When you say taxi it sends me back to my NYC taxi driving days. I am in FL but still have my winter clothing for when I travel north. We are going to have a low of 53 here today and to my FL accimated body that feels cold. Hope the taxi ride this morning is a good one!

Grandpa’s taxi only shuffles the grandkids to their daycare. It’s my way of helping and seeing them as they grow up. I put children’s songs on and they sing. Except getting up early, its enjoyable.
 
Happy Monday!!! It snowed and now it has switched to some watery stuff which is, I suspect, Freezing Rain. That's based on how it's collecting on the bare tree limbs. Hmmmm. I'ma not going out in this shit. I may move my truck to the church parking lot. People drive fer-shit here in the rain, and sneaux just makes it worse. Worser. Worserer.

Faucet was a royal pain. The pipe was even worse. Cracked bronze fitting. Can't get a replacement today, and trying to mess with it made it worse. Had to clean and solder it shut as a temporary repair...

This new bronze is potable water 'safe', but starts springing leaks in only a few years.

I think I want to go back to carrying it with a bucket! 🤬

Had the same thing abt a week ago. Small leak under the kitchen sink.

Good luck. Hate projects where nothing goes right. Glad you have enuf wherewithal to have made a quick field expedient fix till you can get the right part.
