You're a stronger woman than I am!23F right now. Was out on my deck for a while over lunch. Fleece pants, flip-flops, and a short-sleeved tee. Felt good.Would have wanted a fleece hoodie if I was going to sit out and read the whole break though.
I'm still up. Trying to get caught up here.Wound down early and ready to sleep! Up too early this morning.
I hope you get some sleep tonight too. Too many of us have been waking up in the middle of the night!
Maybe wear a hoodie under the jacket? I understand needing to stay warm and dry!Hey hi and thanks for your warm welcome.. my jacket also needs a flannel lining and a hood to keep me dry n warm in the rain ..
( good thing I can sew)
Soooo yeah .. its raining here![]()
Absolutely! Although I tend to keep my phone in the "bra pocket!"Raining here too.... jackets need lots of pockets too...for the essentials !!
Congratulations, Wat!Long day. Decent day. Passed welding - 98/100. No shit. Signing up for TIG next go-'round. He agreed to show me a thing or two on MIG and told me what machine to buy. We'll get the hay house/car barn going before we know it.

No. I take a lot of pictures. My current phone has a 100X zoom. The S24 Ultra has a 200X zoom. That's the seduction for me.I was Samsung for a long time. The corp phone was the apple. When I stopped working the iPhone won the battle. Too many limits with Samsung. And I couldn’t make the music work. Most of mine was on cd which I imported via iTunes. The other thing that won me over was the icamera and the settings. Not to mention the Live Photos. I’m still a windows guy. But once sucked into the apple orbit and able to keep my data out of their cloud everything was so much simpler. Even more useful. Even for me who avoids the phone except for necessity. My phone is crippled to a certain degree. For security I have not associated my number with my identity or anything potentially related to finance, credit or investment.
Do you do something where your Samsung will produce that much data use?
An old boss used to do that!Morning. Started work early and going til at least 5 because people think 4pm is an appropriate time for an hr long meeting...... they canceled 3x..... hopefully they will cancel again
I like the post it note on the mirror. Thanks!Post-It Note on the bathroom mirror??
And supplies handy - visible if possible.
Jar of Vicks in the shower??
I had to do that w/ my migraines for a while.
Remind myself what to do and where stuff was - and keep some stuff out on a shelf or the side of the sink so it was visible b/c my brain could not remember it during.

I know that pain!Have a great day all. Dragging my carcass off to the gym. Trainer day there will be pain lol
Do NOT accept responsibility for the missing equipment! And NEVER pay for your employer's stuff. That's why they have insurance. IANAL but if shit gets real, you might consider consulting with one.Well today just turned into a complete shit show. Bottom line, two pieces of equipment that I was responsible for, but were stored in another building, have turned up missing. I was directed (of course verbally, never in writing) to leave that equipment at the remote site. They will initiate an investigation but eventually I’m sure I’ll be held liable and have to pay for them. Fuck that. I’m livid right now.
Sorry to dump this here, but I don’t have many other areas where I can vent. Hope everyone else is having a better day.
I’ll keep you warm.
I would be SO freaked out!Got a personal recco on a handyman.
They were here working on a few small issues. I mentioned my bathroom fans don't do anything. So we got the stepladder and he took a look.
The one had the plug in backwards. Was blowing air into the bathroom, not out. Switch the plug around and it passed the papertowel test. Yay!!
He offered to check the other b/c we both assumed if one was wrong...
As soon as he removes the fan cover... over a half dozen dead wasps fall out onto his head.
He's coming back tomorrow to add some screens and spray insulation to both in hopes of preventing them from getting into my unit. May not be the only way they've been getting in - but this portal is now closed!!
So glad it was him on the stepladder removing the fan cover. (Is that wrong of me??)
I followed up with a call and email to the association. They're adding it to their Spring Action List. Hope there's something they can do on the roof vent side of things to keep these critters O-U-T!!
Not enough Epi-Pens in the world for this issue!!
Nope, nope, NOPE!!!
I am SO sorry! The countdown started the minute the equipment was identified as missing. They have 14 days to initiate an investigation and if I’m found liable I’ll be financially responsible to pay for the missing equipment (after depreciation of course). It’s the Federal Government so what do you expect.
And to add one more kick in the balls, I was reviewing my online depot card statement and I found an authorized charge. Now my card is locked while the bank does their fraud investigation, two weeks before Christmas.
And I wonder why I can’t get into the holiday spirit this year.
Hope everyone is having a better day. Thanks again for listening.
