Stories getting flagged for Grammarly use

I second what Emily said. I have used Grammarly, and since I currently compose stories in MS Word I use its grammar and spelling tools. But the way to use them is to spot potential problems and typos, and, instead of adopting the Grammarly solutions or Word solutions across the board, I use my own judgment. Sometimes, you should deviate from what it recommends to give your writing its own unique flavor.

My suggestion for a piece on which you've already used Grammarly and is too long to re-type, try copying the text into a new Word Doc and selecting paste as text only and perhaps any of the links to Grammarly might fall away - don't know for sure but it's worth a try.
Downside is you'll probably lose any formatting like italics but that might be easier to re-do than re-type the whole piece.

And/Or use a text editor to create a new RTF file, which is what I do.

I recently got flagged on a few stories I wrote and used Grammarly to help me edit. Problem is, that some of these stories are fairly long and rewriting them completely takes forever and then deturs from me writing new material. Grammarly saves me a lot of time and doesn't make me wait for someone else to do it for free through the volunteer editors. Has anyone found a way around this? I'd like to plead my case to Laurel & Manu but don't have their emails so I'm not sure what to do...and I'm talking about like 20 stories I've spent 6 months writing.
Unfortunately, Grammarly has added AI elements that leave a mark, so if you let it make changes for you, you're likely to get flagged.
