyone else want to come?" I turn to the others wondering what shape they would be in to travel again...

ooc:... listen guys... you aren't the only one's not getting any ya know... [sad pout]... [lol]... I almost HAD Drakon before he went missing in action. NOT fair!... [ggls]

Silver Dread...

smiled at the three remaining victims. They eyed her warily. One still clutching his stump of an arm. She glanced up past them at the Emperor.. and Ganor. At this angle that expression looked... so much like the other... She shook her head slightly trying to rid her mind of Ronag's words to her. Damn it... not again not now. The two uninjured men seemed to notice her distraction and inched forward. She didn't react, they aimed. Their quickly raised hands finally catching her attention. The first fire zipped past her shoulder causing her to flinch before her reflexes reacted instinctively, her sabre hummed to life deflecting the ones that followed.

Anger now, at the memories and the confusion and the uncertainty. She sprinted forward decapatating the man who had managed to graze her and gutting the other. Only the injured man survived. He fell to his knees sobbing before her. Her eyes flashed menacingly. For a brief moment she felt... something... pity? Remorse? She steeled herself, back handing him savagely so that he fell to his side. He crawled forward begging her for his life. His... pitiful life. She kicked him viciously, releasing her anger. He groaned falling face forward to the ground, twitching. She looked up feeling the Emperor's mind brushing her's. "Finish him..." She stood over the man. With a push of her foot she turned him over to look into his eyes. They flickered open painfully. She tilted her head to the side and at that moment, no one could know what she was thinking. She twirled her sabre skillfully before thrusting it into his heart... finally killing him.

She heard the sound of a single pair of hands clapping slowly. She turned off her sabre and leapt out of the pit easily, landing in a crouched position. She stood gracefully to face the spectators.

the Emperor's Palace on Sithius

The Emperor clapped his hands, slowly, standing up as he did so. Soon, the gathered officers began to do likewise, until Silver's ears were filled with the roar of cheering.

Then the Emperor raised a hand, and the cheering fell to silence once again.

"Excellent, my dear Silver" the Emperor said, "come sit down again, the next entertainment is about to begin..."

As Silver found her place on the throne to his left, the Emperor nodded towards the long table. One of the officers - Admiral Thorne - got to his feet and crossed the floor to one of the walls, were a panel opened, revealing some consoles. After a few moments of pressing some buttons, a small hemisphere descended out of the ceiling above the pit, and projected a holographic image into the centre of the room.

"Now, for some fireworks" the Emperor grinned, as he saw Ganor lean forward, his eyes wide. The image showed the Jedi Temple on the planet where Darth Mask had met his end.

Ganor had destroyed an artifact of the Emperor's. It was only fitting he returned the favour. With the artifact of Krytoris gone... Ganor's power would be greatly weakened again.

"Of course, I could delay the display, Ganor... but what would I gain in return?"

Tawain

Tawain stared numbly at Zen and the rest.
How could...how could they just go on, as if nothing particularly had happened? Sha'ara was blind for heaven's sake!
Supressing a sob, he sat on the ground.
Misery and pain. Always misery and pain. Has life nothing else in store for us?
He felt like giving up. But something tugged at him, wouldn't let him rest.
The Fang of Death has arisen...the Starblade must be found...

ooc: Good grief Indika, have you decided to break our hearts in any imaginable way until one of us can't bear it any longer and only one remains?

Zen

As we prepared to leave I walked over to Tawain. I could feel what he was thinking "I know what your thinking Tawain, but we're doing this for Sha'ara as well as for the Falcon. If we can get it going we have a better chance of getting out of here and getting Sha'ara to the proper medical facilitys so she can get her eyes checked."

He doesnt look at me but I finish "She'll be ok, I promise you that." I leave him there to help the others, feeling that he had another thing on his mind that I couldnt see but was probably best to leave it for himself to deal with.

Getting the OOC comments outta the way...

Lightman - Really that wasn't my intention when I wrote that, but now that you mention it... how badly do you guys want me? Huh, boys?? LMAO!! No, really that's not what I'm doing!!

Renegade - As for Sha'ara being taken by two guys, Farlo doesn't seem to be fighting for her very much. Perhaps he's doing the whole Han in Return of the Jedi thing, "You love him don't you? Well, that's all right..." Before Leia tells him that Luke is her brother!! Or maybe not. As for Tawain, he's very sincere and earnest, but I think he's very confused and angry at Sha'ara right now. But, then again he caught her kissing another man, so I can't really blame him. Maybe I shoud just make one of them my brother and be done with it. No, that's already been done ... so never mind. I'll just have to see how it all plays out!!

Moneytalks - You are a FANTASTIC writer!! I look forward to all of your posts. I wish I could write like that. I get too impatient sometimes. *sigh*

Kepic - You too are a great writer! Handling all of your characters extremely well I might add!!

Tawain

Tawain stood up. He had to do something, or his depressive thoughts would drive him mad. Do something. Anything. But what?

The Starblade must be found...

Closing his eyes, he let the Force envelop him. It was strong again, it pulsed inside him, filling him with life, temporarily pushing aside the despair.
He remembered the Travelling Platfrom from the Jedi temple. When he had used it, he had seen how it worked. It was quite simple relly, but it required an immense effort. No Jedi could accomplish that without the help of a strengthening artifact. But...the principles might be applied differantly. Instead of transporting a body, couldn't the Force just create the...sensation of the transportaion, it's essence...just like...this..."

