I don’t think they do as some schools are closed. My daughter is on it. She gave me the day off today as it’s my BD.

Now, this is a classic example of how my mind works. I read this in 2 ways. One is a weather report in two stages. The other is a short weather bulletin followed by a personal observation. A psychiatrist would have a field day

Not humid, just nice low 70’s and …don’t hate me all you winter warriors up north. I’ll soon be joining you so look out for my whining when I get there! I’m usually acclimated by this time but we had our little Indian Summer this year and the blood is a little thin.

Dog wanted out this morning. Opened the door, and she just stared from four feet away. It was a big nope! Tried to send her out, she did a complete 180 maneuver at the threshold and ran back to her bed.

I don't know how much is out there, but it's a lot.

Anyway, another snow day for the kids. Lucky little buggers, we never had them when I was little!

We had more closures from cold weather than snow.
Temps -20 F and windchills -40F
Dad would impose the rule that only he left the house on those days. He would pick up any groceries, etc. and go to work but everyone else inside where it was safe/warm. Poor mom - so many kids cooped up in that house with her on those days.
