The blood panel came back mostly good. Cholesterol a few points over what they like to see but the concern was my glucose was high…diet exercise…blah blah blah…🙄. I get the CT scan mañana so that will be the big reveal. When I checked in they were like, it’s going to be a month…then he said, “oh, just had a cancelation!” I can’t believe I’ve been able to knock this stuff out before Christmas. Oh, and my PA was cute as a bug! 😍😁😍

I love when I find all the docs and nurses appealing. Makes the visit all that much better even with bad news.

The best part is she laughed at all my stupid jokes! 🤣.

We have two major Health groups here in town. I’ve used the rival one before just due to the fact that’s where I was sent. This trip was exceptional from check in to check out. A pleasant doctors visit…who knew?

I was fearful when I switched from my companies group policy to Obama care. I miss my doctor. But the big hospital doctors where I go now I am pleasantly surprised. I do read the bios and am selective. So far nothing wrong I’ve not seen a doctor yet only PAs. Seems like they did all the work in the past anyway.
 
My nephews girlfriend just broke up with him over a text...then blocked him....

My nephew is better off because their lives were going in different directions. They were sure unevenly yoked in relation to lots of things and her mothers are a nightmare. One is an alcoholic. The other is manipulative and has lots of untreated mental health issues....except for the pot and other sundry methods she uses to treat....

I have never been so grateful for a breakup in my life. That being said..

what a little bitch to break my boys heart...he is a prize and if I was a girl mom I would be happy to have him dating my nephew. I am not just saying this... he is so respectful and kind and just a good boy..... over a text.... really...little bitch.... she better not come sniffing around again.... she has done this twice... she doesn't get a 3rd chance with me

Yes, sniping at someone.
And while the rest of the world hunts wild snipe, we in the US know the Snipe Hunt as a practical joke. That's what comes to mind for me whenever a snipe hunt is mentioned. :rolleyes:

I remember doing Snipe hunts as a Boy Scout. It was an initiation with the new scouts sending them out with bags “hunting” for the imaginary creatures. I was shocked when I found out later in life that there is an actual Snipe.
 
Ok folks, I’m just not feeling it today. I found out yesterday that my boss will be out for another two months so I get to do his job as well as mine. It’s not his fault, he needs to get his health issues squared away, it’s just that I did the job for 8 months before he was hired and I haven’t seen much out of him in the 9 months he has filled the seat. Now I’ve got to pay catch up, right when the team is starting their holiday vacays. I can’t get into the Christmas spirit, God knows I’ve tried but it’s not happening this year. I’ll put on a happy face for my family, but I don’t see the joy this year. Between work, the holidays, and this new sleep schedule the VA wants me to do I’m exhausted. I’m not a risk to myself or to others, I’m just mentally and physically worn out.
