Star Wars

Farlo

"I'm going to grab a swoop [OOC note: a civilian speeder-bike] and get back to the White Hawk" I said, still running with Tawain and Sha'ara. I saw several wings of TIE's approaching from the distance... TIE bombers flanked by new triple-winged TIES, "looks like we're going to need some air cover..."
The base was already scrambling its own ships, X-wings and A-wings were taking to the air to meet the oncoming TIE's.
Then, I felt the ground shake beneath my feet. The others felt it too. We all knew what that signalled was coming...
"Hey! Sha'ara! Tawain! Farlo!" I heard a familiar voice shout from our left.

[OOC: AT-ST's (All Terrain Scout Transports) are the two-legged ones Kanyn]

Sha'ara

I hear Farlo say he's going to grab a swoop and head back to the White Hawk. "But, it's incapacitated Farlo... let it go!"

I hear someone yelling at us and look over to see Zen running toward us at high speed. Farlo notices too. Then he looks back at me and explains, "Hey she may be down, but I don't think your father would leave the Millenium Falcon if she was down, do you?"

I look at him thoughtfully, "Well get her running and get the hell out of here!" I run off and meet up with Zen, Tawain right behind me.

Zen leads us back to where he landed and I see how he got here, "The Millenium Falcon!" My father's ship. Then I take off in a run toward the base. Zen yells after me, "Sha'ara!! We need to get you out of here!!"

I stop and let him catch up. Breathlessly I explain, "No offense to you Zen, but my father knows that ship better than anyone, he can get us out of here."

Zen grabs my shoulders, "He could be dead already."

I grin and answer, "He's not." Then I break off into a run, using my Jedi powers I turn into a blur and reach the base in no time. Grabbing my blaster from it's hip-holster, I walk bravely through the ruined buildings looking for my father. Eventually I find him herding a group of students away from the bombed out guts of the dormitory. "Father! Follow me... we've got a ride for you!" Everyone carefully follows behind me, and somehow (miraculously) we make it out of the base perimeter without event.

I can see Zen breath a sigh of relief as he sees me and the others. My father stops for a moment taking in the glory of his ship, slowly he steps up next to her placing his palm on her hull, "Hey old gal... long time no see."

Zen steps up to him, "Captain Solo... ready to pilot us out of here." My father grins at him, "Ready as ever."

Tawain

Tawain stood some meters away, alternating his admiring gaze between the Millenium Falcon and its legendary captain Han Solo. Han Solo, his greates idol after Luke Skywalker himself.
Sha'ara's father...
Sighing, Tawain closed his eyes. He was weary, not physically tired, but his soul was exhausted. Did Han Solo have any idea about Sha'ara and him? Or Farlo?
Tawain shook his head violently.
Stop thinking about it! If she doesn't want you, she doesn't want you, and that's it.
The thought nearly split his heart in two, but nevertheless he forced his mind away from the painful topit, trying to find something else to think about...
Whoever had supplied him with the food, now...
Who wanted him to live, apparently more than Tawain himself?

Farlo

It didn't take long to reach the White Hawk on the swoop I borrowed. A quick check told me the damage wasn't too bad, more a case of a badly burned hull under the main cockpit than anything serious. Fine enougth to fly, at least.
I climbed aboard, and soon had her airborne. The sky above the base was swarming with TIE's and the New Alliance ships were doing their best to keep them at bay while the base personnel and civilians nearby were being evacuated, and apparently doing a find job of it.
In the distance, tramping through the forest, I could see AT-AT's looming. Several burning wrecks of those walkers told me that they weren't having an easy time of things either.
This was a large-scale attack, but it seemed they were more intent of driving us off than finishing us... I'd studied Imperial Tactics when I was in the Imperial Cadet's, and that didn't add up. Why?
"This is the White Hawk, to Millenium Falcon, do you read me? I'm up. What now guys?"

Zen

We were about to take off when I stopped dead in my tracks. The others looked at me as Han asked "What is it kid?"

I turn back to the base and tell them "I cant leave yet. Ronag and a few of the others are still out there."

Han told me "We cant stay here any longer! This place is a war zone now."

I tell him "I dont expect you to stay here longer. Take the Falcon and get out of here. When I find Ronag and the others we'll meet up with you on another ship from the base."

There was a short pause then Han complied "Ok kid, may the force be with you." With that the Falcon pulled up and left me as I began to search for Ronag and anyone else that might pop up.

