As long as someone made some tea, I'm in. If not I can bring my own.:)

Got a pot of hot water and either Earl Grey or Irish Breakfast tea. If'n ya want lipton or luzianne, ya need yer own.

Oh...Irish breakfast for me please. Thank you
Anyone need toast or biscuits with their eggs?

Neither do I. I should have asked my Mom to show me how so it is store bought then.

Easy enough to do. Basic ingredients from the pantry, assuming you cook regularly. Need a hot cast iron griddle and a hot cast iron skillet or tortilla iron.

Make the dough, roll the ball drop on the griddle, press, flip after 30secs or so, press until done but not burnt.

A bit more work than biscuits, but not hard a'tall

Thanks for the cooking tips. I may just have to try it.

corn ones I can make... it's only Masa and water... and a hot griddle... easy as pancakes! (Sorry, I can't eat the flour ones, so if you want me to bring the tortillas, they'll have to be corn.)

But forget the breakfast teas... I need coffee... with just a touch of cream.

White wings has a pre-made mix and most masa harina bags have a recipe. the trick is having the cast iron or a tortilla press. I like cast iron 'cause it's a multi-tasker and just too useful not to have around. 'Sides, nothing cooks like bit of well seasoned cast iron

I totally  cast iron to cook.

Cooking tips from 1SB. Next time I will arrive early to help and learn. :D
I hope you can make campfire coffee and start a decent cookfire!

Need corn tortillas for the migas anyway. You're on tortilla patrol!

Gladly... but I will warn you. Tomasa's abuela told me I was too white to make 'real' tortillas -- even though I was in her kitchen, using her recipe, learning how to from her.

Yeah, I was 'too white' to ever make decent fried chicken,
Or "not Italian enough" to make a proper chicken parmesian
Or "too male" to ever make a good pie crust
Or pick a whatever to cook a whatever.

I'm not a great chef, but I'm a damn fair hand in the kitchen.

But sometimes, a people need the pride and ego to cover their admiration, which is what I suspect Tomasa's abuela was doing.

Trust me... I didn't take it as an insult. I thought, and still think, it was funny. And if you can make a proper pie crust... more power to ya. That is one thing I have never mastered.

I guess my post did come off as a bit defensive...

No, I wouldn't think you'd be insulted.

Pie crusts are just like any other cooking. Takes the right ingredients, the right kitchen ware and a bit of practice.

Didja use shorting, lard or butter for your crust?
