It's true! I've seen pockets into pants before. Now, I just don't buy them. Sometimes I buy men's pants. They ALWAYS have pockets. Unfortunately, I haven't found any men's yoga pants I like.

My gripe or rant is about aging and its effects on the body. I have essential tremors and I can’t do fine motor things like electrical as I used to. I now am experiencing some normal short term memory loss and need young folks to slow their conversation down or text it to me. I will likely miss something. I now have aching hips and know it won’t be long before I have a hip operation. And I don’t want to be one of those folks who only talk about their operations etc. but I do need my adult children to understand I am going through this period and I find it frustrating.

I felt I could vent here.

You bc a rant abt time to any one of us.

We are here to help or offer suggestions. Or to just listen.

I miss speaking with you, I just turned 71 in February. Lady K and I going to church this morning if it stops raining long enough to get in the car without getting soaked .

Telly is prone to get Foot Stuff. He stands in the barn when he needs to be outside. Their feet get sensitive when they stand where they pee for too long. Then you have to clean out the hoof and put stuff on it. He likes the attention and will willingly hold up his feet to have them worked on.


You can also put him out of the barn and set one 2x4 across the door and keep him in the pasture. Now, he was a jumper, but he'll act all oppressed by a piece of framing lumber which he could easily jump.

The horse i used to ride loved jelly sandwiches and loved to mess us my hair qnd pull out the braids/ ponytails out of my hair im a sneak attack.... well as sneaky as a draft cross could be.....

A bit felt like vindictiveness.


I was at breakfast with Dr. Tyler yesterday.


DT: My mother was right-handed and hit me in my left ear.

WT: My mother was right-handed and hit me in my left ear. I'm a bit deafer there than the other side.

DT: No I didn't.

WT: I see . . . .

My parents did the best they could
I have to believe that or it would break me

When I was little little (maybe 6ish) my mom said "you look like______" (when I asked who it was she told me the name of a movie star i can't remember)

I asked "was she pretty"

My mom said "no" and laughed..... I will never forget it...she wasn't trying to hurt me.... but I still remember and is not a happy memory

I am that kid to my 85 and 86 yr old parents....

I have a daughter who has to deal with 2 children under 5 and one who is non verbal autistic. My son has high functioning autism but is often needing my help.

I understand your situation with 80+ parents. I had to deal with my mother and then help raise 2 children.

My hat is off to you Missk. My oldest sister really dealt with our parental situation. We all got engaged but she took the lions share.
