Thanksgiving Dinner

I realized this morning I have not bought my Turkey yet... better get on that before all the nice sized bottles are gone. You see, I prefer my Turkey Wild on ice and/or mixed well with Diet Coke or hot chocolate.

Turkey, stuffing, mashed taters, gravy, green beans, succotash and cranberry sauce.

and rolls.

We’re doing a very traditional turkey spread with all the fixings. We are not traveling this year because most of us here and their are working. That is probably a very good thing because the snow it is a coming.

Oh, noes!

Are you sure you don't need a trip to Cracker Barrel for a chicken fried steak and mashed taters for dessert?

A chicken fries the steak? And you eat if for dessert?

I think I do need a trip to Cracker Barrel.

I want all in.

making the pumpkin cheesecake today with its gingersnap bottom, a layer of chocolately (hopefully) gooey then the actual cheesecake filling on top. topped with whipped cream (not from a can or a tub) and chocolate shavings

hmmn, may rethink that and not top it with cream as H prefers that heavily sweetened cream crap. maybe i'll just pipe some around the edges or serve it separately. dammit.

Just spatchcocked the turkey, which has been brined and will be roasted in the smoker (probably 2 Hrs+/- @ 350-375*). Will get the components for corn casserole this afternoon. That's all that I'm in charge of: bird and corn casserole. I feel fully employed.

must make final decision on what kind of rolls to make

The best ones take time, because they need more steps.
