One of my black cats is a big fan of Momo from "Avatar."

They are very similar, even the way they jump up on people is the same. Also, they both love climbing into bags.

Jack is so obsessed with piratey things that he once dated Calypso, like that one guy. (Not him, the other guy.)

The new kid likes to help one of my roommates play WoW, but no-one casts Holy Wrath like the matriarch.

The top one is Black Alice, one of the most powerful magic-users in The DC Universe. She's capable of borrowing magical powers from other magic users for a limited time, robbing them of their abilities and taking them over completely. She's manifested Doctor Fate's powers, and Zatanna's, and quite a few others. (Last I checked, she rolls with The Shadowpact.)

Here, she's manifesting The Power of Shazam.

The bottom picture is the beautiful Mary Marvel, recently having fallen-- and risen, and fallen, and risen again --to the powers of darkness: as she no longer had access to The Power of Shazam, she bargained with Black Adam to be empowered by him, instead.

I'm just saying, if I got me some acronym-based magic powers, I'd probably try to look like one of these pretty little things.

Ech, well I've never actually read how the fight between Kara and Artemis plays out in the comics, so I kinda left my post open ended. Let me know if you want to talk things over, Chas.

I'm pretty sure this fight didn't happen in the comics. :: sheepish ::

They do train together, and I'm pretty sure when we come back to Themyscira in the comics (that shot with Harbinger and everybody watching, with Diana refereeing with those flags?) ...that Kara actually wins the sparring match.

But then again, that was after Artemis had trained her.

So it's up to you if you think Kara should win this one, too.
