I pulled out of my parking space and managed to slid down a slight hill, maybe 50 yards or so, having no control and didn't hit anyone. Ice is the worst!
Can be is the operative word. Getting old is what I see when I look at mine!
I only ever got stuck in snow one time and it was within walking distance to the house. I had 4 wheel drive but there was a snow drift. I went home to call the township to report it. I took a shovel and salt back to the SUV and by that time the plows had moved it, plowed the road and left it sitting high and dry and ready to drive away!I agree, I’m good on snow and ice is harder. Plus the other area worried me. I have a small all wheel drive and great tires which helps.
If I have one skill, one true talent… it’s the ability to estimate things (numbers, stance, range, weight, travel time, etc)You have no idea just how impressed/amazed I am that you actually counted them!!![]()
That is the perfect snow. Covers the ground except for sidewalks and roads.View attachment 2430974A view from my garage. Snow on trees and lawn. Nice but cold outside.
It’s like teddy bear fierceness.I'm a fan of your fierceness.

Gorgeous pic! Morning z indeed.Morning all and hope you’re having a good Freitag! Not too terribly early start as the last couple of days. Ending up in the Great Salt again. Dry and cold is the forecast. Crossing fingers we get that hotel with the restaurant that had those elk medallions! Everyone have a great start to the weekend.
Keep a keen eye out for coyote’s, fox, and squirrels! Your autumn MZ:

That is really beautiful, B2.I have always been a morning person even when my LW was a night owl. I was up and made coffee and breakfast for her everyday. When I was sleepy in the evening she coaxed me into sleeping on the couch with my head in her lap as she stayed awake. We made our differences work.
Science is not dry! It's awesome! (Says the geeky engineer in the corner... )I was trained on presentations. Science can be dry...
Running low 40s here also. Dropped to 35 over night. Not cold enough for frost yet. It's actually 48 here right now. I was tempted to enjoy my coffee outside this fine morning!

Well, I'm here to tell you retirement is great! Some days I wonder how I had time to work. You're always so busy, W! You'll do just fine when you get there!![]()
