40 years of searching? Wow... So all those Dommes you must have met have all been overweight and/or have a huge chip of their shoulder, that is rather impressive. In my humble few years in the scene I've met Dommes who were neither.
I've also met a bunch of asshat submissives who haven't realized that Dommes are people with flaws just like themselves and who expects every lifestyler to be like acting and looking like a pro.

Give up if you want, nobody forces you to go through this. However, not trying is the only sure way to not get what you want. Good luck with your search.

I think I have a great attitude. Just a bit frustrated at the moment. Tell me you haven't ever felt frustration. Of course they (dominant females) are people. I'm not looking for perfection, since there is no such thing. A real, down-to-earth person would be nice. Not someone with an attitude and prejudice against someone she has never even met. I think the gold diggers and the wannabes out there make it hard for anyone to trust. And, for your information, I have just quit CollarMe.com and Fetlife after 6 and 4 years respectively. Many of us purge, then come back. Perhaps I will and perhaps I will not. I'm just too old to play stupid mental games with people who profess to be what they are not.

Thought seeing as this thread was here, I should add my name to the list of willing male subs for online play.

I agree with the dommes who wrote that they would require some photographic evidence that you had followed commands. However, I also think some level of trust both ways has to occur.
