I drove out to Lake Travis for the first time in about two years the other day, just to see what it looks like. It's really sad. We could use a good strong tropical depression this summer to liven things up around here. Maybe two.

Also, Note to self: When you become a multi-millionaire, buy a house on Lake Austin, not Lake Travis. :D

They're calling for another dry one this year too. Due to watering restrictions... debating on just putting astro turf out in the front lawn instead of just watching it die all summer from lack of water. Ha-ha!!

Looks like softball season is about to start. Hoping to get out to the fields for practice this weekend.

Poker tonight though!!

I think today is an inside day off. I was hoping to get out and work on the project truck. Still too chilly at the moment.
 
Looks like the Ranger's tickets go on sale March 9th. Hmmmm... weekday afternoon games looking in my future!

Well yes, since my weekend started today...

I was hoping to get out and do some work on the project truck, but Mother Nature is having none of that.

So today, I am being house bound and being a domestic God, along with surfing some serious 'net.
 
I'm going to catch the Dropkick Murphy's concert in ATX tonight. Still learning this city but love their music so figured why the hell not! Anyone else going?

Damn, if I wasn't going out of town, I'd try to catch that show.
 
Playing the part of "mom to too many kids with too much going on" this weekend. Hopefully getting out to play pool and catch a few drinks with my brother for his birthday.
 
I'l stick with the Astros, yes they do suck, but I have years and years invested in them hate to back out now. But the Cowboys now they SUCK.

Live is better in Texas...
