So...to all my handy men and women

Under my kitchen sink on the west side of the house where the cold wind pummel my house it is cold.... would it be okay to put some thing on the back wall of the kitchen cabinet...

What would I use?

Or do I just not worry about it?

Leave the cabinet doors open. It will let the warm room air in. You can put Styrofoam, or insulation between the pipes and wall for better insulation. They also make a electric pipe wrap you can wrap around the pipes and low electric sensors keep them warm so they don't freeze. I've seen people put heating pads behind the pipes although I don't suggest that. The pipe wrap is made specifically for that. They even sell the foam pipe wrap that will insulate the pipes.

Leave the doors open and use a wee space heater nearby on the miserable windy nights.

My kitchen freezes at 0*. The downstairs bath never does.

100%.

I just wouldn’t use any insulation that could potentially get wet. (Fiberglass)

5 hours behind the wheel fighting stupid tourists who can’t frigging drive. Get OUT of the left lane if you aren’t passing other traffic. 70% of the cars on the road had out of state tags. Thanks for coming here and spending your money, but GO HOME.

Great visit with our daughter and SIL. Good kids. Now enjoying some leftover brisket, beans and cornbread. Y’all have a good night.

I think this is true. I have honed my judgement skills.

In fact I’ve gotten so “good” that I can just judge people by their car and their driving. 🤪

I’d like to think I’m right, but my fam members would know for sure!! 😂