Sha'ara

Sitting beside my father on the Millenium Falcon was exhilarating. I was scared and excited at the same time. Zen got out to search for the others and we were just getting ready to take off when Farlo's voice came over the intercom. "This is White Hawk to Millenium Falcon. What now guys?"

I picked up the transmitter and spoke, "White Hawk, this is Millenium Falcon. Zen is staying behind to look for the others. Right now our only plan is to get out of direct fire. Do you have any suggestions?"

Silver woke groggily with a splitting headache. Everything was blurry and she felt like her whole body had been used as a punching bag. She sat up carefully hearing a loud moan... which she suddenly realised was coming from herself. She looked around blinking carefully. Where the hell was she? Her eyes searched for some recognisable land mark. Was she alone? She ran a hand through her hair and was mildly surprised to find her hair was really short. Why was that surprising? Where was her sabre? She looked around quickly... groaning again as her head protested the vigorous movement.

She could hear something... in the distance... air patrols? She frowned trying to discern the sound. She stood up shakily only then checking to see if she was injured. Her head hurt horribly, but she didn't seem to be bleeding. She was shaky... but nothing was broken. Where was everybody?

Farlo
"~ any suggestions?" Sha'ara finished, in answer to my call.
"Well... the Falcon is a lot bigger than the Hawk... I'm sure you can punch through those TIEs... have you noticed, they're not pushing the attack as strongly as they could?" I answered, "go for it guys, I'll watch your tail... we'll need a rendeavous point though, in case we get split up..."
"What about Zen?" she asked.
"Once you're clear, Sha'ara, I'll see if I can find him. Maybe Killian can help me out, I think I saw his ship earlier off by those AT-AT's..."
The Falcon turned skyward, it's thusters glowing bright. Almost immediately, a wing of three of these new TIE's climbed up to follow, but I was already on an intercept course with them before they had closed into firing position. Between my own lasers and the Millenium Falcons turrets, they were quickly sent plummeting downwards again.
"OK Guys, good luck, looks like thats the only tail you picked up... I'll catch you later..." I said through the commlink, banking the White Hawk round into a dive, heading back for the air-battle down below me now.

On board the Tempest
Silver was in some kind of large dark-grey panelled room, dimly lit by round lights sunk into the ceiling above.
"She's awake again, sir" came the muffled voice of a stormtrooper stood in one of the corners, his blaster leveled at her. Silver turned her head from him to see an Imperial officer stood at an observation window nearby. He tapped a button on the console that was before him, and she heard his voice coming through speakers into the room.
"Ah, how good of you to join us again in the land of the concious Silver Dread" he said, "I am Admiral Thorne, your gracious host for this evening" he added, with a laugh, "Don't bother to try any of your tricks, we've inhibited certain specific area's of your brain with some quite ingenious chemicals the Imperial Research Laboratory came up with... I'm afraid that short-term memory loss is a side-effect of the treatment. Oh, by the way, the Emperor sends his regards".
"The Emperor?" Silver mumbled, tensing suddenly.
"Where am I?" she added, trying to stand steady, her head throbbing.
"Didn't I tell you that last time we talked? I'm sure I did, my dear. Well, you're on board the Tempest, my Star Destroyer. We're preparing to leave orbit now... I'm sure you're eager to speak with the Emperor again. He's apparently looking forward to a little chat with you..."

OOC: Moneytalks - from your last post, I assumed you've been captured in the Imperial attack. If this isn't the case, or you were heading in some other direction with that, then ignore the above piece of text.

Farlo
These new TIES were fast, and well armed. But they obviously still weren't designed for real atmospheric flight, whereas I'd made that modification to the White Hawk. Or at least, Jarko when he had 'been' me.

I missed having I6T9 aboard, though, I had put all of her together myself, before my brother had betrayed me. To know that she had been used to such... devastating effect... made me sick to the stomach. Jarko was going to pay big time for what he had done, not just to me, but to all of us... and especially for what he had done to Sha'ara.

But I wasn't about to let anger cloud my mind, at least, not yet.

I climbed, banking the White Hawk to come back down at those TIE's that had attempted to match my angle of ascent and had come up after me. I blasted the first couple out of the sky, sending them with spiralling downwards, wings shorn off and hulls burning in the atmosphere. The others split off, veering aside, out of line of fire. At least I knew the lasers on this thing worked for sure now.

