Supreme Court Declares Same-Sex Marriage Legal In All 50 States

"And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Joshua 24:15

Praying for God to have mercy on this nation.
You seem to really understand the Bible and what God wants, so maybe you can answer a question for me. I haven't been able to find the answer via google.

My neighbor has been unemployed for a while and is getting pretty desperate. His daughter turns 12 next month which, according to Exodus, is the age she can be sold, so I told him I'd buy her and he agreed as that would help him a lot (he also has another daughter but I know I can't buy her, at least not for a while, as she's only 10).

The problem is I don't know what the going rate is for a 12 year old female slave. I'm hoping you can tell me what a fair price for her would be.
She's pretty attractive and a good worker and seems in good health.

And while I'm at it, I'm having trouble with my son. He's being really rebellious, just today he gave me some very bad backtalk when I told him to clean his room, which he has refused to do for the past month. And he won't do any of his other chores either.

I know the proper punishment, according to Deuteronomy, is to take him to the city elders for judgement, which I know how they will decide, then have him stoned to death by all the men in town. But we live in a fairly large town and trying to get everyone together, well, it's going to be a real pain.

Since I know the elders will say he should be put to death by stoning, do you think god would understand if I just take him out in the woods and kill him myself and save all the hassle for everyone?

Man, I never thought about the logistical issues with stoning someone in Los Angeles. I mean holy shit nearly four million people?! I don't think we have an arena that large and frankly I wouldn't trust my mom (or really anybody who isn't a professional athlete) to make it from the cheap seats to the field much less hit the individual.

Awesome to see y'all as well!

I do hope everyone is doing pretty good.

Have a great week!!

So I've been watching the idiot box....

I keep hearing (R)'s say the SCOTUS is legislating from the bench.....

What the fuck are you guys talking about? What law did they pass/enact?? Does the entire right wing of the US NOT realize the Bible=\=Constitution of these United States??

I wonder how the Oklahoma laws will be affect same sex marriage.
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news...l-abolishes-state-marriage-licenses/?page=all

The Oklahoma House of Representatives voted Tuesday to change state law to require couples to get a marriage certificate from an authorized member of the clergy after a formal ceremony. Couples who do not wish to have a religious ceremony may get a notarized common-law marriage affidavit.

Common law apparently doesn't recognize same sex marriage because there was no recognized same sex marriage in England, from where common law comes.

There cannot be a "Common Law Marriage" between persons of the same sex. This because the "Common Law" is the unwritten law brought by the colonists to the colonies from England. There was no English law that allowed for same sex marriage, therefore it never was allowed by "Common Law"

I foresee another SCOTUS case eventually about common law.

LOL every RW hater is going to nit pick every single thing they can out in front of the SCOTUS for the next 200 fuckin' years.

Something I don't understand...

"Once the state is removed from the equation, the center added, “no one can force another to accept their marriage, nor can they force another to reject that person’s own beliefs regarding an institution older than government.”

Why does the RW believe other people having different religious view being treated equally under the law is a direct attack on their beliefs/rights?

No one is invalidating or prohibiting traditional marriage. Yet they act as though that's exactly what has happened and they are being forced at gun point to become gay and like it!! LOL wtf is that shit about?

Great news! Now all you West Virginians can marry your same sex cousins, aunts, uncles, sisters, brothers, great grandmothers, great grandfathers, etc.

Don't worry, your church doesn't care. Just keep sending them your checks and make sure you keep voting Republican, and God will bless you.

I'm good with it and my church (which you, of course, don't know anything about). It's julybaby04 (one of your alts?) I'm more worried about. Church that's indoctrinated julybaby04 would, I think, respond to a member playing on a porn board with stones.

Naaah. What we'll do is fuck a Democrat ever chance we get.

They might be. The Mississippi governor is talking about the state not issuing any marriage licenses at all.

So ready and willing to cut their noses off.....lol it's fuckin' comical.

I really wish one of them would just so we could laugh at them trying to pick up the pieces.

This board is the same as any other.......and no one is talking about sex here (it is about politics).

As far as my church, there are no sinless people there. There are people who are forgiven there. There is no condemnation for past sins, there is being held accountable to what God commands.

I would be more worried if your church did not preach/teach that the practice of homosexuality is a sin. If your church does not follow the commandments of God and if your church has no distinction about being separate from the world, I would question your doctrine.

God is love, yes and absolutely. He also hates sin...all of it. He also judges each and every one of us (He judges those who do not choose Him one way, and He judges those who have accepted Him by how and what we did for His Kingdom while on earth).

One county in Alabama had already done this a few months ago. Zero marriage licenses.

Yeah, that's going to last. Maybe until the next local election when the public gets tired of stupid bullshit and threaten to vote them out.

Barring that the feds have ways of pushing issues, like withholding federal funding until they come around.

Oh, please do worry a lot then. :D

It will give you something to do as the world passes you by.

Which reminds me, what do you think is a fair price for me to pay my neighbor for his daughter next month when she turns 12? He's really anxious to sell her to me as a slave.

And also about my son, do I have to actually have him stoned to death by all the men in my town as god commanded, or is it ok if I just kill him myself?

I don't have an alternate presence here, although if I were a guy I'd probably pick MonsignorNoPants.

Is Mr. Palin still trying to sell that loser?

I take it this is what your mail-order degree pastor told you as a rationale for the porn videos he watches. :D
