Thank you ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

Posts can deleted now, but if people saw the posts, do you not believe them just because you don't like what you hear?

Then, you compare names, and cross check things said and look for similarities. Doesn't take long. And then you have to decide for yourself on what makes sense and what doesn't, but first, you need to put in a little bit of work. About the same amount of time as it takes scrolling through a topic.

Cool story, bro.

People,

There is a very easy solution to your Emily-related discombobulation. Put me on ignore.

No more threads that disturb your inner peace. No more posts that elevate your blood pressure. Itโ€™s the obvious thing to do and will make your Authorsโ€™ Hangout experience so much more serene.

Why anyone would chose not to do this is beyond me. Unless of course they get some sort of twisted gratification out of being constantly outraged. Unless they get off on hate-posting. Unless they care very deeply about what I think of them and really want to share.

But Iโ€™m sure no one here is that warped, right?

Iโ€™ll miss you terribly, but use the ignore button. Itโ€™s what itโ€™s for.

Peace!

Oh, and hereโ€™s a calming image:

Agree with @Voboy. This image is not calming. It's infuriating.

Why are there concentric ripples emanating from the base? It's not a fountain. There's no water dribbling down it.

Also, why is it floating in the middle of this body of water? Is it on a pedestal? If so, who put it there? For what reason?

And why is the enormous body of water perfectly still? The surface is mirror smooth. How likely is that given its size? Does wind not exist on this planet?

Absolutely insane for you to post this. Would appreciate a trigger warning next time.

This OP seems to understand these numbers far better than I do (which is kinda a low bar), and so I usually defer to her expertise on these kinds of questions. Her tracking is more thorough than I'll ever do, and whatever data analysis she's performing is something she seems to have a great deal of experience with and confidence in.

Which is to say that when she differentiates between sweeps of "basic dumb bombs" and the kind of deeper sweeps she is now claiming to see, I have no reason to doubt that she's done her homework. She's saying that whatever has happened this time was fundamentally different than the usual sweep, and I lack the ammo to say she's wrong.

So, as far as I can tell, she's right. @MelissaBaby seems to have experienced something similar, as well. Whether all that portends any kind of long-term change in how Laurel and Manu handle these things remains to be seen.
The only reason this sweep is considered deep and comprehensive by the OP is because it affected the OP's scores in a positive direction by wiping out a personal troll's handiwork. Meanwhile, the overwhelming majority of people saw nothing, or nothing out of the ordinary. The OP happened to be in a dataset that revealed the pattern of trolling, and wiped it out. The fact that the OP's PM clique also saw benefits only indicates the trolling likely originates from someone watching the forum. Nothing else.

A truly deep ( contest grade ) and comprehensive ( large data set ) sweep immediately elicits an unmistakable response, and would shake up the toplists in such a way as to be undeniable. There wouldn't be one or two people reporting things. It would look like bloody VE day around here. LOL

Only if you found it funny. ๐Ÿ˜€

Funny, no, but predictable.

The laughing emoji is used when someone has run out of things to say. I use them on people who tend to use them, because they think it makes them look good, as if they're above saying anything. The problem is, you use them, then you say something afterwards, completely ruining any effect that emoji may have had with your lack of a critical response.

You think people hate you, but you don't inspire that kind of emotion, which is why you aren't put on ignore.

You're not that important.

I'm not that important.

No one on here should be that important to anyone.

Again, I lack the ammo to be able to critique her math. Perhaps you don't.

And what critical response was i supposed to offer to your claims without evidence?

I laugh at things I find funny. Like flat earthers and Emily conspiracy theorists.

That's the point, you offered nothing because you didn't know how to respond and so you fell back onto old, stand-by answers of laughing emojis and the "cool story, bro," response pretty much ending the conversation because you were unable to continue it but you didn't want to bow out because you thought you'd lose face.

If you're going to bow out, do so on the emoji.

Let me append my previous statement slightly. For most, it would look like VE day. For some, it would be an armageddon, because they would be confronted with the unfortunate truth that their fans are involved in the trolling when their scores go in the opposite direction of everyone else's.

Fair.

I was going for a pussy pic, but then that's not calming either. So I guess we'll just have to remain un-calm.
This is a classic. My cat (Poe as in Edgar Allen because...I'm me) with a look of total disdain as my hamster tries to attack her through the cage

I can only apologize - Iโ€™m going to put a trigger warning on all my posts going forward ๐Ÿ™„.

No joke, no one here has more knowledge in these matters than @RejectReality and not just the sweeps, trolls etc, but just about all things Lit and how it works to the point there were some here who thought he was a 'mole' who worked for Lit and spied on us peasants.

I heard Reject has augmented his body with cyberware and that he drops acid before hooking up to the internet, which allows him to deduce algorithms in the 4th dimension.
