The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

There's a lot of cleaning life in those sponges. Even when they break into pieces. Squeeze every bit out of them. I tend to wear rubber gloves when I'm using stuff like that anyhow. Sometimes the path to clean gets messy.

"They" say a bit of dirt and grime is good for our immune systems anyhow. 🤷‍♀️ The right kind of dirt/grime, sure.
When I deep clean and reorganize I make a hell of a mess

Happy Tuesday!!! Off work again today - we go back Thursday. Slept okay. Waiting for the morning cat races. Getting some writing done and feeling all productive.

An' shit . . . .

I am working and q lot of my team is off.... I don't have much to do so I am gonna slide through the day and leave early...... my work is all ll caught up

My son in law, former Marine, and medic, once told me to keep my torso warm and the rest will follow. So I wear vests. I will wear gloves and hats but focus on my torso.
My mom grew up in Minnesota and said cover your head and your butt...... but the torso thing makes sense. ...

If your leg is in a cast you can put ice behind your knee to "cool" the blood that circulates.....was told that by a podiatrist who took care of my mom when she broke something

No sense in hanging out and staring at the walls. I can web-surf at home. Or catch some eyelid movies.

TDK can lie on her side and turn her back end to look like she's built backwards. I'd run in and take a picture, but she'd turn all Camara-Slut on me and move to pose.

This is what I do. If my lower back is cold, I'm mizzable. If it is warm enough, the rest of me will be okay. Besides, there's not a bunch of packet material bunched up in my armpits when I wear a vest. A good hat helps prevent heat loss, and good gloves keep my hands happy. Er. Happier.

How could one not? She was sitting here on the computer table last night. She's pretty, she's alert, and she's personable. What's not to love? I have to move her when I crawl under the covers because she sleeps where I sleep when I'm not sleeping.

That Damned Kitten . . . .

e/t/a: my brain is a spinner . . . 24/7/365 . . . .

My friends refer to things as k(my first name) clean.....

When I moved in my house all the neighbors said she was a clean freak..... she wasn't.

I am lucky as the only mess I have to clean up is the one I make.

I found the perfect place to get rid of crap. It is a thrift shore that is connected to an animal.shelter that is close-ish to me

I have too much stuff
I am a collector of stuff.

I think it’s time to thin out some of my old soda and milk bottles. 🙄

i can hear my grandmother saying
He who finds fault, finds work.
Im an Imperfectionist who can enjoy a bit of dust n cat hair till my beloved Wonderer can’t.
By the way.. my theory on Magic eraser sponges is that you buy only six and work them till they disintegrate. They expect you to throw them out when they begin to break down and grab another one, Not me.. our kitchen is fab clean on Six n Wonderer is
Smiling. 😁
That is so true! No wonder I have so much work to do!!!

They are worth a bit of change too. I recall my parents had a 57 4 door hard top with a 283 with a 4 barrel and dual exhaust. It was fast and dad did manage to bend a vavle in it one time.
We've got a bunch of oldies there that we've driven at one time or another.... all are due for a restoration, but are really good, sound makings...
...a 57 Belaire 2 door hardtop, 57 Two Ten 2 door hardtop, a 63 Chevy wagon that's a cool old car, a 63 Buick Riviera, two 1950 Chevy Suburbans... and some "parts cars."
The two hardtops and one of the Suburbans weren't drivers...
We also have a 57 four door post that mom used to drive. That's what I took my driving test in.
