NG is naso-gastric. The tube is inserted into the nose and ends in the stomach.

OG, in this case, is oral-gastric. Not Original Gangsta. Although anyone who can insert an OG tube on themselves IS an OG! This tube is inserted into the mouth and ends in the stomach.

Both types of tubes bypass the taste buds. If you know and can sweet talk an HCP into inserting one for you, it would make your prep a bit easier. However, the insertion is not pleasant and there are risks involved.

I used to hate winter but now I like the change. Still my least favorite season, but I do like it more.

November and March are transition months here. I dislike them as they are indecisive

My kid is a CRMA; she says everyone loves Twilight; you forget it all!

That looks like Booboo as a kitten. He lived to be 11 and a half. He loved everybody. He was nicer than this h000man deserved.

Another dreary day but it’s warmer and stopped raining. An old friend is playing a small bar up the road a piece and going to go watch him perform tonight! Haven’t seen him since before the lockdowns. Looking forward to some good music! Hope everyone has a nice start to the weekend! Seems the weather may keep some of us grounded, but even those times can be fun! Enjoy!

Per local reports, we need more deer hunters. More deer die in this state from automobiles than any other cause. I have had several in my yard. And I live in the City.

I can attest that NJ is a deer paradise. It’s not their fault, we have completely overdeveloped the land. And even though we’re in a rural area, there are too many houses, gardens and not enough open space to hunt the deer.

Used to be when I was a kid, seeing a deer was a huge deal, I probably see to 20 deer every day now.

Too much development, not enough predators, houses too close to hunt effectively.

I have tooken out Eye-talian sausage from the frozen to defrost so's I can make some more Wonderer Gravy. It's gotten to be one of my favorite recipes around here. A veritable Go-To.

Up this way they severely restrict what we can hunt. Wolf packs are laying into the herd pretty hard and we still have lots of hunters. Hunting has been bad for a few years now. It's probably close to a decade since we have had doe permits up here. That's always the litmus test in my mind, if there's enough deer they let you take does you have a large herd.
