How awful! I'm glad you were able to get her back again.![]()
Thank you! Now she keeps hitting her head but her personality is intact.

Sweet horsesā¦Cold and damp here, too. Not as cold as it could be, and the wind ain't a-blowin'.
When Calypso was alive and when it rained, he'd let his buddy Telly inside the barn and then he'd stand in the doorway and keep the other two horses about in the rain. He and Telly were taller, so it was like the "must be this tall to ride this ride" sign, and he enforced it. First, the old white horse, Lafitte, died April of '23 and then Calypso died in July. He's not there to enforce it, but Gawyn (the dark brown horse) has it down as learned behavior. Funny thing is, Telly acts like his barn permission has been revoked. There is the ghost of a Danish warmblood standing where the photographer is, keeping these horses partly in the rain. Telly is the red horse. He's also at least got the thinking part out of the weather.

We grow the one in the middle
Night hun.Have a nice evening. I am watching football until my eye lids get heavy.
Night hun. Enjoy!
Sounds like a great day! Hope it was a great one!Good Morning everyone,
It's going to be a nice day today..almost 60° F in my area & sunny
Now just have to find somewhere to go...
You go K!!That is funny.... I AM going to attempt to clean out this filter thing on my front load washer. They have pictures. I can't help but think this is totally a boy job.... like fixing the pull cord thingy on my lawnmower because people will borrow it and crank on it and pull it out so it doesn't retract..... it only requires a gentle pull... prob because I maintain stuff .....
Sounds like that thing was a real runner! My best friend had a ā74 Gremlin, blue w white stripes and the little Gremlin on the back (which I donāt see on the above?), had a straight six, with a 3 speed stick I want to sayā¦it might have been a 4, but I do remember, It would fry the one rear tire driving in 3 gears!. Surf racks on top, we made quite the impression rolling up and piling out. Maybe for all the wrong reasons but we got noticed!
. Fun times

Love that! Great memories!!!We would make āfirecrackersā from caps
Start by getting a sharp, straight, sewing needle. Next, poke the needle through the powder spot on the cap roll. Continue zig zagging the needle and aligning the powder. When the roll is threaded onto the needle take a single paper match to make a fuse. Put the match head on the ācolumnā of caps and use clear Scotch tape. Add nd wrap it tight around the cap. Carefully pull the needle and donāt let the whole works spring out. Use tape to compress it with the paper end of the match sticking out. Thatās the fuse. It makes a firecracker a little stronger than a Black Cat
This is how we got firecrackers in a state they were banned
Careful that you donāt scratch with the pin. Youāll set off a hot flare in your fingers not an explosion
Lots of work to I make a single cap but what do ten year old kids in the ā60s do all summer
Weād line up 5 or 10 cap rolls and race to see who could hammer them the fastest. This all would go on for a couple hours until we got yelled at to stop
Oh the memories
When life give you oranges, ya gotta make lemonadeā¦.I am gonna stop ordering citrus with my grocery order
Do you all remember when I asked for 2 oranges and they brought 2- 5 labs of red grapefruit?
Well I ordered 3 oranges and they brought me oranges...... 2- 8 pound bags
What in all holy hell am I gonna do with 16 pounds of navel oranges
Hahahahahaha
My wife had an old neighbor like that. Just started getting all mean and ornery.Mid 60s -early 70s.
Even small strokes can mess with personality. My mom has a small a few years ago, she refuses to get tests or treatment and for about 2yrs she was 25% mom and 75% this mean depressed person which she had never been before, then she came back.
Nice!My wife had an old neighbor like that. Just started getting all mean and ornery.
Turns out his testosterone was really low. Got treatment and then went back to normal behavior.
āIve been ina bad mood for forty years!āNice!
Oh, but think of all the movies that would have drastically different storylines or *gasp* might never have been made if the Hollywood doctors knew about this...
That... that sounds like a Very Full DayIāve been in a bad mood for 40 or so day actually. Ever since the time change⦠and I have a few things on my mind. And dealing with some stuff.
All in all Iām an ornery bastard.
I had to take it out on something, so for some crazy reason I decided today was the day for a deep clean of the kitchen and our bedroom.
I didnāt get as far as the bedroom but I did clean the helm out of the kitchen. Threw out a bunch of old stuff, just gonna buy a new drain board.
And I busted a pipe a pvc pipe on the kitchen sink drain. It was already leaking a tiny bit and by the time I was done with it, it was fucked.
I didnāt get as far as fixing that.
Tomorrow morning.
Itās always something.
Made veggie lasagna for dinner.
Gnight.
