Hi all I am pretty new to the whole sub thing. I am one of the rare male subs out there. I had a Mistress at one time in a Yahoo Chat room but that became FUBAR. I don't know all the things about being a sub(which would explain why I got whipped so much). But I have come hear to learn the ways of a sub and maybe just maybe find a Mistress. :cool: ;)

a few, floggers especially, but A has refused to use them as of late and im not allowed to mark myself so they havnt gotten mych use.. and what prompted me? boredom and creativity

As for home-made toys - I've made several floggers. Some turned out great, some were so-so. I have one I want to re-do the handle on. I made them because after looking at several very expensive but piece of shit floggers at the adult/porn store, I thought "I can do better than THAT for a lot less money!" I was right. :D Even my bad ones were better than the POS crap they were trying to sell...
 
I've been seriously debating making my own flogger. But I'm not sure if you can use webbing instead of leather strips. And I have yet to figure out how to attach the strips of whatever to a handle. I'll probably make one once I get my current projects done/made & have time to research the solutions.

I made my own cat tail buttplug. I was looking for one to buy and I couldn't find anything but pony, fox, bunny and pig tails. I had to have a cat tail so I took a tail that was connected to a elastic waist band that I had made for a Halloween costume a few years back. I took out the elastic. Then I used a vaginal probe I had used for pelvic physical therapy sessions as the buttplug part. I cut off the electrical cord about 18 inches from the plug. I threaded it into the tail, secured it with safety pins and viola! cat tail buttplug where the fur is removable so it can be completely cleaned.

The next thing I need to make is a spanking skirt. I haven't seen one around that I want to buy so I'm going to have to make one, but I am not a great seamstress so we will see.

Sir made his own paddle, and he did a wonderful job of it too. I have the job of decorating it, ready to be used next time. Not sure on what to do to it though. Lol. :)
The first one he made looked very big and to thick though so he made a thinner one, and it looks just like the ones you pay alot of money for. I suppose its trial and error, some things work out okay first time, others take time and alot of patience.
Floggers are something i have thought about making myself, but i need to do research on them first too. Not sure on where to start.

Edit: I'd suggest doing a beautiful Celtic knot on the paddle. But then I LOVE such things. I've a couple I'd insert here & show you. (I haven't figured out how to insert images yet though.)

A less expensive and very reliable place to buy the medium Josephine paddle is Blowfish.com. They also have some other worthwhile items.

I am not entirely sure that I am a sub I think it has to do with the simple fact that I haven't got my life started yet. But CBT Mistresses are not fun :eek:. I always thought the idea of some woman ruling me was hot as ever so that is why I decided to try it. I just unfortunately had a bad experience and it messed me up A little bit but I am hoping to get back in the game. :rose:

Yes, thanks. I have seen that skirt but I don't like the straps. I have also seen one that is longer and then laces up from the buttom to the butt. I have seen one in a picture that I really liked. It was leather, went down to almost the knees and opened up around the butt making the cheeks push out a bit. Sort of like lifting them and offering them up to be spanked. Unfortunately I can't find anything like that yet.

I am considering making altering a pencil skirt I have into a spanking skirt. It would look so profeesional and business like from the front with a blouse but from the back a tight hole with an exposed ass. I just wish I could sew !!!
 
If you're good at spacial relationships, you can figure out how to sew. Just get a pattern & study clothes you already own. That's how I taught myself. I just moved the pieces around in my head until they made sense. Then you need to practice a lot. :D

I am pretty good at spacial relationships. (Lots of practice reading Lego directions with my son..) I'll have to give this some thought. I do own a sewing machine but the only things I have used it for are curtains, Halloween costumes and Girl Scout badges.
 
For goodness sakes. If you can do Halloween costumes, you can do a simple skirt! You'll be just fine. I say go ahead and try it. If you get stuck, feel free to PM me & I'll see if I can help you. And surely others on here have some experience sewing & can help too? <looks around>
 
The skirt itself might not be two difficult but the hole in the back might be difficult. I can't just cut a hole in it. I would need to cut make sure it is in just the right spot and bind the edges somehow.

(just so you know, I got the only C in my middle school education in Home Ec. I had tried to make a skirt then, too )
