Stuff people send me

Actually we're working on an app that can write faggoty cock sucking stories. Trouble is it keeps breaking down vomiting in disgust. As do all the programmers. Oh wait, perhaps you could give us some advice on that?

How DO you get past that moment that would make any NORMAL man puke his guts out?

Don't represent my values at all. But someone takes a shot at me like he did, he'll get one right back. In the most vulnerable spot.

I have gay and lesbian friends and relatives. We raised one of my daughter's friends, a gay girl when her parents kicked her out because she was gay. Put her through high school with zero support from her parents.

He made an asshole comment so why are all of you letting him get away with it. Didn't see one of you suddenly concerned people telling him to stop it

Edit: and that was a PERSONAL shot he took.

So what you seem to be saying in all of this is; You helped raise an ABNORMAL young girl despite the fact it made you puke your guts out quite frequently? Obviously, it must be DISGUST and HATE of ABNORMAL things that induces vomit. One's words reflect one's thoughts...

To me, the "abnormal people" in the world are those who cannot accept the validity and normalcy of anyone who differs from them. Think about it. Why do some Christians hate all Muslims? Why to some Caucasians hate people whose skin pigment is different? Why do some heterosexuals hate those who have different innate sexualities? Why do some men hate women? Why do some women hate men? Why does anyone spend so much energy hating?

About the only thing worthy of hating is hate itself. This underlying hate is what has been called out on much of this entire conversation. I think it's been brought out that some stories seem to earn the favor of some readers if there is a serious retribution of a woman by the end of the fantasy...wouldn't "hateful" describe that? It certainly falls short of the Christ's response to those who were intent on stoning the adulterous woman...just saying

Hateful people tend to also be unpleasant people to be around...they also seem to be miserable themselves. Hate is a dark and dangerous cave to descend into...a place void of light and a place where one can easily loose themselves. Pretend to be something long enough and lo, one day awaken and find you are that which you played.

And once again.

Distorting what I said.

Not a word of condemnation about the original poster?

You guys are all a work. The era of the professional and perpetually offended.

Jason criticized a theme topic chosen to write about and what line to take in that writing. You bashed gays for being gay with very nasty words. I'm not a bit surprised you don't see the difference. And I'll leave you to dig yourself in deeper. My reporting of your post was to challenge what values the Web site will choose to have on what it tolerates and supports here.

Having spent the better part of a week now trying to explain the difference between insult and criticism to Gordo, I think I can safely say that you are wasting your breath. There are better uses for it.

OK, I'm done here. I should probably have bailed when Gordo derailed a thread about anonymous harassment into explaining why the target deserved it. But now he's claiming that throwing homophobic abuse doesn't make him a homophobe because the target deserves it - and complaining about "easily offended" people after derailing this entire thread because somebody criticised his writing in good faith - I'm going to learn from my mistake.

is that if I write a story about how #allwomen cheat on their husbands (as proven by the huge number of genuine women signed up to Ashley Madison) and deserve to die, I can finally achieve the numbers of votes and positive comments on my work that I'm currently so woefully lacking.

I'd write one, but I don't know where to start. If only there were an app for that.

Apparently this part went right past all of you.

Why should I put up with that shit?

I derailed nothing. AMD posted harassing emails received because she went overboard on her critique on MY thread. People took offense to that. Not that I condone emailing her shit like that.

That's where this discussion evolved and I posted some of the insults she made toward me on that thread.

But then you get some jackass like Clearwater jumping in without having read any of it and insulting me. Fuck that.

And you're all pissed off because I took a strip off his hide. He deserved it.

Is there one of you "socially conscious" people that can stand up and say... Gee he shouldn't have done that.

Is there one of you "socially conscious" people that can stand up and say...Gee AMD shouldn't have said those things about you.

You're a mob of mindlessly ranting XXXXXXXXX that can't seem to think past homophobe.

