Pleasure, smeasure. Nothing's pleasurable about getting the painting all wrong. Get your paintings right or reduce them to refrigerator art. Refrigerator art is probably more attractive than your Cuba and surreal commie paintings.
Don't get me wrong. Paintings can be useful. Target practice, starting fires. Heck, if you have enough you can use them to cover the barn siding. For that, they got to be the old ones made out of canvas and oil paint.

At least one of them isn't stupid enough to discount the importance of the impressionism era. Monet is literally the god of art imo. Have you seen his paintings in person? I got legitimately emotional while looking at them because they're so beautiful.

Yes, the Bellagio gallery here in Vegas had a collection on display that was on loan from the Guggenheim. It included several Lilly pond paintings, my favorite Monet's.

Of course I understand pretty. Pretty is what I do with my poetry, my music and my writing. So I can't bring myself to attack pretty. And that one is pretty too.