"All right guys" I heard through the communicator, "keep them busy! Watch out for any straggler's going after those evacuation shuttles!"

"Any sign of Zen and the others Killain?" I sent, "the last lot of shuttles are about to take off now..."

Zen

Slicing through the ground forces with my two sabers I yelled "Ronag! Madison! Where are you guys?"

The sky was filled with ships battling it out and the ground was covered in dead bodys and blasters and sabers blaring in different directions. Stormtroopers and rebels were falling left and right at each others hands as the green grass slowly became more and more red from the blood of the fallen.

Ships were falling from the sky, crushing any unlucky person who wasnt fast enough to avoid its forced landings. Things were dangerous down here but I had to find Ronag for he was the best choice to protect Sha'ara from the Empires forces.

ooc:... no worries Kepic... cool of you to give my character something to do... [smiles]

ic:... Silver managed to suppress her sudden fear on hearing the Emporer's name. Whatever they'd given her was effective. She sat down on the empty bench which was the only comfort given in the cell she was in. She tried to think clearly and slowly she recalled... someone who had looked exactly like Ganor only... he hadn't been. She winced a little as she struggled to recall her last concious moments. She remembered... painfully... running from Drakon... straight into that Ganor look-alikes arms... he had said... some profound things and then. God... the pain... what had caused it? Now she was on board... the Tempest? She knew she'd better still herself before her meeting with the Emporer... she didn't imagine he would go easy on her.

She sat cross-legged in the centre of the cell and calmed her breathing until it was so shallow it barely seemed she was breathing at all. Slowly, her years of training came back to her. Her blood slowed and her mind cleared. The throbbing from the chemicals became less pronounced. She felt the force vibrating around her and she focused on the calm unemotional void that had kept her sane throughout her years on the dark side. Vaguely she wondered to herself... which side was she on now? Had the decision ever really been her own?

Zen

After what seemed like forever I saw Ronag battling a group of stormtroopers that all fell to his saber. Running up to him I yell "Ronag! We have to get out of here now! Do you know if there are any ships left for us to use to get out of here?" We needed to get out of here now. It was to deadly to stay here any longer...

Orias B - the Emperor's Haven
The Tempest came out of jump a short distance away from the rest of the large Imperial Fleet that had been gathering there for the past few months. Silver Dread recalled things in brief flashes... being escorted from her cell by stormtroopers... a trip in an Imperial Shuttle down to a dismal looking grey planet... Imperial guardsmen... all the while, the headache still with her, though the pain was all but gone, now that she had relaxed her mind with her training.

She jerked as something was pressed to the back of her neck. Something was injected into her, and then, she felt the headache subside.

"Silver Dread" a man's voice said. She didn't recognise the actual voice, but there was... a tone to it, an underlying edge that made the hairs on the back of her neck stand up. Her blindfold was removed - she didn't remember it being put on her - and then she saw him.

She was stood on an all-but barren planet, a few tufts of yellowy-green plantlife struggling for life in the dark grey soil. Before her, flanked by a pair of Imperial guardsmen... was...

The Emperor. She knew... sensed... it was him... but... gone were the many decades of furrows in his face. He wore the flowing dark robes she remembered him in from before, but the hood was thrown back. His appearance was youthful, a handsome young man approaching his twenties, with short brown hair and dark eyes... eyes that betrayed the fact that the age of the Emperor's mind was far beyond that of the body he now possessed.

"Yes, it is me. But I sense you know that already. It is good to see you again, Silver Dread" the Emperor said, stepping forward, "I hope you did not find the trip too uncomfortable... you must understand, I am sure, that those precautions were necessary, my young Sith. My underlings would not have been able to resist your control of the Dark side, should you have chosen to escape. Your command of the force is commendable... bu you have yet to achieve your true potential, with which with my tutelage you can achieve. Your current allegience, however... is something which seems to be bothering you. I honestly fail to see why. You became a Sith in pursuit of power, after all, as did I, and all that such power can give... and that..."

He paused, pointing out to his left. She followed his outstretched finger, to see a large black pyramid, in the distance. A glowing red sphere crowned its top. About it, an Imperial complex was set, TIE landing platforms, a large shield generator building, Imperial ion defence cannons... she had only seen a few such bases to such a scale in her service to the Empire so far, and she had travelled far and wide throughout the Empire. Between them and that base, two long lines of stormtroopers were stood, forming a path to the black pyramid. She felt the Emperor turning her face to look at him again with his forcegrip.

