And we both live in Ohio where it's going to be cold and possibly snowy for the next few days.
I got that way a few days ago w @Mrswonderer. I couldn’t take looking at my kitchen or our bedroom for one more minute.I have so much stuff I want to do...should be doing and I am doing none of it.
I am feeling overwhelmed with clutter so I want to just clean stuff up and get rid of crap
Igloo?!?And we both live in Ohio where it's going to be cold and possibly snowy for the next few days.
All that moving around will help you stay warm, too.I think if you get started, you will feel better!
Mrs wonderer and I both get cold pretty easily too.Fill a clean knee high sock 3/4 full with rice (not instant) and tie a knot in the top. Heat in microwave 30-40 second intervals until warm.
Put a pillow on the floor (to insulate) then sock, then feet, then blanket on top (to keep the heat in).
When the rice starts smelling burnt, empty the sock and refill with new rice.
I'm the same - if my toes are cold, then I'm cold.![]()
It's far from an original idea. These sock like things are sold for good money - but you can make your own for a fraction of the cost. Rice, corn, peas - you get the ideaFill a clean knee high sock 3/4 full with rice (not instant) and tie a knot in the top. Heat in microwave 30-40 second intervals until warm.

It isThe nurse practitioner (she might be a witch for all I know) put me on blood thinner earlier this year. I'm colder this winter. I wonder if it's related?
Meanwhile, I turned up the heat.
i can hear my grandmother sayingI got that way a few days ago w @Mrswonderer. I couldn’t take looking at my kitchen or our bedroom for one more minute.
I was so tired of looking at stuff that had to be done.
She said “he who finds fault, finds work.”
But I couldn’t take it for one more minute, so did an all day deep clean of the kitchen. I still haven’t gotten around to purging old clothes and cleaning out my closet and cleaning the bedroom, but that’s next.
I think if you get started, you will feel better!

Im an Imperfectionist who can enjoy a bit of dust n cat hair till my beloved Wonderer can’t.
By the way.. my theory on Magic eraser sponges is that you buy only six and work them till they disintegrate. They expect you to throw them out when they begin to break down and grab another one, Not me.. our kitchen is fab clean on Six n Wonderer is
Smiling.![]()
There's a lot of cleaning life in those sponges. Even when they break into pieces. Squeeze every bit out of them. I tend to wear rubber gloves when I'm using stuff like that anyhow. Sometimes the path to clean gets messy.i can hear my grandmother saying

dust bunnies? or a warm nest this time of year?I confess. I'm a lazy housekeeper. TDK makes dust bunnies with her sheddings.