Every major media company I know has discontinued public comments on their stories. Why? Just because of mindless twisting of words, personal insults and bull shit spewed just like this thread has become.

And everyone of you here is just as responsible as I am.

Different issues, and I thought he was holding his own on your story critiquing. Seems kind of silly to recommend not wasting breath, after you initiated a post and then tenaciously ran it into the ground for three days.

Oh my days, I sit down to my morning tea and toast and see that mouthful of funshine. I can't respond in kind... I kiss my boyfriend with this mouth. ;)

Honestly, doesn't bother me Gordo. I get the satire in your response. It'd be the same if (I believed) an African American author had taken a potshot at me, and then just wrote the N-word repeatedly in response. Everyone would get the joke.

Seriously though, the first paragraph of my response was just paying my respects to those who offer feedback on here, because I do very much appreciate them.

The second paragraph referenced the type of commenter (not yourself) who many of us have seen at one point or another, but which are rife in LW, who leaves feedback such as was posted from your story to the thread, in this case, extolling that all women cheat and all women should die. I'd personally not be too proud of getting that kind of response, or want to write things that received that kind of response. At the same time, I understand you can't choose your audience. Or... can you?

I don't subscribe to the view that we should all write ethical porn; I'd be the first to say, the darker stuff appeals to me. But when you write 'satire' and your audience starts cheering along, KILL THE BITCH!, and that's happening every day in the real world, and the response is so aggressive and in volume, that's not a good sign.

Most of my post referenced the fact that many of us have sat about pondering the sheer numbers of views and comments LW fiction achieves, and then are put off ever writing for the category by the content of the feedback. That's not a comment on you, that very much reflects on the mindset of the audience.

If you were to say, 'Oh, look at all those cock suckers in GM leaving comments about how much they love to suck cock', I'd say, 'Yes. Look at those beautiful bastards. They want to suck cock. It's a beautiful thing, and it makes us all very happy.' There is also an app for that, btw. ;)

If, on the other hand, I wrote GM fiction about murdering gay men, along the lines of inciting gay-panic, and the comments section was filled with joyous praise for how brutally I'd done it, that'd be another thing entirely. There is such a thing as 'proportional response', where a good revenge story offers a like-for-like retribution. Game of Thrones does this well. On the other hand, when men cheer on the brutal death of a 'cheating' spouse, that does unfortunately trigger a negative response with the wider audience in this day and age, given we live in a world where women are being murdered by their spouses at an alarming rate.

The only part of my post that genuinely referred to you (rather than the above well-known state of affairs) was 'I wish there was an app for that', which is something I and my colleagues said at every meeting for a very long, boring year, when we were sleep deprived, and being asked to develop apps for literally every fucking thing. It was a finishing flourish that fit, only because your story contained an app. Don't take it to heart. I won't take what you've said to heart, because I can can see it was just a joke, bro.

Y'all didn't see Dude's just another BB from the git-go?

Naw, I don't see the connection. Gordo12 actually writes and posts stories. I can't see BB understanding that this is a story site.

On that basis Jason let me offer my apologies. The way it read I took it to mean me pandering for votes and attention. That did not sit well. I try to write good stories and yes even stories without worrying about social dimensions I can't control.

Anyway, apologies. I hope we can move past all this. :rose:

Yep, two more for April Fools on Friday and not one woman got killed. Although social media may want to lie low... :D

And if you see a camera pointed your way....

That's an act. Ain't nobody as stupid as he portrays himself out there on the GB. I suspect he's one of the authors here on a different ID and maybe here in the AH. Why else would he spend so much time here?

Aside from that, I said A BB, not THE BB, referring to the thought process and biases.

Why else would he spend so much time here?

Says the guy with 8300 posts in 10 years compared to my 393 in 8 years. Who BTW is now retired and writing.

Stop trying to stir up shit. I see you on the boards trying that all too frequently.

If I had a prime email suspect...
