The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Not sure.... it was awful..... unrelenting and I couldn't make it stop.....
I have been drinking a lot of pop and eating a little too christmas-y......so back on the plan and only water now

My test said I had redness and some inflammation where my esophagus goes in to the stomach.... maybe I re irritated it?

I had surgery and took tylenol.. for me to take a pain pill it is bad...
Hopefully you feel better today. You sounded more chipper.

I told someone that there brain and mouth was like a manure spreader

My dad had a Snap-On guy stop years ago to sell him tools. My dad bought some and he never got a bill. He called the company and they had no record of the guy no record of the tools or bill... nothing they were like good luck. So my dad got a whole bunch of Snap-on tools for free. He tried to pay for him offered to have somebody else stop by the house to look and send a bill they were like no worries
That was really
Good of your dad!

I have never had a snap on tool. I always liked the old craftsman brand and have a lot of it. It’s good enough, I’ve found.

OK…this is weird.

According to my mother. We’re related to the Ritter’s!😮. Tex Ritter was my maternal grandmothers first cousin…talk abut some family history…I had forgotten that’s what John died of🥺

The good news is I’m all signed up and get my test on Monday morning. Gonna take it real easy through this weekend! 😂
That is really wild!

Your related to jack tripper from threes company!

The little old 45-70 is flinging a 325 grain boolets here. Although some guys like the 430+ grain heavies. That's getting close to the arrow weight for the compound.

Broadhead for that is 125Gr, although considerably slower at 262 fps.
I have fired my friends 45-70 lever action. I actually have a 1872 Springfield trapdoor that fires 45-70. I have never fired it. It’s actually @Mrswonderer s but it has to fire 45-70 government which is a slight less powerful round.

I don’t know if I will ever fire it though. It’s pretty damn clean.

I’ve really been struggling with my sleep the last couple of weeks. Ever since the clocks changed I’ve been falling asleep right after Jeopardy, at 7:30. Then I can’t fall back asleep around 11, or I go to bed and wake up at 3.

Fuck this time change.

It’s been kinda bad and making me cranky.

But tonght we tried a new tactic. During jeopardy we walked laps around our house circuit in between questions and paused after each question. Walking keeps me going. It worked pretty well.

Maybe a new habit.

Most commercially available ammo is loaded to low pressure levels and should be safe in those old guns. The big name companies don't want the liability. Just watch out for ammo made for modern lever guns and the like.

Yeah, I would only use 45-70 government in that. It’s lower pressure.

Same as my Garand and my m1903. I use 150 grain 30-06 for that, not standard 180gr hunting rounds.

One of my VA appointments has been for chronic insomnia. Lots of talk about sleep quality and sleep hygiene (keep your bedroom cool, bed is only for sleep and sex, etc.) but the one I’m working on is no napping and going to bed later. I don’t understand the science since I always thought 8 hours of sleep was the goal but I guess as you age you need less sleep so to get quality sleep you go to bed later and wake up at the same time everyday. I’m staring to work on this for the weekend so I can get ahead of it next work week. We’ll see how it goes.

There are a number of good tips and tricks.

I started a “how to” thread a few years ago when sleep was really tough for me and it did help.

Excellent!! Really glad this is helping you. 🫂

Yes, I'm aware
My body is bucking the system. The older I get - the more sleep I need.
Overjoyed to be a Medical Maverick 😣

I hope you find something that works for you BSK 🫂
All right. Turning in.

Night greasy spooners. Sleep well, all.
Sweet dreams! Hope you sleep well tonight.

Here’s the link to the old thread. There’s some good stuff I learned from it.

https://forum.literotica.com/threads/how-to-sleep-better.1578439/
I remember this thread. I feel I mostly wake up to pee. Or since I have the tv on the move ends and the credits or commercials between the flicks are loud.
What I learned since was unrelated in a way. I rode my bike a lot during the spring. Then I had urinary symptoms that stumped the urologist. After being tested for everything evil under the sun that I had no way to catch, A thousand or two dollars in copay/coinsurance later, I was fine. Not. Improving but still uncomfortable. Finally she was asking about anything that changed. I mentioned the bike riding and that I ordered a seat without the middle so I could ride longer. Stopped riding the bike and improved much better. She suggested Physical therapy. That was an odd conversation but covered all the muscles down there. She gave 3 exorcises for pelvic floor. Different ways to do Kegals. It seemed to do nothing for me at first. But now 12 weeks or so later and doing fairly well at concentrating on those squeezes I can hold them longer like she said I would and the best part is I don't wake up to pee now until 6am or later. I still go to bed most nights by 10. Or am at least in bed. I think sleep because I usually have to watch Gutfeld the next day because I fell asleep. The Kegals helped in other ways too.
Something else I think is benefiting my sleep is it does not matter what time I wake up in the morning now. I wake up when my body wakes up. And I am falling asleep at 6 when I wake for a moment.

My turn - sweet dreams everyone!
While I get to sleep in tomorrow, if the roads are in good condition I will be out of town for a surprise party
🤫 don't tell
