Some of these places up here are so full of themselves, they think they're too good and it will ruin their "ambience".

And what I find most surprising about the two of you is that you are unaware of the very thing that makes them so popular among women. Even more so than men!
The have THE cleanest bathrooms you will ever use in public. Massive, open spaces, bright lights, plenty of sinks and stalls, nice custom tile and spotless!!! As we men often say, the world is OUR urinal. But women need and deserve more civilized facilities. And Buc-ees is the nicest by far!
Not to mention they have plenty of gas pumps, cheap gas and the inside is as large as a Walmart with just about anything you could ever want or need on a road trip.
And NO, I am not a spokesman for the place. Although maybe I ought to be!

I remember making my ex-boyfriend stop at the one between Houston & Dallas. I said "You HAVE to experience this place!" He looked at me like I was some sort of alien.
