I like venison when its properly prepared. I've had it when it was too gamey and...yuck.

If you have some strawberries or kiwis and can stick them in a blender and then freeze into cubes or something, they are great for sore throat. Cold is better than warm, I've heard. Get better!

I'm a really visual thinker...
My uncle was talking about "bagging a deer" at Christmas dinner and I just could not stop giggling... I imagined that deer would kick his sorry ass to the curb, along with that ridiculous bag :p

Enjoying the warmth of the fire looking out at the foggy and damp woods. Need to have a warm body to share this morning with!!! I can dream can't I?
 
Morning sickie and curious. I agree with curious, nothing better than a warm body. Thought I was going to freeze my delicate parts when I took the dog out.
 
A&M won their bowl game, Oklahoma is losing theirs...real bad, so now everyone needs to root for the Longhorns to win theirs tonight.

Now I stooped low enough to root for the Aggies, the least you can do is privately "pull" for the Longhorns in the bowl game.

Looks like the hill country is in for the possibility of freezing rain for the next 24 hours. I'm staying inside by the fire!
