Leaving Pittsburgh area this morning after rush hour. Great visit as always. They are such good people.

The PA turnpike is a gorgeous road for an interstate. Usually when we take a long weekend, we’ll take back roads or US30 part of the way home. Find cool little towns or cafes or bar. Sometimes we just find little random towns in central PA and put Google maps on and wander around for the better part of a day.

But today we have to get back quickly.

I have a project at work going live today but I put in for this long weekend months ago and the live date got moved back, so I’ll have to keep an eye on my work email.

All good. There’s a lot on my plate this week and next. Have a good, safe and productive Monday. I was gonna say happy too, but it’s Monday. 🤪

We got back from western PA late this afternoon. Pretty decent rain all day and all way back, but really light traffic.

An excellent late breakfast in Bedford, PA.

I will catch up when I can. I have a schedule from hell the remainder of the work week.

Project go live seemed to go rather smoothly. Coupla small glitches, but nothing too impactful.

I think the next two weeks are the craziest in the whole calendar year. Feels that way to me anyhow.