There was an explosion of light before him. As he openened his eyes, he saw a nimbus of shimmering white light, forming an oval...
Tawain knew what this was. He had no idea how he knew, and he was sure he could not do this again, not on purpose.
But this was a gateway, almost as effective as the temple's platform...

"Zen! I don't think we need to bother about journeying to that settlement..."

Sha'ara

I sat there with Ronag on one side of my and Farlo on the other. Tawain hadn't said a thing to me, but I knew he was sitting on the grass across from me. I could sense everything as if I could see it with my own eyes. That's right Sha'ara ... use this blindness to your advantage to tune into the Force ... make it a part of you. I heard my uncle, the great Luke Skywalker in my head. Mentally I spoke back to him, You haven't spoken to me like this since you died Uncle.

You weren't ready then, the time is now Sha'ara. You don't need your eyes to see. Deep down you know this to be true. You only need to tap into your Force-strength and all of your other senses become irrelevant. Let the Force be your guide

Thank you Uncle Luke ... I love you.

I love you too ... make me proud.

I will
I closed my eyes and reached out with my very soul. I reached out beyond anything I'd ever been able to touch, see, smell, hear, or taste. I searched for the very essence of the Jedi .. of the human race. The Force. I felt it's power wash over me. It became me. I became it. I no longer felt the pain of my injuries from the crash and although I was still blind I could see more clearly than ever before, using my mind's eye. I could hear Zen talking to Tawain ... about me ... getting help for me. I leapt up from where I was sitting and said, "I don't need medical attention... and I would very much like it if you boys would allow me to help myself."

I could sense Zen looking at me with disbelief. "You must've hit your head harder than we thought Sha'ara ... you do realize that you are blind."

I grinned, "Physically maybe... but I can see better than the rest of you ... I guarantee it." Using the Force to guide me through the trees I walked over to the White Hawk and climbed in. I yelled to Farlo and the others, "Are we going to get parts for the Falcon or are you going to sit around chatting all day. Come on! We've got a Universe to save!!"

Farlo raised his eyebrows at Tawain and said, "Gee, a little bump on the head and she sure gets mouthy."

Tawain had sat down and started meditating and I was beginning to think that this was a fine time to be doing such a thing, when he suddenly announced, "Zen! I don't think we need to bother about journeying to that settlement..."

[Edited by Indika on 10-01-2000 at 12:07 AM]

Zen

Had everybody gone nuts?!? I turn to Tawain and ask him "What are you talking about Tawain? Did you hit your head harder then we thought on that crash?" I waited to hear what he had to say...

Tawain

Tawain stared at Zen. Had he gone blind as well?
"Don't you see it, Zen?"
"See what?"
"There, just in front of me!"
"I see nothing but air."
Tawain frowned. The white glowing nimbus seemed real enough to him. Was he really the only one to see it?
Well, no matter. He could not create another such gate, but he could control this one.
Seizing the Force, he expanded it, let it grow larger, washing over them. Then suddenly, things changed.
The gateway was now behind him. The others were standing around him, staring at the settlement that lay some yards away...

Ganor

His eyes flickered, slightly. The temple. It was the temple. His mind went out to it. The artifact, it was there, wasn't it?
He glanced back over at the Emporer. It was not his artifact, no artifacts were theirs. The artifacts were simply artifacts, the Jedi and the Sith could use them, but they never held any possesion. He shook his head.
"You want to take down the entire temple Emporer go ahead. The problem is you don't know what is in that temple. No one does. It's a Jedi temple, not a Sith one."
The Emporer said nothing, his arms folding across his chest.
"Please... enlighten us."
Ganor rose, giving a pleasing smile at Silver. He was in control again, the Emporer and him were no longer connected. They were both shooting in the dark now.
"The temple itself is filled with great heirlooms, but most of them are silly pots, scrolls, things of little importance..."
He pulled up a skematic of the Temple, pointing to a small tavern in the middle.
"There is something in here... something that neither Jedi nor Sith has mentioned since the beginning. A power so strong, it will end this whole thing, once and for all."
His eyes grew wide, Ganor could almost see him drooling.
"The problem is, that it is uner the influence of the Jedi. And being as thewy are such pansies, they never use it. If, however, it fell into the wrong hands... ours, things might change."
"How do I even know this is true? What if you are simply making this up?"
Ganor shrugged his shoulders, "If you don't believe me blow it up, hell blow up the whole damn planet. My deathstar should be fully operational by now, I will even help you. Just give the order, and it's gone."
He stood back, not saying a word. Silver looked on with great interest.
"I thought not..." he sat back down, "You have a lot of wisdom Emporer, but there are things even you do not know..."
He smirked at Ganor, "We shall see..."

(I love this war we are doing, it is building up {sexual} tension. This is awesome)

Ronag

She's doing it, she is actually doing it.
Ronag placed his hands together, "Finally... I was scared thee for a minute."
Zen looked at him. He simply shook his head, then stood up. Taiwan had found the light, the artifact's power was his to control.
"Wow. That is pretty impressive. You harnassed the power all by yourself."
Tawain nodded, trying not to lose his concentration. Ronag glanced over at Sha'ara. She was making her way back.
"You need any help?"
She nodded, "I am perfectly all right."
That's my girl... he thought, still glancing back at her progress.
