I agree. You shouldn't have to change things about yourself to attract/please another, unless it's something you want to do.

It wouldn't be what I would want. I have never enjoyed havng to pretend to be someone else or suppress any aspect of my personality or interests.

Rural life is nice in that the area is pretty and there aren't cars and fumes everwyehere. But the price we sometimes pay for that is there are less social opportunities. YMMV of course :)

Indeed.

It's worth a try, once you get past all the usual premium content pushing shit that exists everywhere on social media these days. If something were to ever materialise then it's a nice bonus. Until then I have no real expectations. No idea how succesul or good Okcupid is. I've never used dating apps tbh so i've no idea whether they are, on the whole, any good.
 
Hello NC and QuimP. It’s another morning and up with the old dog at 3 am.

Recap: yesterday was beautiful weather and spent some time outside and some with old friends who live in the country outside of my city. We watched the Tigers win another one! How long will they stay hot? It’s fun to watch.

I have a new taxi schedule which is Tuesday and Thursday. It’s better for us all.

The weather continues to be pleasant and warming. Going for a walk later. Unfortunately at my age, I need to make several call to various doctors today.

About wives and relationships, I learned from my mistakes and my last marriage was near perfect. Would she drive crazy sometimes? Yes! But we would always talk it out and find a solution, going to bed having resolved the conflict and cuddling. So hang in there those who are still looking. You still have time.