"...is power. Darth Ganor refused me, as he thinks he can be my equal in power, and perhaps so, but he is far, far, from equal to my knowledge of the Dark side and its many secrets. He treads his own petty path now, seeking to be a Sith Master himself, though he shall soon learn the folly of denying me. But I was not just offering power... but immortality as well. Perhaps Ganor did not fully understand that. I intend to rule this galaxy for a very long time... and those who are faithful unto me shall reap the rewards of that loyalty. My throne will endure for countless generations to come. But I may yet have another throne readied, to sit beside my own... this galaxy is large enough even for me to share. Every true Emperor needs an Empress to rule beside him. So, you see my dear Silver, Ganor's loss can be your gain..."

She held his gaze in her own for a while. She could see clearly in his minds eye what refusal would mean. He was giving her a stark choice indeed. Immortality and power beyond even her Sith desires, or... a quick and likely most painful end to her existence.

"But, perhaps you would care for a tour of the facility before you accept my offer? It has been a long time since I have had enjoyable company" the Emperor added, extending a hand in her direction. The group of Imperial guardsmen had formed into an escort, standing ready nearby, "I think you will be most impressed..."

OOC:... WOW Kepic... a most awesome Emperor... very well written... this is gonna be FUN! [smiles]

IC:... Silver accepted the hand the Emperor offered. It was indeed real flesh, warm, strong, youthful. She was at a loss to how he had achieved the transformation but she was sure that if anything his strength had grown. They walked together under guard and Silver felt that old familiar tingle as she began to understand the power behind this facility.

She tried to keep her attention on the Emperor, his power was unerving but she was continually distracted by the magnitude of the place. She already knew what her answer would be. Her mind teased her with her last memory of Drakon, how he had offerred to stand with her until she had made the transition to the light. She shuddered. With cold pure force of will she closed her mind to all thoughts of him. The dark side was all she had now.

The Emperor smiled down at her in approval as they continued their walk together. "M'Lord Emperor... I am more than impressed... but... I have one small request of you before I can return to you unconditionally."

The Emperor raised a brow. His eyes boring into hers. She didn't flinch. He was equally impressed with her courage and amused by her seriousness. He inclined his head slightly indicating she should continue.

"I have a few scores to settle M'Lord, there are a few in the rebellion, whose continued existence I find irritating and distracting. I would ask your permission for their destruction." She remembered the Ganor twin Ronag, Drakon and that little girlfriend of his. She would see them die painfully if it was the last thing she did. Then maybe she could finally find some sort of peace. The Emperor stopped forcing Silver to stop also. She felt his mind against her own like a cool breeze. She trembled but stood tall. He reached up to touch her face with his fingers making her blink at him in surprise.

Sha'ara

As we leap into hyperdrive (lightspeed) I feel as if my stomach is going to come out my back, but the feeling quickly passes. Then as soon as it has begun, we come out somewhere else in the middle of space. A huge jolt lifts the great ship and tosses it to the side. Followed closely by another large jolt. Looking out the window I cry, "Meteors all around us!!" My father begins to manuever the Falcon in a vain attempt to fly around the massive space rocks. Soon an alarm sounds, announcing a breech in the hull.

"Come on old gal! We've known each other too long for you to do this to me now!!"

I pick up the radio and call for help, "Millenium Falcon to White Hawk, we've landed smack dab in the middle of a meteor field.... we are being bombarded with everything... we may go down..." I look quickly at the map on the screen, "There's a planet nearby, the coordinates are..." as I finish the message I can only pray that Farlo got all the information and that he will be in time to save us. I feel the nose of the great ship tip as we begin our descent toward the unknown.

I glance at my father. He looks grief-stricken. First he loses my mother and then his beloved Millenium Falcon will possibly be destroyed, probably with us. I touch his hand to let him feel my presence. Morosely he says, "Hold onto your asses kids... it's gonna be a bumpy landing."

Ooc: Reverse alphabetical order maybe? ummm, I don't know. Let me start with the good, and end with the bad...

Ronag...

