Trying to tell you I don't know cars without telling you I don't know cars.![]()
I am just scared the house is 73 degrees..... when I moved into this house I thought everything was okay but it wasn't. let's see.....no insulation on the rim joists. standing water in the crawl space. my sump pump was a plastic bucket with nothing in it. my siding pops and their solution was to use nails to secure it. I can actually see the joints and some of my walls freaking separating and then going back together with the season. I got crumbling drywall in my bathroom where I don't think that they put the correct tape on it or get it right the root. I had storm damage and we went up there to check on it to make sure everything was okay he realized that there was nothing between the shingles in the plywood no underlayment no ice damn nothing so I had to replace the roof. The front and back porches are rotting off my screen door slammed open and the top rail of the back porch exploded into a million pieces like toothpicks. Oh and they're also put together with nails and not screws so all the nails are popping. the last owner used painters plastic as weed control so all the water was going right in the basement.. the mulch was was rotting and there was mold. Some of my doors don't close.. no foundation issues but settling. it just goes on and f****** on. And yes 8 got a home inspection. Some of this he couldn't help, but some he could. But it is what it is
She found herself a cozy warm spotHappy Friday!!! Doctor's appointment first thing and then off for a couple of hours of work, I reckon. Seems there's a winter storm headed this way. Isn't that nice???
That Damned Kitten is sound asleep where I sleep - as usual.
I know. Just typical stuff for me. I am a tough girl most of the time. I just need to feel sad and wobbly about it and then I rally and get tough and get it done..... thanks all for listeningFWIW, I feel the same way about this four-walls albatross I live in. It's a head of me and I don't want to be here any more, so I kinda just don't give a damn.
If you need to talk, you know where to find me.

What is it with cold brew? I never had it but I see it mentioned all the time. I will Google it.Fuck! I forgot to prep my cold brew last night!
Breaking the percolator out. I was in then 2:55 club and been hit back to sleep.
But now it’s close enough to a reasonable time, so I’m up and at em.
It will only be 11 months of writing 24 on checks still... I'll get there... Eventually. What day is it? Just kidding. 1/1/2025 messed me up!
There are many have that issue. Lucky, being retired I don't need to deal with dates very often. And the reminders on my phone help keep me straight. It will only be 11 months of writing 24 on checks still... I'll get there... Eventually.

In regards to your original question, freezing pipes would be the immediate concern. Do the pipes go down through the floor, or into the wall?
Can you check the temp with a thermometer? Or do you have an IR camera to look around the wall with (might be worth asking around if anyone you know has one. Great way to find heat leaks/poor insulation. )
