The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Thank you, B2. The past week has been like walking through a stressful dream :ROFLMAO: I am trying to be positive and hope I will be able to fix it without surgery.
I hope the PT helps. Avoiding surgery whenever possible is best. You situation reminded me of getting a smart watch. I live alone but if I had a back situation like yours, who would know?

I managed to drive myself to the ER somehow. Drove 20 mph and barely made it through the ER doors. It was surreal. They did treat me well.

I miss chasing Lilli but happy she is getting to bed earlier with sound sleep.

I slept in today which means not up at 4.

Today I see my girlfriend since she and her family went on a mini vacation. I also will be getting together with friends for football games.

Tomorrow I start baking and making vegetable soup.
I am making soup too.

Bringing it up tomrrow to my buddy who has bad MS and to his dad who just had surgery. I wanted to do a low key drop off the soup and not be too obtrusive, but the dad is making a big deal about it. I am sure the sambucca will flow and many jokes, tales and repeated stories will be told!

Back to pester you all, after a week away. What a week too…so tiring and full of emotion as I got to cuddle my beautiful grandson and my daughter. I don’t mind saying I got emotional,a few time this week and blubbed. No stiff upper lip for this English Gentleman lol. All that matters is Mum and baby are well despite the trauma thank the Lord.

Also saw my elderly uncle and aunt, two cousins and second cousin and her husband and children. They are over from Canada so it was precious and rare family time and a lunch. On the way home we stopped off with my mum so I celebrated another birthday with her and got out for lunch. Not many guys in their late sixties get to see their Mom on their birthday.

So home now feeling so blessed and great to be back amongst you friends drinking my pissy tea.
We have missed you..... so glad you got the time with everyone.... I am sure that your daughter was so glad to have her papa give her a cuddle..... my dad has been taking me to a couple doc visits for procedures.... I think he likes feeling needed.... my mom and I are taking a trip in the spring..... she wants to go to Minnesota where she grew up and see her parents graves. We are taking 2 or so weeks to meander there, eat at as many Italian restaurants as she wants too and spend time together.

Dads like to help. They know they raised strong daughters but still want to be close to you and helpful. It’s our way of showing love.

Paris had got really quite tired and dirty but then they spent billions of euros tidying it up for the Olympic Games.Back to its shiny best now.
How’s the restoration on the Notra Dame coming along? Glad I was able to see it and tour it before the fire. I for one love Paris. Had great times there. The Paris Air Show is not to be missed for sure. Now, we had a baby in tow every time we went and I have to say, Parisian’s are most accommodating with ladies and babies! Front of the line, seats given up, etc…

As the song goes…”warm summer breezes, the French wine and Cheeses…put his ambition at bay…”.

Off day today (but go in late night…third shift again) so college football day in the hotel…more Owly MZ ;

They are releasing her today with scripts for Tramadol & 2 other meds
They also found four polyps in her lungs, benign, thankfully
That's wonderful hun... I'm sure she's in your capable hands. And just remember as her caregiver you need to take care of yourself as well. We will all be here as a sounding board and will give you whatever support or assist you however and whenever we can...😘🤗💋❤️