Those damn troopers had taken her. They has taken her from him, and he couldn't do a thing about it.
Ronag had killed as many of them as he could, letting his rational mind flee, only fighting on instinct. He couldn't handle, it, he didn't want to handle it. It was too much.
"Ronag... we have to go."
He looks up, tears streaming down his eyes.
"They have her now. She is weak, she doesn't know."
Zen looked at him, cock-eyed, "What on earth are you talking about?"
Ronag wiped the tears from his face, kicking a dead body laying next to him.
"Nevermind. We need to go, quickly."
Zen nodded, running for the nearest ship. It was a rusted out piece of shit, Zen took one look and started running to another one.
"No, there isn't any time. We have to hurry."
Zen pointed at the ship, "It won't fly. Hell, I don't think it will even sink at this point."
Ronag stared at him, "Get in."
Zen shook his head, "But.."
"Get in."
He shrugged, "Whatever..."
Zen jumped in, followed by Ronag. He quickly touched the rusting conrtol panel. No lights flashed, nothing worked at all.
"You see, I told y..."
The lights flashed, Ronag closed his eyes, peering into the force of the ship. It groaned to life, a sharp snapping sound was heard from the back engine.
Ronag shook his head, "I need help, touch the panel."
Zen nodded, taking a hold of the control panel. They both concentrated. The old ship raised it's nose slightly into the air, followed by it's ass.
Soon, they were out of the atmosphere, looking at it far far below.
"Thanks Zen. I couldn't have done it without you."
Zen shook his hand, "We might have died done there. Look at all those troopers, where did they come from?"
Ronag sighed, "The emporer."
A staticky message came in, "... we've landed smack down in... a meteor field..."
It fizzled out.
"That was the millenium Falcon," Zen said.
Ronag turned the ship around, "You up for a little rescue?"
Zen nodded.

Ganor...

He looked at the ship, wondering how stupid the emporer thought he was.
"Like, I wouldn't look at the outer hull..." He grabbed at the loose nut, it came off with a twist of his hands.
Ganor looked back at the trooper, guarding the ship.
"Did anyone touch this?"
"No sir, I have been here..."
Ganor sliced him in two. He hated lyers even more than he hated egotistical maniacs, himself included.
Ganor looked around, a few regular tie fighters, one wrecked imperial shipping vessel, and a damn X wing. Why in the fuck were there so many x wing's on the Imperial artillery.
The answer cam eot him, because they were wearing the Imperial's down. They were almost equals now, the rebel's and the Imperials. The fight would now be great, greater than anyone ever imagined.
"And this is only the beginning..." he said, climbing into a Tie fighter. He sat down, starting up the engines.
Thats when it hit him.

"Dread..."

Ganor cut the engine dead. She was on the ship. She was here. Ganor smiled.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Thunderdome..."
He quickly jumped out of the Tie Fighter. There was a new hand to be dealt kwno. A new player on the chess game. A queen. Anyone could win with certain players, but anyone with a queen almost surely wins.
Ganor walked down the aisle. Storm troopers first didn't notice him, but then started to stop him. He would "force" them to sleep. Ganor felt her, felt everything about her. Her presence, her being.
"She is here."
Ganor closed his eyes, perhaps the Emporer had something he needed after all. There might be a treaty to make. A deal to play. It is said that even the goodest of men will make a deal with the devil to get what they want.
Ganor was ready to deal. He walked up to them, bowing politely.
"Perhaps I was rash before. I must admit, I am a Sith Lord now, nothing can change that,"
Well something, but he didn't want to get into that
"But since we are on the same side. And since the last of the Sith are here, collected on this one ship, why do we have to seperate, when we can join forces."
Silver looked at him, there was something in her eyes as well. She wasn't the same somehow, something not quite right.
He looked back at the emporer, who was smiling quite pleasently.
"So, I finally do have something you want, do I?"
Ganor nodded, he could read the Emporer as easily as the Emporer could read him. Life was just too ironic.

Zen

After we fought our way past the empires forces we tried to make contact with the White Hawk. The radio turned on as another voice spoke back to us "Zen! This is Farlo do you copy?"

"Farlo!?" shouted Ronag who looked at me with a look of confussion on his face.

With a smirk I tell him "It's a long story. Believe me it's a LONG story that I'll tell you in a second but first things first." Picking up the radio I respond "Yeah I got you but this old ship is barely keeping up with our demands so you better make this fast. We know about the Falcon going down, do you know where they are?"

Farlo replied "Yeah I got the coordinates from Sha'ara before they went down. I'll send them to you and we'll meet at the planet."

