Drove up from Central Texas to Ft. Worth and back this week. Wow! The miles and miles of parched corn was depressing. I mean everywhere I looked, I saw stunted, brown, dead corn. Horrible.

Farming is a tough, tough life...

lol... I'm sure there are a few hereabouts who wouldn't mind.. ;)

Rain is quite the commodity in Texas that is for sure... so although I lost my electricity for hours and couldn't see my hand in front of my face while it rained, it was very welcome. Looks like we are in for a week of punishment soon so anything to cool it off is appreciated!

I have noticed there are an abundance of thunderstorms up in the metro-plex this time of year.

I love me some lightening and thunder!!!
