I love the Dropkicks... HOWEVER, I saw them in Austin a few years ago and was a little disappointed. They were great as always, but the audience was mostly 17-19 year olds who think they're hard-core punk rockers... Kind of annoying :\

I wanted to see them play in Boston on St. Pats a while back so badly - THAT would have been an awesome show :)

Oh no... I hope it's better this time. Seeing them in Boston on St. Pats would be very awesome. You are correct. :)

The best part of living in Texas... 19 inches of snow on Monday... 42 degrees on Wednesday. Predicted high next Monday... 72. :)

very funny... actually it's very creative.... and I might just do all that... but it would likely be a 5 minute major...

I moved to Ft. Worth the same year the Stars moved to Dallas. I was dating a guy who loved hockey, so we went to several games and I just fell in love with the game. The ass is long gone, but the love of the game remains.

5-hole -- slang term for a shot between the goalie's legs
High Sticking -- penalty where the stick is above the player's shoulders or above the crossbar on the goal
2 minute -- time of minor penalties where one team has an advantage of 1 player for the time of the penalty
5 minutes -- time of major penalities