We got the coordinates in the computer "Ok body we got them. We'll meet you at the planet take care." With that the transmission ended and we head off to the planet.

While we sat there my mind goes back to the ones we might have just lost. Kat, Drakon, and... Madison could all be killed by now. For the first time since I heard off Master Yodas death, tears actualy flowed from my eyes at the fact that after I had found happiness for the first time, I was once again alone....

Orias B - the Emperor's Haven
The Emperor brushed his hand gently against one of Silver's cheeks, his mind delving into hers, seeing what she wished.
"My dear Silver, I am afraid I must turn down your request... I do not want the Jedi to die painfully..." the Emperor said, softly.
Silver jerked in surprise, and the Emperor laughed.
"I want them to live painfully. That pyramid will house their spirits, passed from cloned body to body, for generations, their power over the force constantly being drained from them and passed onto me... and one other Sith. The Jedi will be subservient to us, slaves to the Dark side..."
He took his hand from her face, smiling.
"If things are going according to plan, then your - our - enemies should be on there way here, soon... patience, my dear Silver, patience. Your vengeance will be fulfilled tenfold, I assure you. Killing an enemy is a victory, but defeating them... and letting them know they have been defeated, to live in eternal sufferance... ah... that is surely the ultimate victory".

He showed her the Sith cloning facility, where he had been reborn anew.
"The bodies cultivated here are more perfect than any humans. Improved musculature, stonger bones, faster reflexes... my own Imperial Guardsmen are taken from these stock" the Emperor said.
"Of course, it would be a simple matter to grow some female bodies in some these tanks... which could provide you with an effectively immortal existence, my dear Silver, as this facility already provides me".
He turned to see the smile on her lips. The expression on her face, hunger for power.

"Perhap's we should return to the Tempest, now my dear... I must speak with Admiral Thorne, then I can organise some entertainment for us, to pass the time until our enemies arrive..."

Returning to the Tempest, the Emperor and Silver, followed by a dozen Imperial Guardsmen, encountered Ganor in one of the corridors back to the hanger bay, after the Emperor had spoken with the Admiral.

"So, I finally have something you want, do I?" the Emperor smiled, as Ganor made his 'apology'.

"Very well. I am returning to the surface again now, with Silver. Perhaps you would care to acompany us? My new palace is below us, Darth Ganor, on Sithius, as the planet was known as long ago... and I was planning on some entertainment for this evening. My Imperial Agents report the rebels are amassing a fleet in preparation for an assault on Orias B... but it will be some time before they are prepared... or at least, before they think they are prepared..."

With that, the three Sith returned to the planets surface together. Silver could sense the distrust between the Emperor and Ganor, but they were currently united in a common goal.

Farlo Truan - the White Hawk
The White Hawk came out of lightdrive at the co-ordinates Sha-ara had given me, just in time, before the transmission ended in static. I hoped they were all right...

Planning the jump without I6T9 had taken a little while - astronavigation wasn't one of my finer points. I was here now... now, where was the Millenium Falcon?

"This is the White Hawk to Zen... I'm about to enter orbit with the planet in this system..." I transmitted.

Then I put the White Hawk into a low orbit, her sensors on full, scanning for any traces... then I switched the sensors off. No, there may be an easier way... I lay back in my chair, closed my eyes, relaxed my body, and focused...

Sha'ara, Tawain... can you hear me? I'm in orbit now... can you direct me to your landing point? I sent.

Silver Dread was curious. The two male Sith walking before her were indeed powerful. She was talented enough to sense this. Seeing Ganor had been a surprise, she felt her heart almost stop. He and Ronag were identical. For a brief moment she felt a flicker of doubt about her decision. It was instant and passing. She watched the two most powerful Sith of their time assessing each other. She was curious about Ganor. He had obviously grown quite powerful since the last time she had seen him. She felt his glance on her, he was probing. The only sign that she noticed was a mere flicker in her expression as she firmly shut herself off from him. He smiled. Maybe he was impressed, she wasn't sure. She was as incapable of reading his thoughts as he was hers at the moment.

The Emporer took her arm possessively as they reached the surface. He guided her towards the impressive hall where their entertainment was to be held. It was a striking vision. A large stark throne stood solid in the centre of the room. Two smaller yet equally impressive thrones banked the Emperor's seat. A long table gleamed black and long spanning the room's width for guests. It was currently filled by various officers of the Imperial forces. They all stood to attention as the Emperor entered. The long table left a large open area before it for "entertainment" purposes.

The Emperor helped Silver to the seat on his left leaving Ganor to take the seat on his right. Silver was still considering the idea of having an immortal body. She wondered about it, about the technology behind such an amazing transformation as she could clearly see in the Emperor himself. She was also still hoping that she would at least get to kill one of those irritating rebels. She was craving the glory of the fight. She controlled her breathing, forcing herself to calm down. Her eyes glinted as the great doors opened and the Emperor's entertainment was brought forward.

Silver glanced to her right and noted Ganor watching her. She smiled softly openly considering him back. She found the tension between the two men immensely satisfying. The power struggle she could see there was quite tense and she was enjoying the amusement this offerred her while acknowledging the privledge of being a witness to such perfect force. She breathed deeply feeling the dark force which emenated from them. She could almost taste the subtle differences. She wondered how long this tentative partnership would last... and who would ultimately win.

Zen

Once we arrived at the co-ordinates given to us, we flew the ship into the planets orbit.

Suddenly we got a message through the transmitter "This is the White Hawk to Zen... I'm about to enter orbit with the planet in this system..." Now that we knew Farlo was with us on this planet we needed to find Sha'ara and the others.

Turning to Ronag I tell him "Use the sensors to try and find a trace of the Millenium Falcon. I'll try to contact them with my own sensors."

Sitting down on the floor with my legs crossed and my arms on my knees, I focused and tried to make contact with them "Sha'ara... Tawain... we are here to help you but I need you to lead us to where you have landed..." I continued this hoping for a responce from them...

Orias B - the Emperor's Palace on Sithius

The Emperor sat down on his throne set in the great entertainment hall of the palace that he had constructed upon the ancient birthplace of the very first Sith. He waved his hand, indicating the gathered Imperial officers to take their seats again.

"Today is a day of celebration" the Emperor intoned, his voice echoing about the large chamber, "for we have here gathered the two responsible for the death's of Luke and Leia Skywalker - Moff Truan, and Silver Dread. Lord Vaders treachery has been avenged".

A cheer erupted from the bredth of the long black table.

"But we must not be complacent. The rebels - who think they have driven the Imperium onto its knees - shall soon see its glory unleashed upon them. The fleet of the Imperial Navy is at a new height, and even now, our enemies are making preparations for their own destruction..."

Another cheer.

"...but for now, let the festivities commence!"

A set of great black doors at one end of the chamber swung ponderousy open. In marched a group of Imperial guardsmen, escorting a small group of humans, a dozen in all, each manacled.

"These are some captured rebels, who Admiral Thorne had captured upon the planet where has recently completed a mission for me...

They were brought to the centre of the chamber. The Imperial guardsmen moved back, forming a circle about the twelve prisoners.

"Almost every living being has at least some small gift with the force... you might call it luck, or chance... but for these poor creatures, luck has ran out..."

The guardsmen lowered their long blaster carbines, but held their fire. The portion of the floor on which the prisoners stood began to descend, forming a long wide pit, until it was about ten feet deep, and fifty across. The prisoners looked in a state of panic now, huddling together, as if they expected some fierce animal to be unleashed upon them. They might well be right.

The guardsmen stood about the pit drew small blaster pistols from their belts beneath their red cloaks, and threw them into the pit. As they did so, the Emperor waved a hand, and the prisoners manacles fell from their wrists.

"A forcefield surrounds the arena floor now, so do not fear their weapons my loyal officers" the Emperor said aloud to the guests as they leant back in surprise at this, some even shifting in their seats looking as though they were about to get up. Only two looked prepared for this, who had leant forward expectantly. Silver Dread recognised Admiral Thorne, and the other as a Captain who had been aboard the death star? Darth Ganor knew him to be Moff Truan. Silver Dread's faint confusion was set aside when the Emperor set in her mind the explanation of Farlo and Jarko.

"Silver Dread, would you care to display your prowess for me?" the Emperor asked, leaning to his left. He held out his palm to her, on which rested her lightsabre. "A little gift for you, my dear" he added, smiling, "in gratitude for your slaying of one of my old enemies. Enjoy".

Ganor

He sat, arms folded, watching as Silver Dread got up, walking past the two men. She smiled at The Emporer, and then, smiled at Ganor. Ganor nodded, in contempt. He could tell The Emporer wanted to get inside her. HE wanted to get inside that one spot that will make him control the person willfully, but she was strong. She had let him in, but not that far. It was pretty pathetic, because he was trying to get into that same spot.
"You are filling their heads with solitudes." Ganor said, his arms crossing.
The emporer turned to him, "What?"
"You aren't telling them the whole truth, you are telling them that we have already won."
He smiled, "My boy, we already have."
Ganor remained still, "Never underestimate the Jedi. They are as cunning as you are."
"No Jedi is as cunning as I am."
Ganor blinked one, "Vader?"
The Emporer shot out of his chair, turning on his saber. He growled at Ganor, who still remained motionless, "Vader disobeyed me, and he perished for that."
"You almost did too. All I am saying is don't underestimate them. Your whole plan for the destruction of the Jedi depends on an artifact that you don't even have yet."
The Emporer sat back down, watching Silver, she had momentarily stopped, looking at the two.
"Soon, Ganor, soon. Go on sweety."
Ganor stretched out his arms. He had finally gotten under the man's skin. Thats all he really needed to know. A smile came upon his lips.
What a day to be BAD...

Ronag
He was checking the scanners. Which were all but shot, it was mostly scanning with the force. HE picked them up, right at the edge of a field.
"We are going down."
Zen was stil in his trance, looking for them. He suddenly came out, pointing towards the field.
They are right..." he looked at the instruments, "Perfect. I hope they are all right."
Ronag patted the man on the back, everything he had was on that ship, "Don't worry, everything's fine."
They landed a few hundred feet away. Landing isn't exactly the word though, about half way until they landed the ship started breaking up. Soon there was nothing left but the cockpit. They landed, and it sort of fell apart, nothing but a package of metal left.
"What a good girl," Ronag remarked.
"Whatever," Zen commented, running towards the ship.
Ronag followed him. The ship was smoking out of a few exhaust pipes. The poor thing looked like a tin can that got caught in a fight with a cat. It was mostly in shape though. He hoped the passengers were better than the ship.
Ronag looked up at the sky, "Farlo isn't here yet?"
Zen shook it off, going up to the front of the ship, "He will be here soon enough. Let's get them out."
Ronag shrugged his shoulder, "all right."

Zen

It was a little hard getting past the heat from the exhaust pipe but using the force we were able to advert the direction away from us. The door on the side was knocked open from the impact, allowing us entry to the ship.

Once inside I found R2-D2 and a damaged C-3PO on the far right corner of the ship. Heading to the front of the ship we open the doors and call out for them "Sha'ara? Tawain? Han? Are you guys okay?"

Sha'ara

...pain... oh god ... so much pain.. what happened... where am i... open your eyes... good girl... Upon opening my eyes I am met by a hazy cloud of shapes, blurred together is a slurry of colors. I try to shake my head clear and a sharp pain jars me and renders me unconscious for a couple of seconds again. Weakly I pull my body up off the ground. I rise up to my knees. I can see a little better though things are still pretty hazy. I crawl toward a black and white shape that I believe to be my father. Hoping he's still alive, I don't think I can bear another loss... and what about Tawain? "Tawain? Tawain?" I don't receive an answer, but that doesn't mean anything, he could be unconscious. I hear movements and shouting off to my right. I recognize the voice as Zen's, "ZEN!! Over here!!!" I cry out.

Zen

When I hear her voice I become filled with new hope "I'm coming Sha'ara! Just hold on!" I quickly use the force to push away debris and anything else thats in my way as I head towards the sound of her voice.

Once I reach her I ask "Is anything broken?" She shakes her head as I help her out of the spot she's stuck in and start to pull her out.

I carry her in my arms as she's barely able to stay awake and isn't able to talk much at this point. I hand her over to Ronag who helps her to the floor to look over her. I notice that R2-D2 is working on the damaged C-3PO outside as I make my way back for Han and Tawain.

When I find Han I see that he's still alive but was hurt bad in the fall. Checking him over I think he'll live but I needed to get him out of here. "C'mon Mr. Solo" I tell him as I put one of his arms around me and let him lean on me "Your kid needs you."

It takes a long time and it takes alot of the wind out of me but we finally make it out of the Falcon. I gently lay Han down next to Sha'ara as I look back into the ship. Slowly I step inside and begin to worry if Tawain was able to survive the crash...
